Guest guest
Thanks for the comments :-) I had to sign up for this new site because my astrology site was running out of data tarnsfer for the no. of visitors! (...!!!!!!) In the last weak 2 days my site was unavailable because it was exceeded it's allocated data transfer :-))))))) I am thinking of signing up another account for the 'article' section since I will want to write some more articles... I think saturn in 2nd indicates second marriage and that can be like keeping your wife and marrying again then keeping both wives!!! I would absolutely hate a career in service :-( Even from my boyhood I am irregular in "daily school life" and till today it continues and for that reason I guess I will not have to do office under anyone (service = regularly going to office everyday 9-5 o'clock) and will have a career of freedom! 11L afflicted while 8L excessively strong in 5th indicates I will earn most of the things with no/very less labour... that is again against of going to office everyday... I would hate going to office... rather work in home like independant artitect, consultancy, business... where I can choose when to go and when to get back etc :-) Regards Tanvir What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. Guest guest
Actually I have always had problems with my internet connection. So, normally when I can't visit a particular website, I look for alternative addresses. I still can't reach it. Hopefully with another connection I'll be able to do that. Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Hey, there might be a firewall, if you are working in office or some other public place. Try opening it from some different location. The URL is absolutely ok...here is the copy paste version of Tanvir's Sample analysis. I had saved it on my computer, so that I can learn from it. **************** Life of Tanvir Chowdhury - past, present and future ASTROLOGICAL BIOGRAPHY OF TANVIR CHOWDHURY Index Introduction >> The Astrological chart >> A special note >> Nature >> Health >> Suffering from pimples >> Talking style >> Partaking of foods >> Clothing >> Sleeping >> Family >> Mother >> Father >> Siblings >> Relationships and marital life >> Possible timing of marriage >> Formal education >> Occult and spiritual knowledge >> Recitation of the Quran, and Mantras >> Writings >> Finance >> Inheritance of wealth >> Success in career >> Loneliness >> Longevity >> Death of Children >> Flow of future life >> Summary >> Introduction According to Vedic Astrology principle, the planetary position right at the time of one's birth shows the whole life of him. His physical appearance, nature, character, talents, parents, family, friends, spouse, children... and even his status, position, power, happiness, grief - everything. This is because the reason that the planets are like the police division of the universe. Just like police team is the Law enforcement authority of a Government, planets are the 'Karmic enforcement authority' i.e., they impose the result of our past karma [actions we performed] on us. These days many people do not believe in astrology and think it as a superstition. But this is interesting that, throughout the history, almost all the wise men and scientists have practiced and adored this and called this as a science. Hippocrates [Father of medicine] used to practice astrology and used to say that to be a good doctor, one must also know astrology, otherwise it disqualifies him. Called to be the most brilliant scientist of the history, Albert Einstein was also devoted to astrology, so was Newton, Jung, Shakespeare, Bacon, Keats and many more. When Newton was teased by astronomer Edmond Halley [1656-1742] about astrology, his simple reply was, "Sir Halley, the difference is that, I have studied this science, but you have not!" [Meaning - I know about it, but you do not.] Even in the old days the leading wise men like Aristotle, Plato, Ptolemy, Pythagoras and many more practiced and developed astrology on their way of journey. Anyway, even after forgetting all these, when I study astrology, I find it to be absolutely true in every single steps of lives. All the charts I have seen including my family members, friends and others, prove astrology to be true. When I am regular in practice, I see 4/5 charts everyday. And I just see that all the people are doing and facing all the things what they are supposed to do and face in their lives. It never happens that the astrological chart tells something and the person says otherwise. According to history, Vedic Astrology is the oldest of all astrological systems. It has been believed that sages were taught Vedic Astrology by the Gods and anyone who will study Vedic Astrology even a little would feel how much true it is, since anyone will understand that the unique system of Vedic Astrology can not be discovered, invented or found by any research or anything else. All the planets are moving keeping the sun as the centre. On the other hand, when we draw a Vedic chart, we keep the earth as the centre other planets and stars surrounding the earth, i.e. us. Vedic Astrology does not use the planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. It uses Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the two nodes of Moon [i.e., Rahu and Ketu.] Sun and moon are called, 'Planets' in general sense. The Astrological chart He was born on 24th December 1982, at 12:30 AM in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This means that the co-ordinates of the place are 90E25, 23N43, and the time zone is GMT+6. As per standard Vedic system [sidereal zodiac, Lahiri Ayanamsa] the ascendant is on 15 degrees 25 minutes Virgo. A special note This analysis is made by only Rashi chart or 'D1', which is the actual position of the planets in the sky at the time of birth. It can not do much deep rather tells the outline of events and rules, 'Overall life'. Whatever happens around us, impacts our overall life more or less, so it tells it only upto that level. To look deeper and deeper, many other 'D-charts' / 'Divisional charts' are made, which are made dividing a sign/rashi into different parts, for the sake of accuracy. Like when you divide a 30 degree sign into 10 parts, only 3 degree in each part, it tells about the career, profession, work place, rise or fall in status etc. It is called the D-10 chart. Dividing a sign into 9 parts [D9 chart] tells us about appearance, nature etc. of the wife and marriage itself and related matters. Similarly D-12 [2.5 degrees each part] tells everything related to parents. Thus, a sign is divided into even into 144 parts and more than 20 D-charts can be made to look into the exact effect/happening! Also, there is a point of judgement of 'Self' which is Ascendant or 'Lagna'. The sign rises in the east is considered the general asc. It works fine. But there are a lot of other lagnas like Hora Lagna, Ghati Lagna, Bhava Lagna, Pada Lagna etc. They all have different uses like Hora Lagna for wealth, Ghati Lagna for power and position etc. But even then, the general lagna works fine for all general matters since anything that happens affects 'general self'. Different D-charts and different ascendants and also different phases/periods of time [Dashas] to see when what is going to happen. There are so many kind of Dashas liek Vimsottari Dasha, Narayana Dasha, Kaala Chakra Dasha, Sudasha, Shoola Dasha, Moola Dasha etc. - all for different purposes. But Vimsottari alone can timeline events pretty well. All these are really the treasures from the deepest of Vedic Astrology using which, the most details of complicated areas of a human life can be predicted. Only a few astrologers these days are able to use them, but even then they do not use it all because it will be so much of time and labour and astrologers are not well paid for this! But most of the astrologers these days use only the rashi chart [No other D-charts] and only Vimsottari Dasha with no other dasha or ascendants, because it needs so much knowledge, research and insight to use them. And most of the so called astrologers can not even do THIS and cheat on people by their cunning brain and puts bad name to the 'Science of Light' - Jyotish. In this analysis only D1 [Rashi chart] and Vimsottari Dasha is used since of my limited knowledge of a student right now. So this can only show the stream and not exactly what will happen. This will show the basic effect overall. Nature The 'Ascendant' is the sign which was in the East horizon at the time of birth. This sign is of the prime importance. It is considered the 'First house' in a chart and the ascendant and it's lord/ruler [And other influences on them] show the nature, character, physical appearance and over all life of the native. Here the ascendant is in Virgo who's lord is Mercury. The positive qualities of Virgos include that they are charming and of pleasant personality. It's lord Mercury is a childish planet, so the native will have childishness in him. He will be funny, talkative, playful. With the ascendant lord Mercury being in 4th, many of the positive qualities of a Virgo will be there. The Asc. lord Mercury is in 4th house in Sagittarius. 4th house rules mother, home, family life. Since Asc. lord rules overall life, the native will pay his attention to all the things related to 4th house. Means - mother, home, family will be the most important things to him. In 4th house, the Asc. lord Mercury joins Venus, Sun and Ketu. He is also 'Aspected by' [seen by] Saturn, Rahu and Moon. So the qualities of these planets will have clear effect on his nature and life. Among all these planets, Mercury is under direct influence of Venus, Sun and Ketu since Mercury is 'with' them. Since Saturn, Rahu and Moon only aspect Mercury, they give secondary influence. Again, among Venus, Sun and Ketu, Venus is the most powerful, for it's directional strength in 4th house. So we can say that the quality of Venus and Mercury will be mostly felt in his personality and nature. I have already told about Mercury before. He is childish, skilled in speech and argument, and funny and joyful in nature. On the native, the influence of Venus will be felt very powerfully. Since Venus is with Asc. lord Mercury and very strong in the chart. Venus rules love, passion, romance and a strong Venus with Asc. lord makes a native romantic, charming etc. Mercury is a great friend of Venus, so he will be easily influenced and motivated by Venus. [Again, Mercury is a child planet and it has been said that he receives the qualities of the planet he joins, just like a child follows the elder people surrounding him.] Further, they both are aspected by Moon and since Moon is the planet of emotion and mind, the native will be very emotional in nature. He will be also of good behaviour and pleasing personality for the influence of Moon, Mercury and Venus. For the influence of Venus and Moon on Mercury, he will be fond of art, music, creative things. This is found true since even from boyhood he used to draw and write pretty well. He will somehow be dominating [sun is there]. He will sometimes like loneliness, like to pass time alone. This is for Ketu is there with the Asc. lord, who is a planet if loneliness and non-attachment. Ketu also gives spirituality. Again, a very powerful Saturn aspect this from the 2nd house which confirms this nature since Saturn also rule loneliness. Saturn is the 6th lord which rules bad temper, argument and clash. So, Saturn's aspect on Asc. lord joining Sun would make him easily involved in arguments sometimes. The native is said to be over philosophical. [Powerful Saturn aspecting Asc. lord.] A powerful Saturn afflicted by other malefic [bad] planets would make one greedy, selfish, lazy. But since this Saturn is exalted, he will be rather honest, kind to the poor etc. He will be easily influenced by other people's pains. Saturn tries to make him hard working but the powerful Venus with asc. lord makes him comfort-loving. Since Venus does not like to work, and likes to pass time through comfort, fun and enjoyment. This Venus afflicted by malefics makes him too much 'comfort-loving' i.e., very lazy. Mars is the planet of violation, courage, aggression, revenge etc. who is exalted in the chart. So at first glance he seems to be courageous, fond of violation and revenge. But is this true? No. Why? Because this Mars is aspected by Jupiter from 3rd house. Jupiter is the most religious and virtuous planet, and he cools Mars down here. This is again confirmed when the Mars also aspects Jupiter, so it's a mutual exchange of aspects. The 3rd house [Where Jupiter is] is the house of courage, and in theory it is said that a good planet in 3rd house makes the person peace loving or coward. So, the exalted Mars' aggression is cooled