You took the right location.

I have two set of views on this Jupiter positioning in my horoscope. It has the

dosha for lordships of two Kendra's, its functional malefic for me, its Neech

and also considered to be a Badhaka for dual rasi (and then HT theory has some

other logics that Hemantji has indicated from time to time) . These are some of

the negatives.

The positives are that it is in 5th house, its in the Moon Nakshtra and also

that it is Retrograde. Then as you mentioned that the lord is in Kendra so, it

should make it NBRY. Then the aspects of Jupiter are good, Lagna, Lagna Lord

and 9th house (Moon).

How the period will go has to be still seen, but I have decided to do some

remidies for Jupiter, in any case Jup-Jup is not considered to be good. Right

now also my period with Rahu-Mars is going really bad with some suffering on

lot of fronts. Rest time will tell.

In your case Both of them have NBRY.

1)Venus: Its exalted place iss pisces and its lord Jupiter is aspecting Vennus

that's cancelling and giving NBRY.

2) Two ways,

a) by being neecha and retrograde its equal to exaltaion (definite)

b) Jupiter's dispositor is saturn, who is in kendra to lagna. Thus saturn here is causing NBRY.

You are lucky in being jupiter after being in NBRY and also exalted by virtue of

Retrograde motion IS LOOKING AT MOON (MANAHKARAKA AND 9TH PLACE), then LAGNA AND

LAGNA LORD. Though Jupiter has some kendradhipathi dosha, it should give good

results overall.
