Hello,

My lagna is Vrishaba.

I have Mars in 6th house in Libra and Saturn(retrograde) in 12th

house in Aries.

What are the consequences of this combination.

Also, please suggest some remedies.

Thanks

Dinesh

Hi Dinesh:

Rules of Thumb pertaining to your query:

1. A debilitated planet with retrograde motion is equal to

exaltation whereas an exalted planet in retrograde motion become

equal to debilitation.

2. Mars and Saturn, malefic in their retrograde motion, do good to

the native where as Mercury, Jupiter and Venus lose potency in their

retrograde motion.

3. In general, Retrograde Saturn creates some problems all over the

body, nervous disorders, defects in lungs, gout, paralysis, epilepsy

etc. But we will have to study this in detail in your chart.

4. In practice, retrograde planets generally seem to affect the

mental plane more than the physical plane.

5. More than three planets in retrograde motion in the birth chart

is considered quite dangerous to the native, at times leading to

explosive situations in life.

6. Superior planets, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde when

they are in signs opposite to the Sun, in other words, when they are

just ahead of the earth and we are trying to catch up with them

until such time when they are a bit behind the earth in the ever

going orbital race. The remaining time they are in direct motion.

----

In your case:

Saturn Retrograde in Aries makes the debiliated malefic function

more or less like an exalted and will do good (finances, health,

father/luck/travel)

What is the position (in terms of degrees) of Saturn in your Natal?

Is it between 0 and 3 degrees. If so it becomes a Vargottama and

ARIES becomes the best sign for your Saturn.

Regards.

Hi,

I would like to ask :

1. Suppose Saturn is in Libra (exalted) in 6th house for tauras asc

and Retrograde.

Now exalted + evil house (6th house) + retrograde => what results are

expected ? Also note that 9th and 10th lord ie saturn is conjoined in

6th house (will this mean Dharama Kendrapati yoga)

Also note that lord of asc (Venus) is present in asc itself along

with mercury which is 2nd lord and chart is described below :