down for the exchange of aspect with Jupiter, who is also in the 3rd house. Also, Mars does not aspect the Asc./it's lord that is why it's effect on nature will be minimal. On the other hand it will say much about native's children [5th house]. For an exalted Saturn in 2nd house of eyes and viewing, he will have a good observation power. Health For health the Asc. lord and the natural significator Sun have to be seen. Here the asc. lord Mercury is severely afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, Sun and Saturn. Among them Sun rules losses and Saturn rules diseases and ill health for the native. So the influence will not be good for health. On the other hand Sun is directionally weak in 4th house. Considering all these, we can say that his health will be weak. However, he will not suffer from much diseases for Saturn [The planet ruling diseases here] is exalted. But, for the affliction on Asc. lord Mercury and weak Sun, he will have less physical strength. Suffering from pimples For the mouth and face we see the 2nd house. In the 2nd house there is a very strong Saturn, who is the 6th lord. 6th lord rules diseases and also wounds, infections etc. So there are possibilities of having wounds and infection in the face. [Pimple is one kind of infection in medical view.] Again, Mercury, who rules skin, is afflicted badly, which confirms problems with skin. That is why, native suffers from pimples in the face. Talking style Mercury is the natural significator for speech. He is the Asc. lord here, and Asc. lord rules nature and life. Since Asc. lord joins powerful Venus, he will have pleasant talking style. He will talk in a childish manner [Mercury] and in a charming and enjoyable way [strong Venus]. Again, the 2nd house has to be seen for speech, where there is a Saturn. Saturn in 2nd house if afflicted, can make someone use mean words and slang words, talking in dirty way. But since this Saturn is very well placed, he will not use such slang words. Rather he will talk like elder people than his age. [saturn is an old planet.] Which is seen true even from his early ages since he was seen to use tough and formal words in his everyday life. Saturn rules the 5th house of knowledge, means he will talk like a knowledgeable person. Saturn also rules the 6th house of clash, debate, argument. So he will easily be involved in debate and argument through his speech. This is confirmed when the significator of speech and debate [Mercury] is influenced by Rahu, Ketu, Sun, Saturn etc. Again, he will sometimes hurt others by his speech. [saturn is a cruel planet.] He will often be suddenly too harsh in his speech. Partaking of foods It is known to all his family and relatives that he does not like to eat much vegetable and fruits. He eats almost no veg. and fruits. His diet is very limited. Why so? Because for foods, we see the 2nd house. In the 2nd house there is Saturn, who is conservative in nature. So, the person is 'conservative' about foods. Also, Saturn is the 6th lord here, who also rules hunger. So, hunger in the house of foods = not good for foods. That is why, most of the times he is so irregular in eating. Many of the days he misses any of his breakfast, lunch, or supper... sometimes even 2 of them! Though, the lord of the 2nd [Venus] helps here a lot by being strong in 4th. Even then, Venus is afflicted badly. Clothing For clothing, ornaments etc., we again see the 2nd house. Here the 2nd lord is Venus, who joins Sun, Mercury and Ketu. Venus is the planet of luxury, so he will be fond of nice clothes. But, since 2nd house has Saturn, an unsmart and mean planet, he will be very casual and unsmart in clothing. 2nd house also stands for jewelry, stones etc. where there is exalted Saturn. That is why, for about 2.5 years, he was wearing a blue sapphire - the stone of Saturn! Sleeping For sleep, we see the 12th house and lord. 12th house lords over sleep, dreams, bed, bedroom and bed pleasures. In this case, the 12th lord is Sun, who is in friendly conjunction with Asc. lord Mercury [life, self]. Again, the planet Venus [Enjoyment] joins there. So, the native will find enjoyment in sleeping - will like to sleep and sleep a lot. But that is not all. 12th lord Sun is weak and afflicted there by Rahu, Ketu and Saturn. So, he will have problems with sleeping. Like insomnia or any other sleeping disorders. This is found true that in his life, since 1999 he started to face sleeping disorder, awaking all the night and sleeping all the day! Most interesting, he was running the Sun period in 1999. Sun is the 12th lord ruling sleep so when he is disturbed very much, he gave trouble with sleep starting from his period. Which is again found to be very much true. Rahu is the greatest enemy of Sun. Sun is the King among all the planets, whereas Rahu can be compared to the leader of the criminal gangs. In the chart, Rahu aspects the Sun; i.e., the criminal leader attacks the King! Rahu also rules witches, ghosts etc. So since he aspects the 12th lord [sleep] being very inimical, he might cause ghost dreams, scary dreams sometimes. This is exactly true that in the starting of Rahu period since Nov 2002, the native used to see ghost dreams regularly! Family For family life, we see the 4th house. 4th house is over crowded with four planets - Sun, Mercury, Venus and Ketu. Though Mercury is friendly to Sun and Venus, but Venus is inimical to Ketu and Sun. Again, Ketu does not like Mercury so much, and is separative in nature. And Ketu and Sun is malefic for him already. For this friend-enemy hotchpotch is aspected by Saturn [separation] and Rahu [Another bad planet], native's family life will be very badly disturbed always. He will not be able to lead a happy family life in general. Note that Venus is the most auspicious planet for Virgo natives. He is the planet of love. In this chart he is in the 4th house of family. So, Venus periods will always make him have a peaceful family environment. In his early life he will run Mercury and Ketu Maha Dashas, ages 10-34, and his family life will be more or less disturbed, since Mercury and Ketu both are in 4th house [Family] and afflicted by malefics. But after age 34, Venus Maha Dasha will begin and run till 54 years. Since Venus is the first rate benefic for him, this whole 20 years he will live a stable and overall happy family life. But before of age 34, his family life will be more or less troubled now and then. Mother 4th house also solely rules mother. With all the disturbing 4 planets there, the native will not be much happy from his mother. But again, for the great blessings of powerful Venus, his mother will be very loving and caring. [Venus is planet of love and is loving. It is strong here.] But the malefic influence of Rahu, Ketu, Saturn and Sun will disturb happiness from mother. For the influence of Ketu, Saturn and Sun, he will live away from his mother most of the times. His 4th lord is Jupiter, who is religious in nature and well placed in this chart. Jupiter is well placed in 3rd house of writing, so his mother might have good writing power, which is very much true here. The 3rd house is the 12th house from the 4th house. So the 4th lord Jupiter goes to 12th house from his own house. 12th house stands for deep religious feelings, foreign life, expenditure etc. So his mothers religious inclination is confirmed. [Jupiter himself is also religious.] But since the 3rd house is a 'Fixed sign' here, she does not live in foreign. [Lives 'fixed' to her own place, means no foreign living.] However, she faces heavy expenditure and that matches as per seen in the chart. In the past in native's life, he was separated from his mother when he ran Ketu's period in his life in end of 1994. Because Ketu rules separation and is in the 4th house of mother and also aspected by Saturn, another separative planet. But in the 4th house there is the most auspicious Venus with great strength. So when Venus period came next in 1998, he was again reunited with his mother. The natural ruler of Mother, Moon, is afflicted in this chart, which is another cause to make him less happy about mother. Again, for the great benefics Mercury and Venus being in 4th house, he has great feelings for his mother. Asc. lord in 4th house, house of mother, confirms that mother is very important to him. He loves his mother most. Father We see the 10th house for the father. The native's 10th house is occupied by Rahu, the most mean and worst planet. Rahu is cruel, criminal and without any moral nature and virtue. He is found very strong in 10th house. That is why, native will not have a good understanding with his father. They will always have disagreement among them. Again, the 10th lord is Mercury, who is a clever planet. Mercury is in the 4th house. 4th house is the 7th house from 10th house. So, Mercury goes to 7th house from it's own place. 7th house rules business, joint dealings, foreign trips etc. Again, Mercury is a planet of trade, commerce and communication. So, his father is a businessman and has business dealing with foreign countries. In fact, when the native ran Mercury period in his life in 1992, his father was in U.S.A. for more than 6 months for business dealings! [business, foreign trips - all are from 7th house.] Since malefic Rahu is in the 10th house of fathers, Rahu will influence his father's nature with own quality, same time destroying the paternal happiness. In fact, when native started Rahu period in Nov 2002, soon in May 2003 he left his father and father's home for the reason of disagreement [That is, Rahu]. Again, Sun, the natural ruler of father is weak in 4th house, which is another strong indication of lack of paternal happiness. Here note that the 10th lord [Father] is heavily afflicted in 4th house [Mother, family] with the separative influence of Saturn and Ketu. Again, Sun is there who is the 12th lord. 12th house and lord rules losses, again. That is why, separation between parents is indicated that way, and family life [4th house] is disturbed. Siblings For brothers and sisters, 3rd house has to be seen mostly. His 3rd house has Jupiter, who mutually exchanges aspects with Mars. Mars is very strong, and is the 8th lord, who rules death and destruction. He has no siblings of his own. Again, Jupiter is the most kind planet and is well placed here. So, even though Mars did not allow biological siblings, Jupiter gave him very good relation with cousins, with whom he was brought up together from the childhood. In real, Jupiter periods make him happy and helped by the cousins. Relationships and marital life For married life, we have to see the 7th lord, 7th house and Venus. Here the 7th lord is Jupiter, who is well placed in 3rd house. Jupiter is virtuous in nature. Jupiter, the 7th lord, moves to 9th house from his own 7th house. 9th house is for virtue, truth and religion. So, it can be expected that his wife will be of pretty honest / religious nature. 3rd house is the house of 'Initiatives' and Jupiter [7th lord - marriage, love] well placed in 3rd house will make the native take very much successful and good initiatives in relationship and marriage. Again, the planet of initiative [Mars] aspects this Jupiter. Though, Mars being 8th lord, the aspect will not be very positive and spoil some of the marital happiness. However, with Jupiter aspecting Mars in reply, it will be felt less powerful. Seeing Jupiter's placement it seems a very happy married life, but that is not all. Because we have to see Venus, too. Venus here, though strong, is severely afflicted by malefics like Rahu, Ketu, Sun, Saturn, Moon etc. That is why, the 'enjoyment' in love/marriage will always be limited and there will be problems in relationship and marriage. It will not be sound. Another very important thing to consider is, his 7th house has Moon in it. Moon is a malefic for him and afflicted by other planets. So Moon's role here will be negative. Moon in 7th suggests a pretty, soft hearted wife but Moon being afflicted, there will be less marital harmony. Moon is in the star of Saturn, that is why Saturn will influence Moon in her behaviour. Saturn is directly against of marital happiness, since he rules the 6th house. 