As shri HT-ji wrote that while performing homam for propitiating Rahu-Shani, two persons in the form of drunk, black, thick haired person and sad, oldly poor person -came to take food/prasadam. One whose Rahu is very malefic to the extent no other plnet can save him - he becomes like Rahu--drunkard, thick haired, blackish complexion etc. etc. Also one who is having Shani as very malefic - makes him disabled, sad looking, sulking etc. etc. If you feed a person who is being made suffer by Shani/Rahu => you propitiate Shani/Rahu. Likewise, if you help selflessly to people suffering due to some ill-effects of some malefic planet(s), don't you unknowingly propitiate those very planets in your own birth-chart. Just an idea! But unless Rahu or Shani wants to accept your offering, they will not come personally. Very fact that they have come to accept your offering means your Homa is accepted by them. What you suggest is, feedind such people can be as effective or not. I think that it may not be right. Their Karmas have made them to undergo such state of misery. Till their karmas are there they have to undergo this state they are in. Your offering is DAANAM and if DAANAM is given to KUPATRA, it is again a sin. So it is better not to offer in the manner you suggested. Yes, what benefit in the form of Punya you may derive is POOR FEEDING of any soul. But that is not an indication that RAHU or SHANI bhagwan will accept your offering.If that were the case, only feeding of such people would have been prescribed as a remedy for Rahu or Shani problems.
