Aum Namah Shivaya; Thank You Neeraj Gupta

Jagannatha Hora is truly a wonderfully remarkable gift! Bless You.

I became overwhelmed after the download, and entered data into the program

seeing something I had been looking for nearly thirty years.

Many years ago in San Francisco I came into possession as a gift from an

esoteric junky like myself, a collection of Jyotish Books. One of them was a

1930 second edition set of "The SwarvathaChintamani" Translated and edited by

Suryanandan Rao. I read this festidiously, doing the calculations, and didn't

have a clue or reference for the amsas, sanskrit terms, mandi, gulika, etc. Nor

at that time were their learned people like yourself to assist. Aum. These books

are far away from me in storage now.

Still now I have another mountain to climb. I'm not sure I like the A2,

Ketu, AL Tenth Bhava in the Rasi. Though, it explains a great deal, and quickly

I see D-10, Ju, A10, UL, A6, and I am very much at home in a Law Library,

studied Law courses, etc. Should've been. Whah! I have to go for a walk. This is

really GREAT! Please feel free to ask or share information with me. Much

Gratitude. Namaste, Sidereal Bob.

~ Om Namah Shivaya ~

Dear Bob,

You are always welcome.

We all are students here and on the path of learning.

I am glad that it was of help to you. You might would

aslo like to buy book by Shri PVR Ji, Vedic Astrology

An Integrated Book. This is the BEST book, I had seen

on vedic astrology. It has almost all the concepts,

dashas, transit analaysis etc.

May be you can get this book from some website. You

can find most of your answers in this book. Astrology

was never clear to me, until I bought this book,

though I possessed many books prior to this. It starts

and explains in a very simple language.

Best Regards,

Neeraj Gupta

Ganesha Sara Nam; Dear Friend Neeraj Gupta

Could you please post the publisher, phone or address, or Bookstore same

that I might place a mail order for the Book?

  Reflections:

Also, the term Arudhas (risen ones), with the 12th house connection relating

to the local horizon seems to intimate origins in antiquity of heliacal and

acronycal risings and settings phenomena. Calling to mind Cyril Fagan's thesis

for the hypsomata, the exaltations occuring in the year 786 B.C. Babylon

published in 1949 "Zodiacs Old & New."

The first appearence of the God of Light was considered Auspicious and

reckoned a rebirth spiritually and seasonally for agricultural societies.

I sense there is some relevent correlary with this system and natural

phenomena from which we could glean how the padas work in practical terms.

Thanks again, appreciate your comments. Namaste, Sidereal Bob
