Even if you wanted to pirate it, which of course you wouldn't as it would not be a wise move karmically, they protect it so that you have to email them a system code after installation, then they send you an unlocking code. If you reformat your hard drive or get a new computer, it won't work till you get another unlocking code. There is no way to share expenses with another person by each paying half and then making a second copy....
