Guest guest
Dear DDN sayujya.... There tend to be these two extremes....of each house and the 12th house is no exception.... On the one hand, powerful planets there....will give a lot of interest...in terms of moksha...and enlightenment....spiritual experience...of the transcendental nature....especially.... but....the other side...is the 12th house...is the house of financial loss.... so...planets there tend to be involved in some sort...of 'loss'...quality in one's life... In other words... if sani...is there in the house of loss..... then you may ...be 'at loss'....as to the positive sides of Sani.... and therefore suffer....too many of the malefic sides...like debts, sufferings, grief and losses....financial as well....as others.... I have sani in my 12th house.... and the 2 scenarios...we've been talking about...both...had their way with me! Then, I started to get a 'hint' from Jyotish that.... some planets there are good and others...not so good.... So...then I realized....that the spiritual inclinations...can be fine.... but I may need to re-think my patterns...associated with handling money... The 12th house...is also a sanyasi or reclusive house...so people with planets there may have a very powerful, reclusive...nature... but...if the rest of their chart...has enough inclinations towards the material.... these 2 aspects....sets one up...for a great conflict! Yogananda, for example was supposed to have a Leo rising...and the Moon, lord of his 12th house...in the first house... and for him,...he was a life long celibate and sanyasi.... For others..like myself...can't speak for you, without knowing the other aspects of your chart..... I had a strong....monkish side to me.... but also....a strong... desire to be a householder in this life... So.... this brought many problems... until I learned how to reconcile... my old, sanyasi...patterns of functioning with 12th house...activities... of handling money, for example... and learned how to treat money differently.... When I learned how to 'save' money, for example...all the Sani, grief, associated with the 12th house....went away! hope this helps.... Sincerely, Mark Kincaid PS.... I don't know if you've heard, but I also write a daily, Jyotish newsletter, you might be interested in. It's primarely about the transits in Jyotish but covers other areas as well. If you or anyone else in this group would like to , feel free to contact me at: m.kincaid. And the newsletter is free. > "sayujya7" <nairdd > > Mon, 19 Jan 2004 21:22:28 -0000 > > Re: The 12th HOUSE. > > Hello, > > What happens when Sani is in 12th house in Aries and Rahu is in the > 10th house of career in Aquarius.Basically, lord of 10th house is in > 12th house, the house of spiritual enlightenment. > > DDN > > , "sanjaytechnology" > <sanjaytechnology> wrote: >> All: >> >> We have become one very big family. Guest guest
Hello Mark, Interesting thoughts about 12th house and Sani in 12th. Somewhere I have read that planets in 12th bhava, give happiness of their karakatwas. I do not know your horoscope so cannot tell much. Yes, you have rightly said about duality of every house. In fact , there is duality of every planet and every house . I aim to touch on this duality in my writing on Rahu Maharaj. Guest guest
Dear Mark, Very interesting points you gave on the 12th house. Your reasoning and explanation helped me gain another perspective and understanding of Sani in the 12th house (as I also have this planet in this house). Thank you for this contribuition, which helped me look at myself in a different spectrum. Roy - Mark Kincaid <m.kincaid <> Wednesday, January 21, 2004 2:59 AM 2-, from MarkK,....1/20.....
