Hi All,

Please clarify my doubt on exalted and delibited planets in

horroscope.

*EXALTED*

Suppose a planet is present in the sign which makes it exalted but

- the degree is less that the expected then still the planet be

exalted and what shall be results

- the degree is more that the expected then still the planet be

exalted and what shall be results

Eg:- for Tauras Lagna :

- SUN is exalted in Aries (12th house for tauras lagna) with sun

degree as 10 but suppose SUN is present in aries sign with degree as11

(which is more than expected)

- SATURN is exalted in Libra (6th house for tauras lagna) with degree

as 20 but suppose it is present with degree 7th(which is less than

expected)

*DEBILITED*

Suppose a planet is present in the sign which makes it delibited but

- the degree is less that the expected then still the planet be

delibited and what shall be results

- the degree is more that the expected then still the planet be

delibited and what shall be results

Eg:for Cancer Lagna :

-SUN is delibited in Libra sign (4th house for cancer) with degree 10

but suppose it is present with 6.55 (which is less than expected)

-MOON is delibited in scorpio sign (5th house for cancer) with 3

degree but suppose it is present with 20(which is more than expected)

the degree which is mentioned in the case of an exalted / fallen planet is the

degree of the highest level of the condition.

Example - Libra 20 degree is the highest point of exaltation of Sat and Sat will

be most powerfully exalted at that point. After entering Libra, Sat is exalted

but as it will move close to 20th degree, as strong it will become. at 20th

degree it is most strong. then after crossing 20th degree it is not as strong,

but still enough strong to be exalted.

This is what is told theoritically.

But in practical the whole sign is the exaltation [unless Merc] and the degree

really does not matter unless 0-3 degree and 27-29.59 degree. [in those degrees

planets are weak.] Well rather than thse deep exaltation the navamsha placement

should be seen I think.
