Time of Marriage Time of marriage is a very big chapter in astrology.

There are some rules present but complete analysis is necessary with the help

of a good astrologer.

1. Earlier marriages such as the marriage in between the age of 19 to 24 occurs

when the natal jupiter aspect either the 7th house or the lord of the 7th house

or aspecting the Venus (Kalathira karaka) or the lord of the second house by its

aspects such as 5th and 9th of JUpiter.

2. When the Venus is dignified enough such as dominal and exalted strength the

earlier marriage occurs.

3. When the Venus is at ascendant, fifth house and in the Upachaya stanas early marriages occur.

4. After the age of say 20, if the dasa of the lord of the 7th house, dasa of

Venus (for men), dasa or antar dasa of the planets residing or aspecting the

7th house or aspecting the lord of the 7th house the marriage occurs.

5. When Jupiter transits to the 2nd, 5th, 7th,.9th and 11th houses either to

ascendant or to the Moon sign.

6. When guru meets the natal lord of the 7th house or natal venus by transit marriage can occur.

7. People having the parivarthana of Jupiter and Venus get married earlier.

8. The placement of the lord of the 7th house in the first house another factor

brings earlier marriage.

9. When the 7th house or its lord aspected by both the Venus and Jupiter, the

marriage occurs very early for the boy with a very beautiful girl.

Just these are the few points to check with it. But there are Dosas such as Kala

sarpa dosa, putra dosa, Kalathira dosa, Sarpa Dosa, Mangalya Dosa, Kuja Dosa etc

delay the marrige too much. There are other factors too delay the marriage.

Sometimes other than the horoscopical things due to social prestige the

marriage does not occur in time since the parents go on search the match and so

on.
