You are right in that the degree varies and is dependent on the overall chart.

If i may, below are my chart details.

DOB: 3rd july 1979

TOB: 6.15am local IST ( janampatri)

Place: Jaipur, INDIA

longitute 75E49/latitude 26N55.

As background, i think its known that rahu dasa promises great accomplishments

(rahu in 3rd w/sat)..i think in my case, i could say that the early half of

this long MD was so, but as classicaly correct, it is all being taken away as

the rahu MD is on its way to complition (end of 2005). Sat in 3rd i think, is

bringing a controlling or rather restricting effect of my amitions and ideas

(jup in 2nd w lagna lord mer). I am Looking forward to my jup MD satrting end

2005.

As far as I know, imperically speaking, sat + rahu combination being 2nd from UL

almost always indicates loss of ones spouse on account of death or scandalous

behaviour on her part, but then i am optimistic because of drapada being good.

Awaiting your understanding of the situtation....

I think so far your analysis is right on, I am awaiting your full analysis of D1, D9,D10.

Its a bit interesting to derive the conclusions given some planetary behaviour.

I am my own theory, which i shall offer once i recieve yours.

You are absolutely right about guru bhadka, among other things it is hemmed

between sun and sat/rahu. Also, in D9, its in own rahi in 8th...(makes me sad,

haha)

but anyways...as far as guru MD for money, it should be a blessing cuz HL GL are

there...however i think it is causing much problems in my maritial life(or lack

of one)...i am particularly interested in your take on GTY being second from

UL, as per jamini, that has severe iimplications...

anyways..we will see what both of us can come up with..

A snake bite on any limb can prove painful and fatal.

GTY is also same.

I have a collection of a number of GTY horoscopes with people suffering to a

grater to lesser degrees .Very few seeming exceptions are there.

But some time in the life, it rears its head.

Your question is that if it is in 3rd house, what happens?

I have a horoscope where the father of native drowned in 3rd year of the native.

And the lady spent all her life sharing her husband with another woman.

We need to know complete birth details in order that we can see GTUY's degree of effect.

I would beg to differ with you on Guru dasa being good.

As per my HP theory, Guru is in VM sign.

Guru is Badhakadhipati also.

Further Guru is exalted.
