Guest guest
I have heard/read that Rahu and Ketu are highly under the influence of Sani. In fact, Sani is considered as a snake with Rahu as the head and Ketu as the tail. Could someone throw more light on the mutual relationship between these three. Also, if Rahu(Kumbha rashi) in Tenth house and retrograde Saturn (Aries) in twelveth house, how will the career scene be ...... Thanks DDN

Guest guest
Hello Tanvir, For more info, please read this great article from Lalkitab http://www.indianastrology.com/learn/saturneffect.asp It will open your eyes!!!!!! I have met a North Indian astrologer who told me that pacifying Sani is important, despite having favourable Rahu and Ketu, because Rahu and Ketu are puppets of Sani. Sani is equated with Lord Shiva, Rahu with Durga and Ketu with Ganesha. It all proves the fundamental idea/thought/principle that Lord Shiva is Mahadeva, Lord of Gods. He is equated with Parabrahman. Guest guest
hello, the astrologer said it partially right. because each planet has it's own role to play. so rahu ketu alone being favourable can not give you all happiness. saturn will have his own role to play and he will be in his own position. but that does not mean that rahu ketu will DEPEND on saturn, UNLESS there is something like that in particular. so generally rahu and ketu will not depend on saturn - that is not true to say that they will depend. i truely thanks you that u wanted to oepn my eyes but, my dear jyotisha, while i appreciate your concern about educating me, i must not ignore the truth, anyway! looked at the article i remembered that i already read it. actually i have visited a huge number of websites which i did not read fully but left them for future reading, and now i am going to leave for a pretty long time without doing so for lack of time. a few things u will have to understand that saturn creates probs many of the times bec it is the natural karaka for grief, pains and problems. sat gives pain and leads to sacrifice and purity most of the times, while rahu leads to destruction and sins in general. another thing, i highly discourage to quote such things of websites. they are NOT dependable. it needs only little to open a website, then u can say almost anything there, i mean in the subject astrology. lal kitab is not a rhyme book but it had 1200 pages. quoting only a few pages does not actually shows what it wanted to say rather misleads people. the original lal kitab were never printed for business like a book of today but it had a few copies only. the little info from lal kitab we have are given before us with diff tastes and looks but it IS same. baically all ppl have the same little info from lal kitab that they are claiming to be the only unique info. again some ppl and websites are providing totally wrong info abt lal kitab. u know the scientist n numerlogist pythagorous? he gave some formulas of geomerty and we read a lot about them. once in a website, they were showing the illustration of pythagorous' geometry formula written in some old paper and telling it that it was a page of LAL KITAB !!!!! they were saying that the original lal kitab was found near a skeleton in a cave, who seemed to be the writer. on the other hand some website now say that someone named pundit roop chand joshi got it in his dreams. so the little info we have abt lal kitab is really not dependable. u have to know it enough. there is a learned lal kitab astrologer here, named upadhyay jee, u can learn good info from him and not fake ones like from those sites. there are also so called, 'astrologers' who know nothing of astrology, really nothing, and claim to be lal kitab specialist! we knew a guy who claimed that he can make similar formulas like lal kitab that worked as per his claims. lal kitab has some uncommon ways of remedies, and that guy started to make his "own lal kitab remedies" which look strange enough to confuse ppl. say he said he prescribed chocolate to one guy for his promotion, and that happened! actually the client contacted me and said that nor he got any improvement but the astrologer did not even paid any attention to his probs bec he claimed some good cash from him which he was unable to give. the astrologer made some unique, "own lal kitab formulas". like marriage problem? sleep in hard bed [or boft bed? dont remember] getting late in marriage? keep a pic of doli in ur room. he said lal kitab says rahu rules elephant to if u want to avoid rahu then dont keep times of india bec it has elephant pics in it ! so if u read that newspaper, rahu will be angry and will harm you! i wonder how many lacs of ppl are getting harmed everyday for reading that newspaper. well, rahu is smoke, so to control rahu create smoke around u, become a chain smoker... take some 100 cigarettes per day... he he kidding he also opened a list that was soon doomed with the members questions and anger bec of the chart reading and remedies he was providing. once i was chatting him and he was talking abt kriya yoga, then i said i know nothing about it, and he claimed he created the method of kriya yoga! everything has a limit, for gods sake!! then i quickly asked, how come there be so many thouand pages on net abt kriya yoga and books abt it where u the founder of the method wrote nothing or no books abt it yet? so the versions of lal kitab we have are not sufficient to follow. b very careful. some ppl are creating tasty myths and lal kitab... they really are not concerned about your well being but only concerned about their pocket ! true!! anyway coming back to your main ques, sat signifies lord brahma and lord narayana a per sastras, and not lor shiva like that you are saying. but there is mrityunjaya mantra that works for saturn and the reason is diff, bec sat is the ruler of 8th house as a karaka and the mrityunjaya mantra refers to the 8th house [death, bondage, diseases etc.] as we see and the name says the same. so dont b confused. i hope to write more on it later, now i am a bit short in time. in the conclusion sat does not control rahu and ketu not saturn is a snake. in scriptures there are descriptions of saturn and many more u can read them and not those websites. you can also read my article on sat, found in the list site> files. once again sat is not the main of the planets. it is the sun. well sat has a special fear of people, even i have my highest respect for it among planets, but it doesnt mean that sat is the most mighty, it only means his nature and the way he uses his power. sun is the most powerful but he never uses his power in that way to give ppl grief. bec of his nature. and saturn has a diff responsibility of karma and that is why he behaves like that, but then he even chased lord shiva himself and driven him away from his adobe! so see saturn doesnt relate to lord shiva rather as per scriptures lord shiva relates to sun and sun is the cause of creation as per BPHS and some scriptures suggest that sun is a part of the lord vishnu or a manifestation of him. su is the king of planets while saturn is the servant only. let us not confused with doubtful sources anymore but pray to lord narayana with the mantra, "om namo narayanaya om" and saturn will be pleased with you a lot. harihi om tat sat Tanvir Founder, owner, moderator - sayujya7 Wednesday, December 31, 2003 2:19 AM Re: Saturn-Rahu Hello Tanvir,For more info, please read this great article from Lalkitabhttp://www indianastrology.com/learn/saturneffect.aspIt will open your eyes!!!!!!I have met a North Indian astrologer who told me that pacifying Sani is important, despite having favourable Rahu and Ketu, because Rahu and Ketu are puppets of Sani.Sani is equated with Lord Shiva, Rahu with Durga and Ketu with Ganesha. It all proves the fundamental idea/thought/principle that Lord Shiva is Mahadeva, Lord of Gods.
