We have to analyse the dignity of Jupiter because he is the

dhanakaraka. Also there is another planet that also somehow gives the wealth

that is Venus. So among the benefic planets primarily Jupiter and secondarily

Venus are responsible for the wealth of the person. So Jupiter should not

be placed in the 6th, 8th and 12th houses from the ascendant. Also, Jupiter

should not be placed in Bhataka sthana. If so whatever may be the income the

native is usually unable to save the money for the future. In some cases the

retrograde nature of Jupiter, combustion of Jupiter too harms the native's

wealth owing to the presence of a lot of expense on hius way.

If we consider the presence any planet in the retrograde nature damages

the wealth of the person in general.

Usually the dignified Jupiter, Venus, and the dignified lord of the second

house, in the 4th, 9th, 10th and 11th houses poures a lot of wealth to the

native.

Why the second lord is given importance is because even when the native

becomes ill by health, the second house is the one gives the money to spend to

come out of the diease. When the lord of the lord of the second house is in

parivarthana between the lords of the 6th, 8th and 12th houses the native feels

he is getting a lot of wealth, but the native will be unable to save at all.

Another kind of wealth is that vehicle comfort, home, degree like

educations are due to the fourth house. The dignity of Mars and the fourth

house can tell about the own house whereas the dignity of Venus and the fourth

house can inform us the vehicle comforts to the native such as Cars, Scooters,

cycles etc. Moon and the fourth together can tell about the mother. Mercury and

the dignity of the fourth house can allows us to predict the basic education

education of the native.

The conjunction of the Moon and the lord of the fourth house in the

ascendant or the conjunction of the Venus and the lord of the fourth house in

the ascendant or either Venus or the Moon with benefic planets in the second or

fourth house renders the antive the vehicle comfort. Parivarthana of the lord of

the fourth and the tenth house or the parivarthana of the eleventh and tenth

houses brings the vehicle comfort to the native after getting the job.

The dignified Mars when aspects the fourth house the native enjoys his own

home. The dignified fourth house if has the relation with the lord of the second

house it fetches the house to the native. Hence the fourth house also accounts

for the wealth of the native.

The above poem or sloka mentions that the lord of the 9th house if placed in the

house of Jupiter (Sagittarius or Pisces) or placed in between two benefic

planets, the nattive is blessed with a lot of wealth. We can see a lot of real

estate people have this type of arrangement in their natal chart.

Another Tamil Poet named Pullipani mentions that if the lord of the

twlefth house if placed in the second the native may build a house, and live

happily a family life. It means that the lord of the twelfth house is not bad

for the wealth in the second house.

If Jupiter and Venus bring much wealth, than why is the person who has the

birth chart I submitted a couple days ago in my "to go bankrupt or not to go

bankrupt" email nearly broke? He has Jupiter in Pisces in the 9th conjunct

exalted Venus. What's more, he has never earned much money. I've included the

contents of that email below for your review.

Regards,

Joe

------------------

I'm just learning Jyotish and looking at a near and dear ones chart. Birth

data:

Feb. 8, 1964

3h19m24s PM

Time Zone 5

Long. 75.39.46 West

Lat. 41.24.32 North

Cancer lagna presently in Mo/Ke/Ra, actually changing to Mo/Ke/Ju today. The

Mo/Ke period has been very difficult for this person both emotionally and

financially as Moon Lord of first is in 6th Bhava conjunct Ketu. It's apparent

that there are some good things going on: Guru in own and Venus exalted in 9th;

Saturn moolatrikona in 8th; Mars exalted with Sun and Mercury in 7th. But

career is a concern for this individual just now as is serious debt.

There seems to be good potential here for both career and finances, but the

native is having financial difficulties and personal bankruptcy is possible

soon. He is anguishing over whether to go bankrupt or to hang on in the hope

that he will somehow pull himself out of debt.

I'm just not knowledgeable enough to answer his question. I can see where the

financial and emotional problems are coming from (Mo/Ke) but this person seems

to have too much luck to actually go bankrupt, or for that matter to be in such

financial difficulties. After all the Lord of the 6th is in its own sign in

the 9th. He's concerned that the stigma of bankruptcy will follow him the rest

of his life. He is in great turmoil over the not knowing part.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide me with this

prediction.