6th house is the 12th house [loss] to 7th house [Marriage and marital happiness]. So Saturn's role here will be very malefic, and Moon in Saturn's star will behave like Saturn a lot and Moon being in 7th house, it will give all the bad effects in married life. 6th house rules clash, fights so there will be fights and arguments with spouse. Saturn is separative in nature and 6th lord here, and again exalted. He disposits Moon in his star in 7th, so he gains direct control over 7th house - married life. Again he aspects Venus of married life and love. Venus also joins Ketu, another separative planet. So, for all these influence, native will have to live away from his spouse a lot of times. Since there is a powerful Venus with Asc. lord, he will be charming and romantic, fond of arts etc. Powerful Venus can make someone fond of women, and can give high sexual drive. In this case, this will be countered by the conjunction of Ketu and aspect of Saturn, both of them are planets of cold nature and lack in passion and emotion. Still, Ketu is a malefic planet and a planet if hidden nature. So Ketu's conjunction with Venus [Love, sex] might give hidden or secret relationship. If this is true then this will be materialized when the native will run Ketu phase [Period] in his life 2009-2016. Here another thing to mention is that, Ketu is joining Venus, the planet of love and married life. So Ketu will always harm marital life and marital happiness. Maharishi Parasara teaches that any malefic joining Venus would cause loss of wife. This 'loss' can come in the form of death of wife or a marital breakup, at least a great storm in married life. So, it is also possible that in Ketu's period, there will be problem in the native's married life. The great phase [MD / Maha-Dasa] of Ketu is risky for this and this might happen in any suitable AD [Anter-Dasa] under Ketu's MD. Likely in Ketu-Ketu, Ketu-Saturn or Ketu-Moon periods, there might be very serious problem in married life. However, if Ketu's MD is over, there is no such great risk anymore. Then he will run Venus Maha Dasha till 54 years of age which will be good, and then Sun Maha Dasha of 6 years will be okay, too. After then he will age 60 and then his wife might die and he will get into different kind of emotional problems. Possible timing of marriage >From above discussion we see that Saturn, Ketu and Moon are very much negative for native's marital happiness. On the other hand, Jupiter is the 7th lord of marriage and married life, and is well placed. Venus is strong in the chart and benefic for the native, which rules romance and marriage. Since Saturn is in the star of Rahu, he will encounter some of the bad tendencies of Saturn. Saturn is the main villain here for married life, he is disposited in Rahu's star, who will encounter Saturn to some degree. So even being a malefic, Rahu will be positive about married life to some degree. So, Positive for marriage = Jupiter, Venus, Rahu Negative for marriage = Saturn, Ketu, Moon The native is currently running Mercury-Rahu-Venus. [Merc MD > Ra AD > Ve PD] MD is not important for the timing of marriage that much, since it runs for a long time like even for 20 years. Mostly we see AD and under that, PD for the actual timing. Native will end this Rahu AD in June 2004 and start his Jupiter AD from then. Jupiter is extremely positive about marriage and romance, who's AD will run up to September 2006. So marriage or something like marriage is very much likely to happen in the timeframe of June 2004 - Sep 2006. Under the Jupiter AD, he will run Venus PD July 2005 - December 2005, and Rahu PD in May 2006 - Sep 2006. So either in Jun2005-Jan2006 and Apr2006-Sep2006 marriage or something like marriage like engagement / formal finalization of marriage is likely to happen with a very strong possibility. However, After Sep2006, Saturn AD begins and that would be frustrating about married life / relationship, making the native separated from his spouse / lover. There will be also misunderstanding between them and native will face struggle and other difficulties this time. Next in Ketu MD from May 2009, he will have even more difficulty in married life. His marriage might break in between May2009-Oct2009, Apr2011-Dec2011, Apr2014-May2015, with the last period being most damaging. If his first marriage really breaks then he will marry again in Venus MD starting from 2016 where he will be better happy. Education [Formal education] In astrology, the house for 'Formal / Academic education' is separate from 'Knowledge', which we find true in practical life. A person having no academic degrees can be very knowledgeable, on the other hand a person with very high-class degrees might not be knowledgeable in true sense. In astrology, 'Knowledge' is seen from the 5th house and for formal / academic education, the house and lord 4 has to be seen. Since 2nd house and lord rules 'Learning / Process of learning', it also comes the way. Natives 9th lord Venus is very strong in the 4th house - which is very good for academic success. But again, this strong Venus is greatly disturbed by the conjunction of Ketu and Sun and the aspect of Saturn and Rahu. So, the good performance Venus promises are lessened by others. Still, he will do pretty good, since Venus is very powerful. Saturn is found in the 2nd house of 'Learning'. Saturn is always very slow in nature and slows down / delays the matters he influences. So, he will delay or slow down the learning process, i.e., create obstruction in learning process. This is found to be exactly true since the native always sees that he is always behind in studies than his classmates and fellow students - since Saturn slows down the learning process so creates obstruction in the path of his learning. It does not let him learn anything quickly, by obstructing the supply of the necessary materials needed to learn. This Saturn again aspects the 4th house of formal education and slows down the success. But since the 4th lord Jupiter is well placed, and 4th house has powerful Venus, he always does pretty good. But even then, it is the result of hard work right before the exam - since in general Saturn makes him behind in studies all the time. But at last, for Venus and Jupiter, he does pretty good. Saturn is in the star of Rahu, who is another malefic. Since negative and negative always make positive, malefic Rahu disturbs Saturn and so the maleficness of Saturn is disturbed by Rahu to some degree. That is why Rahu disturbs the maleficness of Saturn in studies. So indirectly Rahu makes him do good in studies. That is why, in all the periods of Rahu, Venus and Jupiter native shows brilliancy in studies. The last example was in his Secondary School Exam when he was running Rahu period and got a very good grade. >From Sep 2006, he will start running Saturn AD and his education will be very badly disturbed. It was not end until he will end his Saturn AD in May 2009. In May 2009 he will start running Ke MD and will do better in studies than Saturn AD. Occult and spiritual knowledge Knowledge is ruled by 5th house, whose lord Saturn is exalted [Fully powerful] in 2nd house. 2nd house is also the house of learning. An exalted 5th lord is good knowledge. In this case, furtherly, the 5th house also have an exalted planet [Mars]. So it is very clearly seen that the person will have pretty good knowledge about things. Saturn and Mars [Esp. Mars] are both practical planets so he will have practical knowledge. On the other hand, Saturn also rules occult, astrology, magic, spirituality etc. So, when Saturn is exalted [Very powerful] and also in the 2nd house [Learning], he will have knowledge on these subjects. This is one of the reasons why he is studying astrology. Mars is exalted in native's 5th house. As said, 5th house is the house of knowledge. This knowledge is not a formal knowledge or formal education but is the pure 'Knowledge' a person has. So, Mars will also have to say something about what knowledge this native would have. In the chart, Mars is the 8th lord. 8th house and lord again controls spirituality and occult. So 8th lord exalted in 5th house of knowledge, is again a very clear indication for what he is studying astrology - a spiritual science. It says that he will have a lot of sense and understanding about spirituality. So where Mars is promising spiritual knowledge, the spiritual knowledge is likely to come in the period of Mars. And in fact, his original start of studying astrology was in February 2001 when he was running Mars period in duration of Nov 2000 - Nov 2001 ! Recitation of the Quran, and Mantras In Vedic Astrology, 5th house controls 'Mantras'. Mantras are not black magic as what many people think. But they are verses from the Vedas, which are the base of Hindu Religion. The Vedas are the Scriptures of Hindu followers as Muslims have the Quran, Christians have the Bible etc. So, the 5th house showing mantras actually shows the 'Recitation of lines from Scriptures'. That is why, a Hindu follower recites Mantras, a Muslim recites Quran, a Christian reads Bible - all will have the influence of 5th house's influence in their chart. In natives chart, the 5th house concerned has an exalted planet, the 8th lord of spirituality. The 5th lord is also exalted in the 2nd house of learning. This is a good indication that he will recite / read verses from the Scriptures. And in the Mars AD in 2001, [Who is exalted in 5th house] he started practicing Mantras - a 5th house significant. So, the indication is found true that he practices mantras / verses from the scriptures. For the same reason, in his boyhood, he learnt to read/recite The Quran under the guidance of a Mawlana [Muslim Priest]. He memorized a lot of verses from the Quran and learnt to read it fluently seeing the Arabic text. These both are seen from the 5th house since it rules 'Verses from the Scriptures'. Writings As per Vedic Astrology, writing and writing skills should be seen from 3rd house. Here the 3rd house has a very well placed Jupiter, who is the most benefic planet among all. Jupiter is the most virtuous, kind, and the teacher/advisor in nature. So it generally is good for writing skills. Again, the lord of the 3rd house is Mars, who is exalted in the 5th house, house of knowledge. This is good for writings again. And in Mars period of 2001, he first wrote his 12 page article on astrology, which was appreciated by many. Mars 3rd lord = writing, made him write on spirituality for the first time in it's period, since Mars is the also the 8th lord of spirituality. And being exalted, he is very powerful and promising. Finance Natives finance will be always good. This is because the 2nd lord [Finance] is directionally strong in 4th house. 2nd house has the exalted Saturn, who is both 5th lord and 6th lord. Being 5th lord is a benefic, and being exalted 6th lord he is again benefic for wealth. This is because both the 2nd and 6th houses are houses connected with finance and money matters. So a 6th lord exalted in 2nd house will be very good for finances. For own nature, Saturn being exalted can give huge material gain depending upon the house he is in. [Here money.] But, the 2nd lord Venus, though strong, is afflicted by 12th lord Sun [Loss, expenditure] and Ketu. Since the 12th lord joins 2nd lord, he will always face pretty much expenditure. Again, Ketu is a planet against material gains, so in Ketu periods he will face difficulties like financial trouble etc. But they will not be much troublesome because strong Venus and Saturn gives him very good finance. Inheritance of wealth A good inheritance of wealth is supposed to be there in natives life. Or, he will, in any way, get some good material achievement he did not give labour for. This is because the 8th lord is exalted in a positive house [5th]. 8th lord rules the gains we did not work for or worked less for than the gain itself deserves. 5th house is another good house of fortune, good results for past good works etc. 5th house, where the exalted 8th lord is, again, rules lottery and gambling. And again, the ruler of the 5th house, Saturn, is exalted in 2nd [Money]. So and exalted 8th lord in 5th house with an exalted 5th lord in 2nd house can give him gains from lottery or gambling, too. This is confirmed since the 8th lord exchanges aspects with the planet of fortune and luck, Jupiter. Jupiter is well placed here and also rules finance. Since Mars rules lands and landed properties, the gain might be like that same way. For Saturn exalted in 2nd, the gain might be in cash form. Success in career Native should be successful in his own works. This is mainly because his 9th lord [Venus] and 10th lord [Mercury] joins in a friendly conjunction in a good house [4th house]. According to Vedic astrology, a conjunction of 9th and 10th lords in a good house gives rise to a 'Raja Yoga', means 'Royal Combination'. 