Guest guest
Dear Sanjay Prabhu, Thank you very much for your first post on Mercury. I feel I have benefited a lot from your teachings. Can you kindly help me clarify the following doubts regarding your post and on Mercury? As explained in your mail, in Bill Gate's chart, Mercury occupying the 4th, in its own sign (Virgo) produces a great Yoga. His thinking is very evolved and guides him to a high social status. Yet Mars in the same house is a planet of selfishness, greed, and rash action. It also creates impatience, impulsiveness, and self-centeredness. Also, Mars in Bill Gate's chart is a functional malefic, and it is posited as great enemy in Sthanabala, and therefore, it may produce affliction for the significations of the house it sits in and the houses it aspects. Your wrote: Mercury in the 4th house with Mars depicts his manner of communicating with aggressive and combative manner. Hence, Moon and the house receives the qualities of both Mercury and Mars, which make the native intelligent and competitive. There is no doubt that Bill Gates is a result of very positive planetary influence. Being Mercury a neutral planet, which changes according to its placement in sign and house, does this have the capacity ward off the bad qualities of Mars? That is, how about the negative qualities of Mars? Don't they also reflect on the soft Moon and the significations of the house? ____ The 8th house is the worst dusthana, yet Mercury is the one planet whose significations are not totally destroyed by the evil 8th house (unless poorly disposed). It is said that this placement gives come powerful benefits. Can you please explain a little on this point? Thank you always. Kind regards, Roy
