Guest guest
May be Sanjay, you r right...may be not. I am (was) not a very firm believer of the gem therapy. My husband had gifted me a light yellow sapphire pendant on my birthday last year(not for any astrological reason) and strangely enough after wearing it I got 3 job offers when i didnt even try seriously(I was already doing one..these were like suddenly out of the blue and my dreams coming true). But i couldnt take up any one of them as we moved to a new country. Before coming here I had taken my pendant off for no particular reason. I was looking for jobs in this new place and one day for no particular reason again I wore that pendant. In two weeks time I got a job in my own field. So I now for some unknown reason dont take off the pendant very often. BUT...I also broke my knee (3 months back) , had a major surgery etc..and I was wearing my pendant at that time too. So.....? What do we say? I was advised to wear Yellow Sapphire a few weeks ago. The day I wore it, next day I got finalized for marriage. However the marriage broke off in 3-4 days. I also thought that it could be stone, but when I looked at my horoscope there were two things that had happened at that time, A] I had started Rahu-Mars dasha on the same day (from Rahu-Moon). and B] The Saturn had gone retrograde give it a double blow. It was not destined to happen. Stones can reduce the effect, but I dont think they can change the destiny. Just my thoughts.Manoj Sharma <manojsharma662000 > wrote: Hi Flick. To cut the long story short, I was doing my commercial pilot's course from a prestigious institute, and supposedly I was good at flying. The guys who are into aviation have to undergo medical examination once every year. I had to drop out of aviation because of very minor medical problem. Though every doctor told me it was curable, nobody could cure it; I was grounded--first temporarily and then permanently. In short, it meant that I wouldn't be flying anymore. It was a devastating blow.......for me flying was just not a career or a mode to eke out livelihood......it was something that had boosted my self-esteem, it made be see my own worth, it also meant that I would be breaking the shackles of lower middle class life (if you are aware of Indian society, lower middle class life is a drudgery to say the least, and aviation is quite a paying job in India), and it also meant that I would be "winning" over some things that were very important to me........ I wanted to experiment with anything. One astrologer told me that the significator of my professional life was Saturn, and since Saturn was very weak, though benefic, in my chart, I have suffered set back in my profession. At some place, sombody had told me that Pink Sapphire is meant for propitiating Saturn and Sun, and it is a gem that is capable of changing the wearer's fortune within hours or so. I decided that I would wear Pink Sapphire. In next few days, I purchased this stone and wore it in the evening. Just I was coming back after purchasing this stone, I met with a grisly mishap and was hospitalised for almost a month or so.......In the meantime, my Dad also started suffering in terms of his health. This all happened within two days.....and on the third day I took off my stone and told my friend to drop in the river. And with this experiment, I became poorer by 5000 rupees. It is lot of money in India. The most amazing part was that the moment I took off the ring, my Dad's health was restored as if there was some magic wand. It was not surprising if seen from astrological perspective though; Sun is also supposed to be the significator of Father. It is again a dicotomy or sorts in my case: one section of astrologers had predicted that I would be having very good Saturn Mahadash, the other section had predicted that it would be bad because of very weak Saturn. As far as I am concerned, I think my Saturn Mahadasha has been shorn with many obstacles and failures; aviation was just one of them. Thankfully, I am on the verge of finishing my Saturn Mahadasha. Against this backdrop, I just want to again emphasize that please be very very careful in trying this stone. This is just my experience; hope other members on the list can also shed some light on it. What do we say? that possibly it's good for one area of your chart but bad for another? Or maybe the accident would have been worse if you weren't wearing the sapphire...These things can't be a cure all, they are only an aid to give you tat bit of extra energy to overcome a block or motivate yourself. You still have to live your life. I see them like medicine that gives your immune system a boost to heal yourself - it's still your own energy that heals you.
