Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have a doubt regarding casting one chart. I know little of western astrology also. I want to cast chart of some one with birth date -> 24 Oct 1976 and time -> night 12:20 (midnight) place-> mathura, new delhi, india Now when I cast this chart, I get ascendent as CANCER. I have always seen that asc is as per western astrology as as to say:- 1.Aries ie. between date MAR 21 - APR 20 => aries asc as per vedic 2.Tauras ie. between APR 21 - MAY 21 => tauras asc as per vedic 3.Gemini ie between MAY 22 - JUN 21 => Gemini asc as per vedic and so on. SO why is this chart giving me cancer asc when it should be scorpio. Please confirm if my analysis is wrong. Does chart casting as per vedic has some rules of month for ascendent. Please comment on this. Regards SOnu
Guest guest
Hi, What the dates mention by you are showing, is western sign of Sun, not Ascendant. It means Sun is in Scorpio on 24 october. But Ascendant can be any of the twelve signs, depending on time of day. Every Ascendant lasts (not exactly, some are rising slow and some are rising fast) about two hours of a day. - delhi_tagore Friday, December 26, 2003 7:18 AM Doubt in asc- to tanvir, sanjay and others Hi everyone,I have a doubt regarding casting one chart. Guest guest
hi, namaste. LAGNA: it is the rashi in the eastern horizon at any time. My lagna is virgo it means that on the time of my birth virgo sign was there in the east horizon. this keeps same for roughly 2 hrs. SUN SIGN: In western system the sun-sign/ "your sign" is the sign where sun was placed on ur birth time. Sun stays in a sign for about a month and so the sun sign is same for about a month. so sun sign and asc is totally different matters. What can not happen, can never happen.Which is mine, is forever mine.
