The Moon has moved to 16 degrees Pisces, today,

as of 9am, Sunday, ... March 21st...2004.....

Dear Friends:

Ahhhhhh, finally..... the Moon's beginning to get bigger!

Quite a nice, welcome change after the commotions of the last 10 - 14 days....

Today, the Moon's already 8 degrees past the Sun....so you can really feel that

pendulum....swinging past....

However, the Moon's still very tiny and there's a feeling of intense,

exchaustion that accompanys.....

Good day to enjoy the increased focus of the Waxing Moon, but especially with

Sunday in mind, enjoy it in a quiet way.

In spite of this new outward, dynamic shift of the Moon....and increasing energy

and go, go go......over the next 2 weeks..

Notice:

There's still all the other Planets which are still in their inward, patient,

holding back kinds of qualities....

So, enjoy this outward manifestation....due to the Moon.... but ....

be patient, .....

You can do anything at any time, but....the Transits teach us about the efficacy

of acting more in-tune with the natural rhythms of Nature....

like this Moon cycle...

and as a result getting more accomplished....with less stress & strain!

Most Important Other Tranists....Today:

First A Bit...of Jyotish Philosophy....for these still Intense

Times....

Pay attention to the Astrological....'symbolisms'....abounding around you...

and that will be the best way to interpret the transits for yourself....

#1 Identify the Planet that seems to be bugging you....

Is it Marish.... Are you feeling fiery, irritable....impatient...?

Is it Saturnish.. Are you feeling frustrations with delays, obstactes in your

path....or outright losses?

Or is it Rahuish.... Are you feeling the uncontrolable....desires of Rahu...

which leave us feeling drained and listless.....?.....

Oh, yes,....forgot Mercury..... still make be acting up, hard to focus, making

silly mistakes, like there's a fog...there....

All these are some of the Malefic....qualities of these Planets and MAY..... be

goings on now, due to their more malefic status....right now!

If we're feeling the positive or Benefic Qualities of these or any Planets....

then we normally just feel happy....and are enjoying...

But, we can also..... learn how to take more maximum advantage of the positive

Benefics, preseently goings....on....

Though there are still these 'other' Astrological 'goings-on'...that will be

continuing, simultaneously....

Take Jupiter & Rahu....for example...

They're presently locked in a very interesting, unusual...planetary aspect...

o Jupiter's running at 17:50 degrees of Leo...today....and Retrograde...

and funnily enough....

o Rahu's also running 17:49..degrees while it's in Aries...

And because they're both influencing each other.... there's this fascinating,

stuck, or locked quality going on....

Therefore you'll notice a kind of sluggish, progress and prosperity over these

days.... till #1, Jupiter stops going Retrograde....

Which is fascinating, Astrologically because Jupiter's going in the same

direction as Rahu during this time, when they're also locked into this same

degree!....configuration!

See also, the other simultanous goings on...

For example...Mars ever since it's moved into Taurus...and especially over the

last few days as it's started to climb up into the degrees....

Mars violence has been happening literally all over the world...

This happened last year, when Mars went from Scorpio, Mars' Own Sign and then

into Sagittarius...where a kind of Marish...self-righteousness thing was going

on...and then into Capricorn where Mars is Exalted....

We witnessed the whole beginning of the recent Iraq War...our leaders and

country... caught up in this Mars ....fervor!

So, now, Mars is back at it again.... and because of it's new direct influence

upon Jupiter, itself.... as Mars influences 4 Houses away from where it is....

then, Mars is 'negatively' influencing Leo, and Jupiter too!

So....we've got Rahu....influencing....Jupiter...

we've got Mars influencing ....Jupiter...

and we've also got Saturn influencing....Jupiter!

That's a lot of negative, 'malefic' Astrological qualities....

If you're experiencing any of these malefic qualities...then....take some time

to stir...and therefore enliven...that Jupiter.... inside of you....

or...

Diminish...the simultanous...Sani, Mars & Rahu....qualities....

o Mars in still in Taurus..6:18 degrees... 3/21....

Mars is aspecting Leo, from it's 4th House aspect, which wouldn't normally be

too bad, except Rahu & Saturn are all aspecting Leo as well, and especially

because ....Guru's transiting... there!

All the significations of Guru....are diminished...during this time!

o Rahu's at 17:49 degrees of Aries, so ....So, Rahu's directly influencing...

anything in Aries, anything 5 Houses away, 7 and 9...as well....

o Saturn's at 12:33 degrees of Gemini, so ....isn't influencing the Moon,

right now, but still Leo....where the all-important....Guru is presently

residing...!

o Guru's at 17:50 degrees of Leo, so ....Wow, can you feel the recent

slugishness of Guru? This is partly due to Rahu being at the same exact

degrees, ie. both at 17degrees....Now... and until Jupiter starts going

direct... and stops going, basically in the same direction as Rahu.... things

will continue to be slugish,...in terms of normal Jupiter...progressions and

activities!