9th house is the house of prosperity, fortune etc. and 10th house is the house of status, success, career, profession etc. So, their conjunction in a good way indicates success. However, this does not always make the person a King or ruler, but is very good for position and success in life. However, the yoga is weakened by the conjunction of 12th lord and Ketu. Still, there will be a lot of benefits from this yoga since the 12th lord actually is a 'Neutral' in this regard. A strong 9th lord and 10th lord is among the first requirements to be successful in own work. Here the 10th lord is not as strong but it joins the strong 9th lord. 10th lord [Mercury] is also the Asc. lord [Rules life] same time. Among Mercury and Venus, Venus is strong. So the result of the Raja Yoga will be materialized in the period of Venus. Native will run the great phase of Venus for 20 years from 2016-2036, ages 34-54. These years will be most successful years in his life from all he sides since it is the period of a strong 9th lord, who is the most benefic for a native. Esp. Ve-Ve [2016-2019] will be excellent. Since Venus is in the 4th house, in this period he will own nice car, luxurious house, good homely environment and other landed properties. He will enjoy marital harmony and the entire Venus Maha Dasa will be the best time in his life. Again the 9th lord-10th lord combination is found in 4th house including the powerful Venus, that is why, he will gain from business/other dealings with lands/buildings etc. He might get into business [Mercury] or dealings of fancy / women related / beauty related things [Venus] or lands, buildings, constructions, real estates [4th house]. He will make money from dealings with metals, constructions, involving labours etc. [saturn in 2nd.] Natives 10th house [Career] has a powerful Rahu in it. Rahu in 10th house being powerful can give great material and professional success, fame etc. Rahu in 10th can give success by making any major invention, showing the society a new path, or making something 'New'. Rahu in 10th can also give political success. Natives 3rd lord, 6th lord, all are exalted - which is good for competition and defeating enemies - also good for political success. 6th lord exalted means he will interact with many powerful enemies, his enemies will be great powerful people. But since it is unafflicted, he will always do pretty good in dealing with them. The two planets of politics and competition, Mars and Saturn, both are exalted. However, the natural karaka of Power, Sun, is weak. Still, it will give him good. In March 2000, he won at a Web Design Competition at Notre Dame College [He was reading in school] and in the competition his team fought with elder teams. The news came up in newspaper at 27th March, 2000. He was running Mercury - Moon - Saturn that time. Moon is his 11th lord of fulfillment of desire and achievement, and Saturn star disposits Moon in rashi chart. Saturn in his chart is the 6th lord, which rules enemies, competition, battle etc. and is exalted. Click here to see the news as JPG picture file. Loneliness Saturn is the fixed significator of loneliness, who is exalted and strong. On the other hand, 8th lord rules loneliness who is also exalted here. So he will be lonely. His strong Venus fights this back and gives him good company from people and fights back the sorrow Saturn and Mars give him. For this counter effects, the periods will decide if he will be lonely or not. In bad periods he will be very much lonely, in good periods he will be very much with company. As the chart says, he first felt lonelyness in his life in the Mars period, started from Nov 2000 ! Loneliness started as he entered Mars period [bhukti] in Nov 2000, and loneliness ended as he finished Mars period in Nov 2001! In whole Mars bhukti, he was very much lonely, alone, no one to talk to, no one to share feelings etc. The only help were the private tutors came to his home for teaching him, and the driver and cooks of his family. Who so? Because the planet Mars gave him loneliness, who's aggression was cooled down a great deal from the aspect of kind Jupiter from 3rd. Jupiter by default, rules teachers, and is in the 3rd house, which rules servants. So when Jupiter fought against loneliness against Mars, he did it with the company of teacher [Jupiter's signification] and 3rd house [where Jupiter is]. Next he will be again lonely and troubled in Saturn's bhukti, Sep 2006 - May 2009. After that, Ketu's Maha Dasha [2009-2016] will give him some loneliness, but not much. And then in whole Venus Maha Dasha [2016-2036] he really will not be much lonely anymore. Longevity We see Saturn and 8th lord for longevity. Here both are exalted. Again, Asc. lord Mercury is with the 9th lord Venus. He runs his Venus Maha Dasha ages 34-54, no problem. Then he runs Sun Maha Dasha for next 6 years [ages 54-60], Sun is the 12th lord ruling loss of life. But it is with Venus in the Rashi chart, so no problem again. After age 60 he will run Moon Maha Dasha for 10 years, ages 60-70. Moon is a maraka for him, so his life will be in danger, since Moon is also troubled a lot. But it might not be that serious since Moon is aspected by Jupiter and Venus. If he survives Moon Maha Dasha then he might not survive the Mars Maha Dasha of 7 years comes next. Mars is the 8th lord of death. Though he is exalted and well placed. Death of Children Native has his 7th lord in 3rd house. As per Maharishi Parasara, it suggests that any of his children will die. Or, his only son will die, or he will have no son and only daughters, or at best he can have only one son, after death of some other child. This is confirmed since the 8th lord [Death] is exalted in the 5th house [Children]. Again, this 8th lord aspects the 7th lord in 3rd! The planet is Mars, who does not like to bless with children in fact. Since it is the 8th lord, it will cause great shock to the native. However, the 5th lord itself is exalted in the 2nd house, that is why, survival of children is ensured and at least one male child should survive. Notable here that his father also has his 7th lord in 3rd house, and that is why the native is the only child [son] of him, thus the theory of Parasara is likely to come true many of the times, in any way. Charts of parents and children have some similarilities in some ways in general. The death of his children might manifest in Ketu-Mars Dasha, Nov 2011-Apr 2012. Under Venus Maha Dasha such an accident is not expected. Flow of future life Now after discussing everything in details let us draw a basic outline of his flow of life - Mercury Maha Dasha [1992-2009] Different troubles, bad for studies, moderate for profession, bad for family life. Overall mixed / bad time. Mercury - Mars [Nov 2000 - Nov 2001] Loneliness, sorrow, development of occult knowledge, spiritual progress and understanding etc. Mercury - Rahu [Nov 2001 - June 2004] Struggle in position, some residence problem, some good in career, etc. This is because Rahu co-rules 6th house [struggle, trouble] and resides in 10th house [status] while his dispositor resides in 4th house [residence]. Mercury - Jupiter [June 2004 - Sep 2006] Happiness, enjoyment, growth of health, problems of previous Rahu period will be over, start of relationship and possible engagement/marriage in Jun2005-Jan2006 or in Apr2006-Sep2006. Mercury - Saturn [sep 2006 - May 2009] Struggle, trouble, residence problem, health problem, loneliness, problem in marriage and relationship, separated from loved ones, emotional shock, grief, misery. Ketu Maha Dasha [2009-2016] Problem in family life, but residence will be good. Separation from mother most of the times. Spiritual improvement. Marriage might break. May2009 - Oct2009 extremely bad and painful. Oct2009 - Dec2010 protects from troubles, improvement of residence, good home and car, protects marriage etc. Apr2011-Apr2012 Might break marriage, sorrow, shock, trouble, loneliness, trouble from enemies. Apr 2012-Apr2014 No problem, pretty good time, some happiness. Apr2014-May2015 The worst time in whole 2009-2016, another chance of breaking marriage. At least some big problem in marriage will be there, there will be grief, loneliness, struggle. Venus Maha Dasha [2016-2036] The best ever time of life. Sudden rise in life, professional success, great status etc. If marriage broke already, native will marry again and be happy. He will be very successful in his profession, enjoy position and power, live a happy and peaceful life. Summary This chart is good for material success, esp. after 34 years of age, their will be great prosperity. He might have pretty good writing, good speech, artistic abilities, and spiritual understanding. He will do lots of charity [Lords 12th, 9th, 1st join]. He will have good house and cars and landed properties after 34 years of age. But before age 34, his actual happiness will not be there, his emotion will be extremely sore, esp. from marital matters. If his first marriage breaks then he will marry again after 34 years of age where he will be happy. But after he ages 60, he will face a stressful time. So he is moderate in young age, happy in middle, but again unhappy after 60, and after 60 he will lose his wife. Any of his children will die immaturely and will cause great shock to him. He will be unhappy even after owning lots of properties. And it will always help him grow spiritually. He has a great blessings of Deva Guru Brihaspati [Jupiter] and Lord Shukracharya [Venus] but Shanaischara [saturn] and Ketu is very much firm to make him spiritually developed from immense pain. Mangala [Mars] also gives him loneliness and pains. Guest guest
Thanks sir. I really appreciate it! Regards, A student of astrology
Guest guest
Dear Tanvir, I've read your analysis. At first I thought I'd learn something from it but it seems that things should work the other way around. To my surprise you don't know a lot of basics. Yes. I am talking about basics. Perhaps, you wrote this prediction when you weren't in the mood or perhaps you really don't know the basics. I add my comments in brackets. (I haven't copied the predictions where you didn't mess with the basics). Nature Since Saturn, Rahu and Moon only aspect Mercury, they give secondary influence. (Correction: Saturn has a 100% aspect. Its having the same effect as if sitting with your lord of ascendant. Besides lord of the sign where Saturn is posited is right there with your lord of ascendant. So don't underestimate Saturn's influence!) .....they both are aspected by Moon and since Moon is the planet of emotion and mind, the native will be very emotional in nature. He will be also of good behaviour and pleasing personality for the influence of Moon, Mercury and Venus. For the influence of Venus and Moon on Mercury, he will be fond of art, music, creative things. This is found true since even from boyhood he used to draw and write pretty well. (Moon has a square aspect only. It isn't going to put a considerable effect on your personality. It'll only influence the 7th house matters where it is placed creating emotional problems with your partner and your 11th house making your earnings difficult. Your creative talents are there because of strong Venus, exalted lord of 5th and an exalted planet in 5th. Not because of Moon!) He will somehow be dominating [sun is there]. (Mercury is most of the times with sun, does it mean that Mercury is always dominating? Your Sun isn't strong, so you won't feel its effects. You'll only feel the effect of Venus because of it has above than average strength!). Saturn is the 6th lord which rules bad temper, argument and clash. So, Saturn's aspect on Asc. Lord joining Sun would make him easily involved in arguments sometimes. (I don't get it. What is the connection between 6th and argument, clash? Saturn is naturally prone to criticism, but I don't understand this relation of 6th and clash. Where did you get this information. I think it is not correct. 6th is Upachaya house indicating struggle, competition. It is also a Trik house indicating loss, disease. I think you've got it wrong). The native is said to be over philosophical. [Powerful Saturn aspecting Asc. lord.] (Merely an aspect doesn't give philosophical nature. It's the strong 9th lord Venus and 5th house rulership of Saturn that is giving you a philosophical nature. The other reason is your lord of ascendant's placement in the natural 9th house (Sagittarius). And believe me you are not over philosophical. If your lord of ascendant had been in 9th with strong Saturn and Jupiter and lord of 9th, only then you could be characterized as `over philosophical'). A powerful Saturn afflicted by other malefic [bad] planets would make one greedy, selfish, lazy. (Both Venus and Saturn aren't afflicted. Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars are in mutual exchange and therefore, minimizing any difficulties and clashes among them. In this mutual exchange, the only planet that is really weak is Jupiter because lord of the sign where Jupiter is placed, is posited in the sign of debilitation of Jupiter.) Because this Mars is aspected by Jupiter from 3rd house. (There's a great difference between a peace loving person and coward. Jupiter and Saturn do make one peace loving but not coward. Only their weakness can do so. Here your Jupiter is very weak. Jupiter is in the house of Mars and Mars is in the house of debilitation of Jupiter. Thereby making Jupiter very weak. Your lack of initiative and lack of courage is due Jupiter's weakness. By nature it doesn't do this. Mars is `cooled down' because of the influence of the one and only cold planet Saturn. Mars is not aspecting lord of ascendant, but is aspecting the ascendant. So Mars does have an influence on your personality.) For an exalted Saturn in 2nd house of eyes and viewing, he will have a good observation power. (Your eyes will be good. Agreed. Where does this Observation power come from???? Isn't it your intelligence that you are talking about?) Health For health the Asc. lord and the natural significator Sun have to be seen. Here the asc. lord Mercury is severely afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, Sun and Saturn.Among them Sun rules losses and Saturn rules diseases and ill health for the native. (Because of strong Saturnine influence on 6th, you are likely to suffer from chronic diseases rather than acute. The greatest factor when measuring physical strength are the planets fully aspecting the ascendant or lord of ascendant. 6th only shows the vulnerability to disease and the ability to work hard. Favorable link between 6th lord indicates less diseases and strong Saturn indicates the ability to work hard. Overall, health isn't weak. But it isn't good either because of Mercury's weakness and the square aspects that you have in your chart.) Mother 4th house also solely rules mother. With all the disturbing 4 planets there, the native will not be much happy from his mother. (Is it that easy to say?) His 4th lord is Jupiter, who is religious in nature and well placed in this chart. Jupiter is well placed in 3rd house of writing, so his mother might have good writing power, which is very much true here. (Man are you joking or what? Jupiter is placed in your 3rd, not your mother's 3rd. How can you give a reason such as this? You must be joking! Your mother might have helped you in developing your writing skills but if you want to look for her writing talents, then look for her 3rd not yours. And her 3rd is your 6th. Your 6th lord is exalted. That is why your mother is a good writer. Due to Saturn's influence, she might be a critic.) Here note that the 10th lord [Father] is heavily afflicted in 4th house [Mother, family] with the separative influence of Saturn and Ketu. Again, Sun is there who is the 12th lord. 12th house and lord rules losses, again. That is why, separation between parents is indicated that way, and family life [4th house] is disturbed. (Separation is indicated??? Wow. How can you say that? Your father's lord is in your mother's place. Your mother's lord is in 12th from your father's place thereby making him unaware of a lot of things about the nature of your mother. As I said before, this aspect in the worst case creates doubts about sincerity. But due to the strength of Venus and placement of Moon in 4th from your mother's place and 10th from father's place, they won't be separated. At least, I don't think so! The only weak factor is the serious, extreme affliction of Sun. Perhaps your father is always pre-occupied with some very personal issues and therefore, might not show any tolerance for your mother.) Siblings For brothers and sisters, 3rd house has to be seen mostly. His 3rd house has Jupiter, who mutually exchanges aspects with Mars. Mars is very strong, and is the 8th lord, who rules death and destruction. He has no siblings of his own. (There can be many possible explanations. First of all Jupiter is weak in 3rd. Secondly, Saturn is in 12th of 3rd. Thirdly, Mars is not aspecting 3rd (in Vedic astrology, there is no 11th house aspect).) Saturn is found in the 2nd house of 'Learning'. (Saturn doesn't slow down education. It greatly enhances the potential instead. People with strong Saturn in 5th or 9th usually keep on studying until their last days of life. Due to Saturn's self reliant nature, they study on their own. They aren't the followers of their teachers. That is why they sometimes stay behind their class. But if Jupiter is also strong, then they can overcome this trouble by balancing their self reliant nature with dependence on teachers and other learned men.) Death of Children Native has his 7th lord in 3rd house. (Oh come on. 8th is your death, not your children's death. Why do you keep on confusing your things with your relatives' things? I tell you what. If you want to look at any of your relative's nature from your own chart, make that house which represents that particular relative ascendant. In children's case make 5th house 1st. Now where is there death? In their 8th house and your 12th house. I hope you understand it now!) Summary This chart is good for material success, esp. after 34 years of age, their will be great prosperity. (I don't believe in Dasha system so I can't comment what will happen when. Because for that reason I look at horary charts rather than dashas or transits. Horary astrology would've been absolutely useless if transits and dashas could've predicted each and every thing. But that's a whole new debate!) If you want to see a certain aspect of one of your relative's life, then some experts say that you should see their chart and not your own. But some say that its ok to look at your own chart and predict, but in this case you've to make the house that represents the relative as ascendant. So, please in future don't predict about your relative's life by seeing your own ascendant! By the way, if you wrote it yourself why did you continuously referred to yourself as `he'. All in all, I think that you should first revisit the basics and then start predicting. Believe me, you have some really wrong concepts. And please don't rely on the classical texts blindly. If you can't find a logical base for some prediction, then just reject it. Just a humble suggestion! Regards, A student of astrology
Guest guest
Hello "msgfromhell", You are saying that you are a student and of limited knowledge and want to learn. But the way you are posting does not show that you really want to learn. Your posting is out of a minimal courtesy, I have not taken it seriously this time but further if you post in this way in discussion with me / anyone else then it will not be tolerated - I am telling this as moderator. Moderators of the lists sometimes have to take steps they do not like, unpleasant for both him and the person he is taking care of. But still they have to do, because it is to maintain peace and learning environment in the list. People join list to learn and it is the responsibility of the moderators to keep the environment good, so many times they have to do things that they do not like at all. And it is not being rude for no reason - they just have no ways left. No one likes to be rude and unpleasant, nor I do. When a moderator bans/removes a member many questions and comments arise, but they should see the moderators side, too. It is his duty to maintain good environment in the list, he is at the service of members with good responsibility on his shoulder, he has to carry it ! I really do not mind casual, unofficial style of writing, but there will have to be a normal tone of courtesy and respect people expect from others. I am not excited or anything but I just am reminding you in a gentle manner about the general rules you should follow in posting to any lists. First I want to make it clear that me or anyone will know about your knowledge for the following facts you have writen. Still, what you wanted to say / the theories you proposed would be respected (As the list site says, freedom of thoughts) but the style/way you put them, is very much disgusting. People respect your opinion, but then you should also respect other people's opinions, but the way you put it, does not have a slightest respect for their opinion, so understand. 1. You do not believe dasha system????? This obviously means you think dasha system doesnt work!!! When the dasha system is gone, the eyes of vedic astrology is gone. Now how can you do with a system which does not have eyes????? Dasha is one of the bases that vedic astrology stands on, and you think it is worthless?????? 2. My Venus joins Su (12L) and Ketu, and is aspected by Rahu and Saturn (6L). Furtherly it is aspected by Moon (11L) considering sign aspect. Yet you say Venus is not afflicted at all ????? 3. You are saying that 6th house has no relation with arguments and clash, and asking me where did I get the info from????? Where people get the info from, that the Sun gives us light? I think the sun is totally useless, because Sun is up on the day when it is already bright, so no need of sun when we already have bright light whole day long... rather moon is more useful since it gives us light when it is dark in the night !!!!!! 4. Jupiter disposited by Mars, who is in capricorn. But Capricorn is fallen sign of Jupiter so Jupiter is weak??? God... the fact is just opposite that a dispositors strength adds to the planet to some degree, and Mars here being in capricorn (exalted) will add to Jupiter's strength. Ask anyone you like. 5. Mars is aspecting ascendant (virgo) from Capricorn????? There is no such kind of aspect in Jyotish. Mars does not aspect the 9th, nor does Capricorn aspect Virgo. You might be talking about some western technique. By the way I do not have any faith on western system and the comments you made using western techniques makes me more disgusted on it. 6. Saturn is cooling mars down?????? God... Saturn's influence on Mars would be WORSE. Because they are bitter enemies. Now please do not tell me that they are bossom friends, I will have no answer to give you. A flask keeps hot things hot and cold things cold - but do not put hot coffee and cold pepsi in it same time !!!!! Hot coffee wouldnt like to be cool down by cold pepsi !!! 7. I do not lack in either initiative or courage - absolutely opposite. What I meant that Jupiter in 3rd makes one either peace loving or coward - depends on a lot of other things but this is the core in general. 3rd house rules courage - and over courage makes one arrogant, while a benefic in 3rd makes one polite and peace loving, like sometimes he can take dirty revenge but for the sake of peace and humanity he does nothing. Similarly an afflicted planet in 3rd can make one any of coward or arrogant - depends who is there and afflicted by whom. Like Ve afflicted can make coward, Mars afflicted can make arrogant etc. 8. Again you are wrong - Saturn is the 6th lord and his aspect on own house (6H) will help protect the 6th, ie less diseases. If Saturn wasnt the house owner then it might be otherwise. A planet aspecting it's own house protects the house itself, if other facts are same. 9. Jupiter is my 4th lord and being in 3rd it will have the effect of the 3rd, too. As much I am reading your post as much surprised I am being. Mother is judged from the 4th, and when judging 4th lord both reference of lagna and 4th house should be studied. Where do you get these theories from? 10. Mars is aspecting 3rd by sing aspect. Would you deny sign aspect like you deny dashas? Now please do not say that you deny signs, too!!! 11. Saturn does not slow down???? Does it speed up then???? Saturn slows down almost anything he influences. Delayed marriage and other delays for a Saturn is the most common problem in a chart. I guess you have not studies even 5 charts in your life. And what are the sources that made you reach this stage? I mean what are the books you followed, or the mentors guided??? .... Enough for now. You are using some mixture of western and vedic astrology and you are unaware of even simple things. 