Effect of a planet which is both exalted and combusted.

Dear tanvir,

 

What is the effect of the planet which is both exalted and combusted. for

example in my case Mars is exalted in capricon and also combusted in the 9th

house. He is the lord of my 7th house and also 12th house. My ascendant sign is

taurus.

I think it will be considered combusted.

 

As follow up Question : Is mercury combustion damages the significations of it

and also if Mercury is lagna lord what happens to it? Thanks

Combustion to Mercury will harm it to some extent. However the concept of

combustion is a principle away from the particular nature of planets. It is

based on the fixed nature of planets that sun burns any other planets. But if

Sun is a very benefic he will not do much harm. I guess a serious trouble can

not be caused only by combustion - esp. merc is pretty 'used to' combustion :-)
