Warm Regards. --Sanjay Hello Harish Bhai: Excellent Catch. Arudha lagna is Makara (4th house) (capricorn) Not the 10th house. Lord of Lagna in 4, 10 makes AL= 4th house. Also, you are right 8th from 8th gives 8th (dont want to use the word) inflicting qualities making the 3rd house Ayursthanam. Similarly The sixth house from the sixth house is the eleventh house. The eleventh house can reveal the result of illness and healing, or your enemy's enemy (your friend), in this case is ruled by Sun. Also 8th from 9th points to the dreaded 4th house in this horoscope which is the dreaded 4th house. So we can see that the stessful 4th house (the dreadful scissor house surrounded by papa kartari)significates stress to mother and could be due to a link to 8th from 9th (father). Why is Sun the single most Badha Karaka? Is it because Surya is in Moola Nakshatra and its lord being Ketu? Guru is also in Moola. Another point, Mangal is in the Uttarashada Nakshatra who is lorded by Guru (functional malefic).
