Moon's Moves to 5 Degrees Aries.... Today

 

And Full Moon, tomorrow!!

 

Also, Eclipse!

 

 

 

Friday, November 7th..

 

 

Dear Friends:

 

 

 

The Moon has moved to 5 degrees Aries, today,

at 9 am, Friday, 11/7th.....

CST....

 

The Moon moves into Aries today and I was thinking

how interesting it is that every month the Moon returns

to the beginning of the Zodiac.

 

And it's like contained in the First Sign is the beginning

of a whole New Monthly episode of fresh, new beginnings.

 

So, today, see if you feel a 'newness' going on somewhere,

 

a desire to start anew, or the enthuiasm to continue

with your 'old' projects with a strange kind of newness.

 

Moon in Aries is also a very outgoing energy full of vim and verve

so enjoy a very dynamic, active day.

 

Especially because the Moon is so big, lots of nature support for

all kinds and maners of projects.

 

Other times of the Month, when the Moon is not so big when the

Moon's transiting Aries, would not be greated with such success.

 

So, go for it!

 

 

Moon will be colliding with Rahu, which is also in Aries, in 2 days...

but for right now, it should be a smoother kind of day....

Saturday's the Full Moon....

 

7pm Saturday evening....

and also an Eclipse!

 

Full Moons are always such an exciting and 'benefic'

time in Jyotish.

 

Representing the Fullness of Life...

 

Fullness of Heart....

 

and Fulfillment of Life....

 

However, Jyotish, warns us about Eclipses....

 

Eclipses, are related always to Rahu and Ketu

which are called 'shadowy planets' not of substance,

but Mathemathical points in space..

 

that have been found to have certain effects.

 

Rahu and Ketu are described in 'Rakshasha' terms,

'devilish', and as such represent bringing harm and

grief to life....

 

Rahu & Ketu, traditionally, represent attacks especially

upon the Luminaries, ie. the Sun and Moon....

 

Rahu & Ketu are often described as 'enemies' of the Sun

and Moon.

 

So, on the Eclipses, when 'literally', or at least in appearance,

the Sun and or Moon....

are found being 'eclipsed'...

there is an inner, or emotional quality of being devoured...

by something....

 

Over the last few Eclipses as I watched how I felt and though they were Full

Moons, and though normally, I feel quite grand especially in terms of my

Moon or emotions, feeling full;

this time, I noticed quite an acheing in the heart.

 

And realized personally, why Jyotish says this is an Inauspicious Time.

 

So, like all Malefic moments...

we can gain from the warning...

 

and especially if we start to feel like that 'malefic' moment

we can take solace in the fact that it's been predicted...

and is in fact only going to be of a short duration.

 

See, if you notice a strange kind of 'feeling' especially since

the feelings are usually so wonderful around the Full Moon!

 

 

 

Saturn & Jupiter...

 

Are Still very close together....

 

So, if you're feeling a kind of wanting to go ahead..

and a simultaneous....feeling of being held back.....

 

that may be due to Saturn's 3rd House Aspect....

 

So, take this as a Saturn, Symbolic Moment....

 

and adjust differently then how you'd normally re-act

to this frustration, delaying quality...

 

 

 

Transformations of the Self!

 

 

Lately I've been feeling that we need to talk even more

about how we can prepare for the good transits,

as well as the malefic moments.

 

Once we've started to see patterns and predictable cycles of positive and

negative moments...I think there is a tendency

to settle into these as if they're Reality!

 

But, there is another very important part of Jyotish, of Life,

which I like to call....

Transformative....Jyotish...

which has to do with literally transforming or even,

transcending, especially, the 'negative' or 'malefic' effects.

 

One famous Indian, Yogi, and Vedic Seer was Swami

Yogananda who in his book Autobiography of a Yogi...

had a fascinating conversation with one of his students.

 

The student was asking about the importance of Jyotish Astrology and

Yogananda was saying Jyotish had some relevance.....but....

he said he should be especially careful not to get fatalistic

about life or feel dis-empowered because the stars are going

to be doing .....this or that..

 

He said:

"Find me the worse day of the year, according to my chart,

and I will accomplish anything on that day!"

 

And I absolutely loved that quote because to me, it really

expresses both the limitations of Astrology and also the vast,

superiority of Consciousness....

which after all, already exists way beyond....the Stars!

 

In the next few weeks...we'll talk much more about how

we can use our 'Consciousness'....

to buffer ourselves against the negative aspects of the Stars...

and even literally....transcend them...

 

to find ourSelves....deeply embedded...

in the Self of the Universe.....

 

which, after all, was the source of the Stars!

 

 

 

 

Embrace the Self!
