How can one predict whether a person is generous and charitable? Kind Hearted

and so on?

I think benefic influene / conjunction to the 12th lord will show charities and

other kinds of expenditure. Also there are yogas for it. Kind heartness will be

effect of diff planets (depends) in asc and lord -I guess other members would be

able to ans better on this.

Hello,

 

I think Generous/Kind hearted is similar but

Charitable is different type of characteristic.

 

In my opinion Sun and Jupiter play major role in such

matter. Person having strong Sun, have tendency to

acquire things. They are generally self centered

person and rarely think for others. Naturally reverse

has according effect. Person having Sun in Libra can

easily give up things and having attitude to

understand others.

 

Jupiter is representative of all good karmas or

'Dharma' (which we call 'Shubh') but here strongness

of Jupiter is less important. If you see chart of

people with Jupiter in Cancer you will get surprises.

Jupiter's connection with Moon and/or with Sun and/or

with Asc. is more relevent, especially if Jupiter is

in fire sign. Frankly speaking I don't have any theory

for this, this is my observation only.

 

12th house is natural place for expenditure so its

logical when Jupiter or Moon associates with 12th,

also boost expenditure in charity etc.

 

Again, kindness and charity are totally different

issues if you find any chart with Jupiter in 12th and

very strong Sun (any other house), you will find

interesting contradictions.

 

In addition to this other planet's relation with Moon,

1st and 4th house also take part.

If I understand you correct, If jupiter or any benefic like moon , aspecting asc

or asc lord, then the person will be generous. And the person ofcourse should

have spending tendencies like 2nd lord in 12th. then the person will have

tendencies to spend in donations , charity. Right?

The holy ninth house and its lord can decide very much whether the native can do

charity. As well there should be source of income hence for that second and

tenth house can give a opening. Overall teh person having afflicted ninth house

andits lord may not give anything charity.
