Guest guest
Dear Sanjay: What a beautiful email...re... the nature of life, consciousness and Jyotish! I'm on the same page with you re. the importance of integrating consciuosness and jyotish. Had a couple of personal things to share... One time when I was meditating.. I had my awareness shoot out of my head...and soar...into the Heavens... It was like I became this incredible...cosmic, consciousness... telescope... and I could see the stars...and go anywhere...in the whole universe... Then,..my awareness turned around...and plummeted down...and finally back and into my body...and then...penetrating deep..inside... and my awareness became like a telescope..and I realized I could also learn to experience anything on an inner, microscopic level as well. Wow.... our bodies...our nervous systems...are this amazing... cosmic telescopes and microscopes.... No wonder you'll hear the expression 'the body is the temple of the soul'... And what a temple they are! My guru also is fond of saying...that the nature of human individual consciousness...is in fact....'Cosmic'.... and when one studies..the stars... (what's significant about Jyotish) is that through it.... one starts by studying what seems to be outside of oneself.. ie the Universe and stars...etc... but...Jyotish enlivens the connection between the inner and the outer... and literally one will find the Stars and the Universe.,...within.... oneself.. I remembered that experience one time...when I realized after a number of years of studying jyotish...that I was beginning to see stars...inside... and I remembered that statement... and realized it had been true.. studying jyotish had enlivened...that quality of the Univers...as being within mySelf! One last response to your wonderful thoughts about shiva and Mother divine... Another time...I was meditating..and all of a sudden....god appeared inside... And it was an experience...after enough transcendental experiences.. that I knew it was true... but, I experienced god as a flame... right in front of my awareness.... was this wonderful flame of consciousness.. and I knew and in fact saw....that on the left side...my left... his right.. heheh.... God...was masculine... and on the right, my right...god was female.. and then I knew the significance...of that thing we hear about... looking for one's twin flame! and I realized....god is that twin flame...that once we find....true fulfillment... is then possible...
