Dear Friends:

I'm writing to you today, to ask you a few questions.

I'm thinking of changeing the Daily Star Reports.... and I'd appreciate some

feedbacks from you all.

I'd like to know how many of you really take advantage of the Daily Star Reports,

or if there are other areas of Jyotish that you'd like to hear about, in addition?

I'm thinking of perhaps, doing just a Weekly Star Report, and covering the

Transits, in a Week At A Glance.... so to speak.

So..... if you'd all please give me some more feedback that would be very

appreciated!

Weekly Daily Star Report -

The Moon moves to 4 degrees Taurus, today,

as of 9:00am, Friday January 3nd....2004.....

CST....

USA...

Please adjust the time as to your different Time Zones...

For those of you in Europe & Asia, especially.... the

information below, will be starting in your afternoons or evenings....

New Star Reports: Week At A Glance......

Moon moves into Taurus, the Moon's Sign of Exaltation, today!

You should all notice quite a shift over the last 2 days.

The Moon was colliding with Rahu, especially yesterday, Friday..... and that was

very rough for many people.

See....if you don't find the next few days.... very much more smooth....

and full of energy, Moon's Waxing, and more than 1/2 Full....

So....expect a lot of good energy....starting today, Saturday... and much inner

contentment... and good feelings inside...

Therefore, the next few days will be very productive for almost everything!

You'll feel happier.

Others will be more receptive....

Find the Taurus in your Charts, and you should really notice.... exactly what

area of 'the life' will be experiencing the Moon's Transit.... the most keenly!

Remember the Houses....represent...all the different Areas of the Life!

7 Day 'Week At A Glance'

Saturday 1/3/04 Moon's Beginning Exaltation - Prime, wonderful day!

Also there is 'no' malefic influence upon Taurus, and the Moon's Transit, there,

so there won't be the complications and dramas....as we've had if you've been

watching the last few weeks, here and there.

Sunday 1/4/04 Moon moves to 16 degrees Taurus.... So, Sunday will be as

wonderful as Saturday!

Jupiter starts going Retrograde right now, so that brings to 3, the number of

planets that are presently, Retrograde. Saturn, Mercury and now Jupiter....

So....make sure that the signfications of those planets are not being too

wierd, and if so, adjust accordingly. For example, when Mercury's Retrograde,

all kinds and manners of slight fuzzy thinking,

and silly mistakes happen during these times....

This 'Retrograde' time, therefore won't be the best, to sign on a house, a new

business.... or things like that!

Monday 1/5.... Moon moves to 28 degrees today.... So...Moon's still pretty

happy and won't move out of Exaltation for another 4 hours after this email,

Transit starts....

(PS.... the Star Reports are based on Calculations from Mid- western US, at 9am

each day. So, please adjust for other time zones)

Tuesday 1/6... Moon arrives already to 10 degrees of Gemini. And normally

this would be fine, but this year, both Saturn and now even Mars are aspecting

Gemini. So....look at these next few days....as being more intense, and

dramatic.

Saturn's at 15 degrees: So, in 10 hours ....expect the worse part of that

'planetary collision'!

And.... Mars is at 19 degrees: Which means in 18 hours from the 9am starting

time, Moon will be colliding with Mars' influence as well....

Therefore.... watch especially.... 19:00 hours or at 7pm, CST.... Moon and

Saturn will be exactly conjunct!

One Major Change! Mercury stops being Retrograde from today, and that will

feel majorly better!

Wednesday 1/7... Moon moves to 22 degrees of Gemini, today. And the last

few 'hours' probably felt a little wierd!

And at 3am...on the next day....will be the heigth of Moon & Mar's collision..

So.... between 7pm Tuesday, and 3am....Wed. .... CST....

things will be the Worse!

Thursday 1/8... Moon moves into Cancer....the 2nd most happy place for the

Moon. Notice the next 2..and 1/2 days will be quite delightful, similar

to the Moon's recent transit of Taurus!

And like the Taurus, this Month and this year....there is presently no malefic

influence into Cancer, also.

So.... good 2 1/2 days....of warm, cosy, feelings, trust your intuitions, and

follow your feelings....

They will be the least complicated at this time!

Friday 1/9.... Moon arrives to 17 degrees of Cancer....so again, the entire

day will be quite wonderful!

For Example, Here's a Question from a 'Nan' in

Iowa City, Iowa

"Hi Mark. I am fine, thank you. I liked your recent star report where you

described how a person can do some things to get more in-tune with Saturn.

I really liked that, ... really a kind of advice to 'exhale, as it were, (or

meditate), when one feels no movement is occuring. Great reminder! Thanks,

It really helps me."

"Dear Nan: You bring up a very exciting area of Jyotish for me and that is,

how can we understand the inherent.... life symbolism that comes to us in the

guise of Planets, Suns and Stars!

Learning to understand what the 'heck' Nature is trying to communicate to us, is

one of The Greatest....ways of using Jyotish/Astrology.

So....try and identify the Planet that's most operating in your daily moment.

And see if you can think of how you might approach the problem or challenge

differently, utilizing.... some unique Jyotish symbolisms.

Your point to 'exhale', take a breath...or be more patient... especially when

one doesn't really feel like it....

is a great way of re-understanding.... a normally, negative....Saturn situation!

There are Basic, Archetypal, Astrological Symbolisms....

that really goes with each and every planet!

And this is a very powerful way of understanding our Jyotish...

"Mark, I've been watching the Transits, a lot lately....and I thought I was

getting a kind of handle on things.... but I felt very rough these last few

days.

My question is...though, how can we know if the reason we're feeling crummy or

confused...is due to the 'transits' or something else in our charts?"

"Dear Mell: Don't forget there are only really 3 primary areas of our Jyotish

that are literally responsible for almost 90% of what's going on in our lives!

Also, wanted to say, one quick thing.... partly what you're reporting was due

to the recent transit of the Moon through where Rahu is.

That was rough for a lot of people I talked to and have been communicating with!

So.... try and get into the habit of looking at three things...

Those 3 Pillars of Jyotish....like I was calling them....

Look at the Transits....

But, look at the Dasas...too....

and also, look at your Chart, too!

And then try and see how the 3 overlap....

I was doing a lady's chart the other day....and she was complaining about some

particularly.... uncomfortable and rough goings on....lately!

She said it had been going on for a few months now....but she didn't think it

was due to just the Transits!

And when I looked at her Dasas.... I couldn't find anything too glaring there...,

also.

But, then when I looked at her Chart, and literally combined her chart, with the

transiting Saturn in Gemini, right now...

I realized...she'd just recently this year.....in fact.... started going into

that classic, 'sadi sat'....thing that you hear about quite a bit in Jyotish...

So.... knowing where the aggravation is coming from is a very powerful tool from.....Jyotish.

Then, we can begin to get a better handle on what we're supposed to be doing

right now.... in addition to suffering!

Next week we'll talk about what we can do for Saturn, malefic situations....

Whether you just entered into a large Saturn period or Saturn's personally

aggravating something important in your chart....

What is Saturn really all about? And how can we get stronger with a positive

Saturn? And turn this around!
