My name is Karen (date of birth 28/01/1959 at 11. 20. Norg in Netherland) Sorry for my English ( I am Dutch-French) which I rather badly write. I learn by analyzing charts of friends and relatives, and there I am occupied on a whom presents a particular configuration. This person (man) present a KSY. Hi Thank you for your attention. I analyze this chart as an example to learn astrology. It is the diagram of friend of my husband, a man, and I read that this yoga KS is not very good. I shall like to have your opinion. The past events do not refer to me, but to this man. He lives well , married, but childless, a little bit rich and a good profession. Never of accidents or diseases so far. He studies also with a guru in Nepal. Even though Moon is conjunct with Ketu in the 10th. the delineation is very clear. He has the Shankpal Kalsarpa Yoga as given in the scriptures. In general: When rahu occupies the 4th house and Ketu the 10th this yoga is Formed. The native gets trouble relating to work sphere and has to go through stress and anxiety. Sometimes the native has an illegitimate child or can be an illegitimate child. However this yoga also has the power of conferring high political success and windfall gains. Now let us analyse some more. 1. ASC is at 29 deg 38 minutes (very close to moving into the next sign), meaning if the time of birth is wrong and if advanced by a few minutes will change his ASC to LIBRA. In other words the KSY will still remain but the numbering of the houses will change. I am assuming his horoscope has been corrected through lifetime predictions. However this is a point to note. Mars, Mercury, venus and Jupiter are all COMBUST. MARS in Cancer is AK and in deep debilitation. 2. By first principles Venus and Mercury are the functional benefics for Virgo Lagna. Mars, Jup, Moon are functional malefics. Venus is a killer and Mercury/Venus combining gives Raja Yoga. Mars becomes a very potent MALEFIC because of lordship of 8th and 3rd. Mars also is the Atmakaraka for this native. 3. mars, jup, Sun, Venus in 11th makes that house very potent malefic. Moreover Lord of 11th in 10th indicates sever afflictions. 4. He is running Maha Dasha of Budh (Mercury) and Antar Dasha of VENUS till 9/2007 . Mercury is a benefic for this ascendant and would have appeased his suffering during this DASHA and led the native towards 12th (Moksha properties). BUT the period of MErcury/KETu before this from 2003 NOVEMBER to 2004 NOVEMBER would have caused suffering of various sorts (Mother, properties, wealth, health and immense tilt towards spirituality). The current period of Mercury/VENUS is the only period which will give him Raja Yoga of sorts for 3 years ending Sep 2007. This is a good period for him relatively to the remaining period of his life. 4.5 The Native is currently in the CORE of his SADE SATTI since Saturn in GEMINI is in the house of MOON causing more suffering and afflictions. 5. He was running under balance of RAHU dasha when he was born till 1966 -- very bad period (first 11 yrs. of life). 6. His KETU Mahadasha starts in June . 2018 and ends in June 2025. This will be an extreme period of suffering with various consequences unless proper remedies are taken. 7. Now lets look at principles of BHAVAT BHAVAM here. 8th from 4th (where RAHu is placed indicates fall to mother during RAHU transit/DASHA). 8th from 10th (where KETU is placed and the point of conjunction of KSY starting to rotate) points to the 5th house of children indicates suffering due to loss of 5th. 4th from 7th for spouse indicates a suffering due to KETU and afflicted moon. 10th from 7th indicates loss of career for spouse due to KSY. All these above losses occur whenever KETU/RAHu show up in Maha/Antar Dash/Transit combos. His MARS being AK becomes a very significant malefic planet with deadly malefic properties and indicates a very high level of spirituality in this lifetime. MARS also rules the 3rd chakra (stomach area) and can be the cause of suffering in that area. His 2 Mahadashas of exalted Combust Jupiter and exalted Saturn are over. The native is getting ready for the KETU dasha arriving in 2018 which will test the boundary limits of KSY. You need to provide strength to mercury and do remedies for mars.
