Guest guest
I prefer normally to read the posts, and not participate ... but these posts sometimes require a reply. I refer to a question raised by a student regarding Indian astrologers and the replies that I have read. I think the student does not deserve to be put down and we should not behave like Kings of old who killed the bearers of unpleasant news. It is the Guru of this student who has certain complexes. Knowledge whether Indian, Nepalese, Islamic or Budhist does not need to be condemned ... it is the rigid and negative attitudes of the proponents that should be discouraged. Guest guest
I am not discouraging anyone from raising questions. When we talk on a country/Subject we should be very careful. I am not refering only to Astrology. Let it be any subject. With warm regards Muruli. Guest guest
Ritu, I wish the mentalities of people was so straight forward so as to take such issues on face .. a thought came to my mind when I read the original post ... "what if this fellow is trying to decry Indian astrology on the pretext of his Guru wanting to burn the books" .... I might be wrong or right in what I thought ... however one thing remains ... a true seeker of knowledge need not use any kind of superlatives in his or anyone elses name to clarify his doubts ... because the very basis of questioning Indian astrology based on "no detailed analysis ever given" sounds very superficial to my mind ... This is only my humble opinion ... Surya. --- Ritu Lalit <ritulalit wrote: > I prefer normally to read the posts, and not > participate ... but > these posts sometimes require a reply. Guest guest
Dear Prakashji, +1. Knowledge cannot be sought by threatening to burn the books. I very much doubt the intentions of the original poster. Namaste.