8L is a malefic and he being in 5H would cause problem about children and the problems would be related to death and destructions, delays, since he IS 8th lord!!!!! How can you deny this? And the thinigs you are saying, then I should say that I can say nothing about my children from my chart - since the chart is made from my birth data and not from my children's... how can my own birth data talk about my children then?????? If you really think yourself as a student and want to learn, your approach should be like that. But you are out of a simple courtesy or behaviour, do you know that? A student should follow the discussions and take part in a discussion TO LEARN / CORRECT himself, not to disrespect others!! What other lists you take part in or the group you interact in??? Your analysis is very strange and I am having a very hard time to believe that you are studying astrology!!! I talk to my cousins about astrology and they DO KNOW MORE THAN YOU about how to read a chart, though they never study astrology or anything - just from the conversation I make with them about astrology!!!!! I really am telling the truth and not to insult you, honestly. You should interact with some people who know even 'SOME' astrology, to verify which astrology world you are in!!! You are the Robin Son Crusso of Astrology I met. You are using so much strangest theories every possible, I am really shocked!! You do not believe in dasha system, what you believe in then? Have you ever even TRIED it??? If you try it and can not understand how it works, then you can not understand anything of astrology!!! Vimsottari dasha is the most simple way to PROVE VEDIC ASTROLOGY because just a person with minimum common sense will see how magnificantly it works!!!!! And you do not believe in THIS???? I have allowed western techniques in this list because they can be used same time alongway and that discussion might be interesting and we can verify both systems and take the good things from western astrology if it has any. But absolutely I am surprised to see these and as much as I see western astrology and as much dissapoint it makes me! They claim it to be scientific, but this scienctific thing fails when it comes the point of application! It miserably fails, very miserably!!! And what is scientific, I am facing north, and later I look at west and the west becomes north, because I am thinking that "To whichever direction I will be looking to is North!!!!!" This is what western astrologers are doing when they are using the tropical zodiac!!!!! Creating a chart of planets without adjusting the precession of the equinoxes - absolutely unscienctific in the view of astronomers and it is absolutely STUPID and a waste of time!!! I would not hesitate to tell this idiotic since the fact is fact!!! And the incidental match of prediction the westerners claim is for the INTERNAL RELATION BETWEEN PLANETS. Say Sun is 25 degree apart from Saturn in tropical system, and in sidereal system it would be the same, that is the fact makes western predictions true. You will notice that many of the successful vedic astrologers today used to be western astrologers in past, why so??? Because once they studied vedic astrology, they never got back to western system, and now they see the difference after studying vedic for a while !!!!! And when someone will pop up and say dasha system is worthless, it would only imply that all vedic astrologers are foolish since they make soul usage of dasha systems - then it means all classics and great vedic astrologers are stupids all over the world - I would not let this happen here!! Even if someone says that astrology does not work, then I do not mind, but after studying astrology one would say that dasha doesnt work - it is a very seriously nonsense statement, reveals what YOU are!!! What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. So don't underestimate Saturn's influence!) ....they both are aspected by Moon and since Moon is the planet of emotion and mind, the native will be very emotional in nature. Guest guest
Dear Tanvir, First of all, let me tell you that I wasn't intentionally rude, but I know some people find me a little (sometimes very) irritating. Now I come to the original debate. 1. I didn't say that dasha system is useless. I just said that I look to horary charts to see whats happening when. 2. Venus is afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, Moon, Sun? hmm. Well. This is something that I can't agree on but I won't argue as I think we belong to two distinctive schools of thought. 3. 6th house rules loss but believe me I still don't understand how did you come to the conclusion that it represents clash/argument. I said 'I think you are wrong on this'. I didn't say that you are definitely wrong on this! 4. Well. I know that the strength of the dispositor can minimize a planet's weakness, but its also a fact that wherever the dispositor is placed, that planet's strength or weakness should be judged from that house/sign effect on the original planet too. But as I said due to mutual relationship among Venus/Mars/Jupiter/Saturn, their weaknesses have been minimized, therefore, its not a great matter of concern here. All that I meant was that Jupiter is the weakest in these 4 planets. 5. I'll quote a source soon. 6. They are mutual enemies. Can you please tell me why Mars is exalted in his enemies house? and on the contrary Saturn debilitated in his enemies house? I never heard of an enemy in his supreme form in his enemies house. There must be a revolutionary philosophical concept that you have introduced. The thing is. Saturn hates Mars. Mars loves Saturn. Therefore, when Mars is aspected by Saturn, Mars is being strengthened by it. Whereas, when Mars aspect Saturn, Saturn gets weaker. There is no 'mutual enmity' between them. 7. Well. Here again I think its the difference of school of thoughts! 8. I didn't say that you'll suffer from a lot of diseases. I just said that physical strength is not represented by 6th lord, rather it represents vulnerability to disease. I think you've misinterpreted my message. 9. I told you that there are different opinions on this topic. To quote myself again: "If you want to see a certain aspect of one of your relative's life, then some experts say that you should see their chart and not your own. But some say that its ok to look at your own chart and predict, but in this case you've to make the house that represents the relative as ascendant." 10. Sign aspect? You are following the Jamini system aren't you! Well I don't remember all of their theories but all I remember is that sign affects sign rather than planets in the signs affecting another sign by sign-sign aspect. But I'll have to look to the classics for confirmation. Anyway, I apologise if I got it wrong. 11. I didn't say that Saturn speeds up. Instead I gave the reason as to why does its influence on education makes this process slower. So, go and read my message again and then start shouting! 5th house and lord represent your ability to have children. Prediction on their nature is then again a matter of opinion. Either way your death (8th) has no connection with your children's death whatsoever. Your death lord is exalted in 5th, which indicates that your death may be related to your children in some way, like you may die trying to save your children during some accident. I am not sure! You'll probably have a miscarriage because of Mars influence but due to exalted 5th lord and strong Venus, you'll 'have' children. I can't give the number as I am not an expert like Parashar to tell people how many children they'll have. By the way, my uncle has 7th lord in 3rd, and he has 3 children! By criticising western system, you aren't getting anywhere. Unlike you vedics who often criticise them, they look at your system and try to adopt as many 'logical' things they can. My system isn't purely western, vedic or some other popular type. I've developed it on my own by reading Vedic texts (almost all the classics - but I don't remember each and every detail), Western texts (William Lilly, Alan Leo to name a few), Arabic text (only 1 book called 'al najoom'), and I am looking for more. I first wrote down some principles which I found 'logical' and then I started applying them. To date I've done roughly more than a couple hundred reading and I don't have a single reported wrong prediction. What I said about my success ratio before wasn't entirely right because I have never had a failed prediction. But I am sure that I've made mistakes as I am after all a human, not a super human or spirit! Just a reminder, Western astrology isn't all about using placidus or equal house system. It has a complete way of prediction too. So, please the next time you comment on western system, talk about other things as well. Westerns converted to astrology? Well it isn't a news for me. Conversions happen all the time and they happen both ways, i.e. people convert from vedic to western too! To give you an example. The teacher who taught me astrology converted from Vedic to Western (only retaining some Vedic concepts like Mars aspects 8th fully, etc.) and has made charts of a former leader of Pakistan (I won't disclose his name and rank for security reasons), 2 Governers of Pakistan and perhaps a Chief Minister, a lot of ministers and bureaucrats. Its only due to his humbleness, he never claimed to be the EXPERT on astrology. Even at an old age of 86, he continues reading books and analyzing charts to make sure his system is without any error. I don't use dasha system, I don't believe in dasha system, but it doesn't mean Vedic astrologers are fools. I respect everyone's beliefs and faith. That is why I didn't say a word on your interpretation of dasha system. I just said I don't use it and don't believe it! As I said in the beginning, I didn't intend to be rude. I just think that I should've commented much more humbly and tenderly. But this is a quality I lack. I am a student and will remain a student forever. I never claimed to be an expert, never told people what they should do and what they shouldn't. The people who know me, realize that instead of making them afraid of their weaknesses in their birth charts, I insist on using their most powerful weapon 'free will' against all the weaknesses found in their chart (like weak planets, square or opposition aspects, etc). This is to some extent is disturbing to astrologers who, due to their beliefs or other reasons (like earning money from selling gems and stones), prefer to give people remedies. I am not against your efforts to give people free information, in fact, it is a very nice thing to do but I believe that the real success of an astrologer is that the querent never comes to him again for solution of a problem. I am lucky to have this working so far! (In fact, some of the people who give me regular feedback, have a much better confident happy attitude towards life now!) The way you've misinterpreted my prediction is extremely irritating for me but I've tried to keep my cool and I close this message with the intention that you won't take this message as a 'rude' message or a 'challenge' on your authority on astrology. Guest guest
~ Om Namah Shivaya ~ Just a quote from P.V.R Narshima Rao Ji book "Vedic Astrology is a very pure subject and there is no need to corrupt it". Please don't mix western, vedic and modern astrology. All may be good, but when following, kindly follow one only. Guest guest
Some facts about astrology Western astrology as well as vedic astrology are symbolic languages. Reference point of western astr is spring equinox, when Sun is exactly above equador and reference point of vedic astr are the moving constellations of the zodiac, but Vedic astr is as irrational as Wester astr because the constellations are in no way exactly 30° each. Western astr is about psychological profile and vedic astr is about prediction and life events, so they are about totaly different subjects and should never be mixed. I read in mr.Rao's book that Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra is 5000 years old. That is a long tradition. In Europa astrology was forbidden for long time by catholic church, there even was death-sentence for being astrologer. So astrology went underground and lots of texts were lost. So reviving western astr is very young compared to vedic astr. And there will always be good and bad astrologers on both sides! Clara I have allowed western techniques in this list because they can be used same time alongway and that discussion might be interesting and we can verify both systems and take the good things from western astrology if it has any. Guest guest
Dear Gupta, Vedic astrology, western astrology, and all other forms of astrology are pure if studied in their original form. What people like me do is not meant to be disrespectful for these types of astrology as I respect all of them. Its just that I find it hard to 'stick' to one form when all the other forms can be integrated into an almost perfect whole! (This doesn't imply that they are seriously flawed. I just mean that they can also give good predictions if used together!) Guest guest
"5. I'll quote a source soon." Here are the sources which state that every planet aspects ninth house from its position: 1. Brihat Jataka 2. Horasara 3. Kalyana Varma Saravali 4. Guest guest