See if the financial markets don't exhibit a strange kind of slow, up and down

quality...till then....

Jupiter continues in it's Retrograde motion....till May 5th, 2004!

This may literally define the time that Jupiter is presently resting...

o Sun moves' into Pisces today! ....Sun's at 7 degrees Pisces, right now.

o Mercury's StillCombust right now....Sun's at 7 degrees Pisces... while

Mercury's at 23 degrees of Pisces...Because of this 'too bright' Sun, Mercury's

significations often get washed out, during combustions... (11 degrees apart is

better then it's been, but....)

So, take the necessary time to think things through! Though 10 degrees apart is

almost enough to disallow Mercury to be too troublesomely combust!

I noticed a lot of people have been having some rough days, regarding the heart,

(Venus, and small Moon) and decision makings...ie....Mercury, combust and

debilitated....in Pisces! (see below)

Mercury Moves out of Debilitation on March 26th.....!!!!

Only 5 more days to go!

When it moves into Aries...

& becomes less....dis-functional!

so hold on, till then....

Also Mercury's movement into Pisces, represents the weakest time of the year for

Mercury. Mercury's said to be in debilitation in Pisces and so this time,

represents a hard time, (3 weeks) for intellectual decision makings...

This is because Mercury represents boundries and focus of attention on specific

and detailed qualities, whereas Pisces represents just the opposite; no

boundries, freedom and transcendence.

Mercury has a hard time in Pisces for just this reason. If you find yourself

feeling your 'heads', in the clouds, quality, take a deep breath and focus....

This will bring Mercury out of that Piscian, clouds, quality and back to Earth.

Well, this was very much the quality of the last few days....and was harder to

'do' then to understand why!

Interesting Jyotish/life.... dilema!

o Venus / Rahu Alert!!!

Venus now... at 23:11 degrees of Aries, now, but did you notice the really

intense, 'roughness' on a heart, feeling level over the last few days!

Rahu's ...at 17:49 degrees...of Aries, too. Rahu seems stuck at 18:09

degrees.... but Venus is moving closer and closer!

Now, both, 6 degrees apart, again

So, beware of any especially troublesome, or chaotic, or bizarre affairs of the Heart!

Good time, to be careful with the heart.....

And not buy into anything like that... just because that 'storm' of the heart is coming...

"Hi Mark: It's been so good to read the recent star reports especially with the

descriptions of the rahu/venus planetary war. The last days were/are extremely

bizarre, especially thursday. Again, the sadness about my lost 'love of my

life' appeared incredibly strong. I even wasn't able to think about the

Jyotish. I could only rest....pray....and wait until the dark clouds will

pass.

I really felt this storm in the heart, much more then ever in the past.

I think there is a special malefic influence fo rme, since this 'war' happens

rather close to my natal Venu's birth position at 13:40 degrees, also in Aries.

Also, my natal Moon's in Libra where now, transiting Ketu stands which may also

express the greater intensity in which I'm experiencing this transit...

I remember your "3 Pillars of Jyotish".....and am aware therefore of my dashas,

too, for I am in the Venus antara dasa period....as well.

So, it seem to me this was/is an incredible 'cosmic focus' for me...., a hot

spot, which brought me close to the melting point!"

regarding the personal impact....of the transits....for oneself!

Well done... And contrary to what you were saying, about not being able to find

the Jyotish meanings goings on.... I think your knowing these things about the

nature of the transits....and how they might be influencing you....

probably had a very good effect.

Because, not knowing why we're feeling this way....is worse!

It leads to even more confusion...and not understanding the 'whys' of Nature, we

sometimes, do even a more worse, re-action....

like blowing up, angry,....in an especially Marish,...malefic moment...

or ....straining against or regards something....when in fact, Sani's negative

or malefic situation...suggests we be more patient,....at this time....

So,....I'm sure you'll agree, that this knowledge.....can't of helped having a

very profound effect for you....

Though there's one other way in which we can take the sometimes,....

over-whelming quality of these transits...

If it helps, I, and many others....felt this same kind of intense frustration!

But, this is an opportunity to reflect on what I like to call.... the

'transcendental Nature of the Stars....'......

This means no matter what is going on..... we do have the nature, the potential,

to reside in that place.....

that spiritual, consciousness place....which is literally already....beyond the Stars!

The Consciousness approach or perspective of Vedic Science....teaches us that

our Consciousnesses...or spirits or souls, how ever you want to say it....

but there is an inner part of us....that is beyond...the Relative....Existence!

It is in fact, during these kinds of intense times, that that depth of Being...

is tested...and can help us.... maintain our equanimity!