Hello, As you seem to think, I was not irritated by your different school of astrology. I am free to new ideas and different techniques, as long as you are respectful to others! What really bothered me and irritated me is your style of writing. There was no touch of respect in any ways. In my chart I have used very simple and widely accepted basic techniques and since you do not even know them, you thought they all were wrong, and then you re-act in very disgusting way suggesting me to learn basics! You suggest is over and over, though you say it's humble suggestion but it really wasnt humble! Never talk to anyone in that way! You lack in basics and from different school and for that reason you tell me that I do not know basics - but the techniques I used are widely accepted by all, may be the way/approach wil vary, but the basic is same and all accept it! You mgiht be thinking what a rude moderator, but the truth really isnt that! Read the old posts and posts in other lists then you will know the way I interact. Anyway people know that well. But your repeated suggestion to learn the basics, and also in a irritating way made me out of patience! No one would like it. The techniques I have used are very simple and widely, commonly accepted. On the other hand you from a different school and also not knowing the simple basics, start telling me that I should learn basics! Even if you did that in a good way I would not mind, but read your post again! You do not believe in dasha system, or state that Mars aspects the 2nd house from it, or state that Saturn speeds up things - or whatever, (I am just giving ane example) I wil really not mind, but the way you say was disgusting. If I and you have total disgreement, I will not do anything - I believe in freedom of thoughts! Because it is not a duel but a discussion - you put forward your thoughts with logic, so do I. When you will say something I do not agree, I will state my view with my logic, end of matter !!!!! I really am not inclined to CONVINCE anyone for anything or to PROVE anything - problem begins when people do this. So it is not your theories but your writing style. By the way I have not found anything to learn from you YET, but I do think sincerely you have a lot to learn from me and from others. Even if I can not teach you anything EVEN THEN I will be able to teach you the dasha system and you will see how it works, you will see by ourself, well that is if you are sincere to learn, only then!!!! Other things I am replying point by point - 1. I didn't say that dasha system is useless. I just said that I look to horary charts to see whats happening when. Here, you are carefully changing what you said earlier. You wrote, "I don't believe in Dasha system". "Not believing" and "Not using" have a great difference among them - can you see that? When I say that I dont BELIEVE something, it implies that for my logic and experience, I think it to be VOID AND FAKE. That is why I do not believe it, means I do not trust it and think it does not work. This is something else. On the other hand I dont USE it is totally different - it means I just do not put it in my own work, IRRESPECTIVE TO I believe or not. Example - I know about so many advanced techniques of Vedic Astrology, which I do not USE. But it does not mean that I do not BELIEVE in them. I DO. But I still do not use them. On the other hand I do not feel western astrology to be so good, that is why I neither BELIEVE nor USE it. In you earlier post you said you do not BELIEVE dasha system, implying that you think they dont work. You also confirm this by putting a logic, "Horary astrology would've been absolutely useless if transits and dashas could've predicted each and every thing." So here it is clear what you wanted to mean. Kindly please do not change your statement. 2. Venus is afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, Moon, Sun? hmm. Well. This is something that I can't agree on but I won't argue as I think we belong to two distinctive schools of thought. Affliction is not magic. Can you say me what is an affliction? A malefic planet spoils a benefic planet with it's own malefic quality - that is it. It is not something magical or anything, it lies in the own/achieved nature of the planets. May be in your system Venus is not afflicted, But for that you can not say me that I do not know basics! Because Vedic Astrology uses this and WITH SUCCESS. Your system is different but then you can't say that others do not know basics! You should know that!!! Here most of the people / almost all the people use Vedic Astrology AND THAT IS WHY when you use another technique you should always mention that it is a western technique, otherwise it will confuse people. Like if I get into a western list I should always mention that it is a Vedic technique I am using, otherwise they will be confused where this theory came from, and they WONT like it!!! 3. 6th house rules loss but believe me I still don't understand how did you come to the conclusion that it represents clash/argument. I said 'I think you are wrong on this'. I didn't say that you are definitely wrong on this!Again you are carefully changing what you have said. "I think you are wrong on this" Is not ALL what you have said! Read it over and see what you said and also in which way! Remember, that when you do not know something, it does NOT mean that the theory is wrong! For your information, it is not "coming into a conclusion" that 6th rules arguments and clashes. It is a BASIC SIGNIFICATION of 6th house and you will know this if you ask any Vedic Astrologer and we find it true in practice, too! Ask anyone here or anywhere who practices Vedic. The fact is that, you are unaware of very basics and that is why you are thinking that whatever I said were really wrong! And that you are putting in a very nurespectful manner, suggesting to learn basics over and over. God ! 4. Here is what you have said, read it again - "In this mutual exchange, the only planet that is really weak is Jupiter" Now who in this world will understand what you meant by "really weak" ? For your information, Dispositors strength affects the planet to some degree, but not compairing to the own planet in respect of position, like you implied that dispositor Mars is placed in Jupiters fallen sign so jupiter is weak!!!!!! No !! Because Mars is exalted so it will help Jupiter being it's dispositor. Now as per your your logic, Jupiters exaltation sign is cancer, and placing there, Mars would help Jupiter? Absolutely wrong! Because Mars would be debilitated there and thus the dispositor (MArs) will affect the Jupiter negatively, because the dispositor is very weak! It is the totally opposite theory you are using here. And you are using with a lot of confidence, anouncing others to be wrong! 5. I'll quote a source soon. You can not quote a single line from any CORRECT source about it. Mars in no way aspects Virgo from Capricorn. There are PARTIAL ASPECTS liek dipada, tripada, but the result is almost none and no one uses them because then all planets will be aspecting others! You will find no single good Vedic Astrologer uses this, because the effect is near to none and so many other effects are their to change it, so the neat effect is ZERO. How come you are after all these most subtle techniques same time denying most basic and vital techniques like dashas? Absolutely strange. 6. They are mutual enemies. Can you please tell me why Mars is exalted in his enemies house? and on the contrary Saturn debilitated in his enemies house? I never heard of an enemy in his supreme form in his enemies house. There must be a revolutionary philosophical concept that you have introduced. Good, this is absolutely irrelevant !!!! Planets are exalted / fallen in certains signs for the nature of the SIGNS that suits them or dissatisfy them, NOT THE RELATIONSHIP TO THE OWNER !!! This you know after reading all the classics? Tell me one thing. Mercury and Venus are extremely friendly - then how come Venus fallen in Mercury sign? As per your logic they should be bitter enemies! Now will you change the fact that they are good friends? No, you can not change that !!! What if I say you that Mars is exalted in Libra!!!!! Would you like that? No!! Because exaltation, debilitation is a FACT and there is nothing to change, SO IT FRIENDLY-ENMITY !!!!!! So when Ve is fallen in virgo it doesnt mean that Merc-Ve are enemies, but the sign comes to the matter. Virgo is the natural 6th sign, 6th rules enemies, clashes, debates, argument... and being the planet of love and courtesy, Ve does not like the sign! Things like THIS matters, not the friendly-enmity between the planets! God, how can you say this???? So now sit and think by yourself why Mars is exalted in Capricorn? It will be a good exercise for you... think and see if you can figure it out !!! Dont ask me, I know the answers already!!! The thing is. Saturn hates Mars. Mars loves Saturn. Therefore, when Mars is aspected by Saturn, Mars is being strengthened by it. Whereas, when Mars aspect Saturn, Saturn gets weaker. There is no 'mutual enmity' between them. You are talking the way that you know the very hidden agendas between them because you are one of their teams! But let me tell you something. What happens when planet 'A' aspects planet 'B' ? who affects whom? Does planet B affects A ? NO ! It is B AFFECTED BY A, SINCE A ASPECTS B. So as per your logic, Saturn hates Mars, then when saturn aspects Mars, (influences mars with its aspect) then Saturn should HARM MARS, NOT SO? How is it ever possible that Saturn Hates Mars but BLESSES MARS WITH IT'S ASPECT/INFLUENCE? Is not it REALLY IMPOSSIBLE? Coming to another logic of you what you mentioned that "SATURN COOLS MARS DOWN". Here in this post you are telling that When Saturn aspects Mars, Mars gets strengthened. But in the earlier post you have said that when Saturn aspects Mars, mars gets cooled down!!!!! How come Mars gets COOLED DOWN but STRENGTHENED same time by aspect of Saturn??? Are not you contradicting yourself within mnutes? 7. Well. Here again I think its the difference of school of thoughts! May be different schools, but I assume your western astrology at least accepts that 3rd house is the house of courage, right? Then common sense says that a arrogant planet like Mars in 3rd would make one arrogant while a good planet like Jupiter or venus would make the native gentle and peace loving, right? Now for Gods sake do not tell that Jupiter is arrogant in nature and Mars is gentle and polite!!! 8. I didn't say that you'll suffer from a lot of diseases. I just said that physical strength is not represented by 6th lord, rather it represents vulnerability to disease. I think you've misinterpreted my message. My discussion was NOT about physical strength, but was in reply that you said, "Because of strong Saturnine influence on 6th, you are likely to suffer from chronic diseases." That is why I said that Saturn aspecting it's own house in 6th would not give chronic diseases rather PROTECT IT. And also Saturn itself is strong that would mean less diseases. Clear now? So see I did not misinterprete your message rather you do not even understand what I am talking about! 9. I told you that there are different opinions on this topic. To quote myself again:"If you want to see a certain aspect of one of your relative's life, then some experts say that you should see their chart and not your own. But some say that its ok to look at your own chart and predict, but in this case you've to make the house that represents the relative as ascendant." This I told when you said that 8th is my own death, not of my children's. Actually the answer is YES and NO !!!!! 8th is death, and it is the house of children, definitely it will harm the children with 'death'. This is because it is shown so, that is why. All the people of vedic astrology would agree on this but it is really dissapointing to see that you do not know or intend to agree on this - I have nothing to say, but this is found true in every single matters. There is a member Mrs Clara, I am discussin some charts with her in private, and the discussion we did even yesterday prove these techniques to be true, thats the latest example! Ask her, she knows western astrology too! So you might believe her if she says it works! Anyway this is a very basic of astrology and I have absolutely no idea in which way you deny this. This is like asking, "Why there are astology?" I cant answer these. 10. May I ask with a great respect WHO said you that this is a "JAIMINI SYSTEM" ? Sign aspect is VERY MUCH THERE in Parasara Hora Sastra. Parasara straightly says the rules of sign aspect, in his work. And Jamini is not so clear about sign aspect, either!!!!!! His theories are so confusing and difficult to understand. And most of all, Parasara lived earlier than Jaimini did !!!!! So the fact is that, Parasara said the sign aspect clearly, and later Jaimini came adn said a little about it, and it became JAIMINI SYSTEM????? Now I am tanvir, learn sign aspect from parasara and jaimini, after 5000 years of them. And now I would say that sign aspect is "MY SYSTEM" ?????? So how can you jump into Jaimini skipping Parasara? He is the most authoritive source today, and called the father of jyotisha by some, remember. His work is the first step into Jyotish, and is the FIRST reference book. All the astrologer without any doubt consider his work to be the most authentic among all, and you directly jump into Jaimini. Parasara lived before Jaimini and gave the theories of sign aspect, how come it is Jamini system????? Most/all the theories in jamini ARE THERE in parasara hora sastra, did you ever leaf through them???? 11. I didn't say that Saturn speeds up. Instead I gave the reason as to why does its influence on education makes this process slower. So, go and read my message again and then start shouting! I read your message well before I wrote a LINE about it !!!!! Better you do that !!! In earlier post you straightly said, "Saturn doesn't slow down education. It greatly enhances the potential instead." And now you are saying, "I gave the reason as to why does its influence on education makes this process slower." So again you are contradicting yourself !!!!!5th house and lord represent your ability to have children. Prediction on their nature is then again a matter of opinion. Either way your death (8th) has no connection with your children's death whatsoever. Your death lord is exalted in 5th, which indicates that your death may be related to your children in some way, like you may die trying to save your children during some accident. I am not sure! LOL !!!!!!!! What the 8th lord in ascendant mean then? I will die for my LIFE??????? It should be so since ascendant is the overall life. May be it means that the native will die when he will try to take birth, means he will not ever born!!! Very interesting... Learn from me here, read very carefully. Mars is exalted (strong) in 5th so in no way death (mars) will be negatively influenced by children (5th). But Mars will not forget to harm the 5th since he is the 8th lord, also by own nature he likes to kill people and children. That is it, clear now? You'll probably have a miscarriage because of Mars influence but due to exalted 5th lord and strong Venus, you'll 'have' children. I can't give the number as I am not an expert like Parashar to tell people how many children they'll have. I did say that already, that even after losing a child/children, I at last should have children for the exalted 5L !!!! Do not overlook it. By the way, my uncle has 7th lord in 3rd, and he has 3 children! Fine, I am sure anyone can have more!!!By criticising western system, you aren't getting anywhere. Unlike you vedics who often criticise them, they look at your system and try to adopt as many 'logical' things they can. I am not criticising western, all the things I said about it were FACTS, not COMMENTS!!! There are difference between FACTS and COMMENTS!!!!! My system isn't purely western, vedic or some other popular type. I've developed it on my own by reading Vedic texts (almost all the classics - but I don't remember each and every detail) Almost all the clasic? I see, how can you are in this stage then? Like saying that 8th lord is my own death so 8th lord in 5th will not kill children possibly? You have failed to grasp the very basics of them! And how come after reading all the texts and say that sign aspect is "JAIMINI SYSTEM"???? Did not you read Parasara? Parasara speaks about sign aspect long before of speaking about planetary aspect, and planetary aspect remains to parasara and sign aspect becomes technique of jamini, though jamini came later of parasara??????? Western texts (William Lilly, Alan Leo to name a few), Arabic text (only 1 book called 'al najoom'), and I am looking for more. I first wrote down some principles which I found 'logical' and then I started applying them. Hm, sounds nice indeed. Keep reading more and you will get more and more knowledge (In this way) and all I can do is to wish you all the best for becoming more knowledgeable in this styel of you :-) To date I've done roughly more than a couple hundred reading and I don't have a single reported wrong prediction. What I said about my success ratio before wasn't entirely right because I have never had a failed prediction. But I am sure that I've made mistakes as I am after all a human, not a super human or spirit! I see, in earlier post you said about some failure but looks like it changed! Well, I have no problem at all. All I cn say that even Dr. B V Raman had mentioned alot of mistakes in prediction in his earlier time. On the other hand clients consulted Sri K N Rao and other reputed astrologers also admit that they are not 100% right on everything - the astrologers themselves admit that, too! But here even in the status of a student, you never fail your predictions, so see what you will be when you will be learned????? That would be great. However my chart seems to be the first failure of your life, nothing you told matched ! Just a reminder, Western astrology isn't all about using placidus or equal house system. It has a complete way of prediction too. So, please the next time you comment on western system, talk about other things as well. which I find much more logical than other systems! Why should I talk about all things of western astrology? I did not take the responsibility of reviewing astro systems, did I ? All I talked about is the ZODIAC THEY USE, IS COMPLETELY UNSCIENTIFIC AND WRONG !!! God, did I even mention the words "placidus" or "house system" ???? In this whole list I never posted a comment on the western house systems, in the post to you is far away? How come a person who read almost all the text get confused between "zodiac" and "house system" ? I am very dissapoint to see this !!! Westerns converted to astrology? Well it isn't a news for me. Conversions happen all the time and they happen both ways, i.e. people convert from vedic to western too!To give you an example. The teacher who taught me astrology converted from Vedic to Western (only retaining some Vedic concepts like Mars aspects 8th fully, etc.) and has made charts of a former leader of Pakistan (I won't disclose his name for security reasons), 2 Governers of Pakistan and perhaps a Chief Minister, a lot of ministers and bureaucrats. Its only due to his humbleness, he never claimed to be the EXPERT on astrology. Even at an old age of 86, he continues reading books and analyzing charts to make sure his system is without any error.I don't use dasha system, I don't believe in dasha system, but it doesn't mean Vedic astrologers are fools. I respect everyone's beliefs and faith. That is why I didn't say a word on your interpretation of dasha system. I just said I don't use it and don't believe it! Of course you do not use dasha does NOT mean anything than it means things related to YOU and not others! What you believe or think does never change the truth! As I said in the beginning, I didn't intend to be rude. I just think that I should've commented much more humbly and tenderly. But this is a quality I lack. That is good that you understand now. If you are polite in your posting, nobody can do anything to you here. This, to some extent is disturbing to astrologers who due to their beliefs or other reasons (like earning money from selling gems and stones), prefer to give people remedies. Very good. But not all selling gems are fraud, never think that. Gems are excellent ways of remedies.I am not against your efforts to give people free information, in fact, it is a very nice thing to do but I believe that the real success of an astrologer is that the querent never comes to him again for solution of a problem. I am lucky to have this working so far! (In fact, some of the people who give me regular feedback, have a much better confident happy attitude towards life now!) Not really, that is where you are wrong again. No astrologer can claim that he will be able to control the karma / fate !!! It is in the clients karma that pulled him towards the astrologer, nothing else. An astrologer claiming that he can change the fate/karma/destiny would be a FRAUD. Remember astrologers are humen, too... and ALL THE THINGS YOU DO (chart reading etc.) , YOU DO THEM BEING UNDER THE EFFECTS OF PLANETS, NOT GOING OUTSIDE THEIR EFFECT. If an astrologer gives a remedy and that works on fist chance, it really doesnt always prove him a good astologer always, it only proves the power of the karma of the CLIENT. Simiarly a client visiting the astrologer again with his problems doesnt mean that he is a bad astrologer (always), it only means the client has some difficulty in his karma to be uplifted easily. Astrologers / good astrologers admit this!!! And remember it does prove the SINCERETY of the astrologer that he again sits with the case and is cordial to the clients problem. In stead he could say, "Listen man, I gave you the stones and remedies, they will work definitely, when they are not working it only means you are not doing them right, so dont bother me again!"The way you've misinterpreted my prediction is extremely irritating for me but I've tried to keep my cool and I close this message with the intention that you won't take this message as a 'rude' message or a 'challenge' on your authority on astrology. Again, I have not misinterpreted your prediction, rather the style you used irritated me. Honestly, I never seen such a writing style in all the 20/25 groups I am a member of - and surely no moderator would allow this, do it somewhere and see what happens! Guest guest
haha. You know when I read your first message, I really thought that I've been really really so rude, shouldn't have done it. But believe me you aren't anything less. I am not going to continue this debate (fight) anymore as it seems that I am speaking German and you are speaking French. So, lets just forget it instead of continuing this discussion to the bitter end. Its your chart, its your way of thinking, its your life, so I shouldn't be concerned much. I just wanted to try a prediction and check if its wrong or right and it was easy to check this because you are an astrologer too. As for my success rate, I clearly said there is no 'reported' wrong prediction. But I know I've made mistakes. Its just that people don't bother to report it. I know I've made so many mistakes that I don't even know about. That is why I've really started to stress upon feedback. So, in a sense I appreciate your lengthy, in detail 'feedbacks'. However, you're wrong that I haven't spoken this language on any other group. I have done that again and again on many in the past. Its just that people are always a little kinder to me. Guest guest
I am telling again, I feel if somebody cant find solace with vedic, they turn to western and vice versa. Because everybody looks at their own horoscope at one time. From my expereince from both systems, if one system turns you down the other system rescues you. So you will start liking that. But all said and done, I would like to stick with Vedic (( not that it offers good predictions to me,, infact its not that good for me)). I like the intricacies of it.. And remember!!!! this is vedic astrology discussion group !!! Thanksmsgfromhell <msgfromhell > wrote: "5. Guest guest
Namaste... Since Mr msgfromhell has withdrawn from the discussion/debate I do not intend to stretch it further. Moreover, I think I have given enough explanations as per my knowledge to his post. [Please read anyone interested, if you have not done so yet.] But since you have focussed on it, I would like to talk a little more about it again. This is really not meant to argue Mr msgfromhell but is a discussion with you and other learned members. 1. Aspects are one kind of "effect". A planet affects something with 'being' / joining, so does by aspecting. 2. That is why planets aspect different houses as per their nature. 3. Like Jupiter is the most generous planet, he aspects the 5th and 9th additionally, indicating the net good actions the native performed in the previous birth. 4. Oppositely Rahu is the most malefic and mean planet and also aspects the 5th and 9th additionally, harming the 5th and 9th - he means the past bad karmas. Rahu's aspect is a matter of debate but that is what I believe and use. If I sometimes find something else, like no aspect of Rahu, I will be happy to follow that. But I will have to see it in practice! Mars additionally aspects 4th and 8th houses from it - 8th is the house of accidents and operations which generally Mars rules as his nature. 4th is land and homes and again Mars rules lands you all know it well. On the other hand Mars does not bother about 9th - it does not destroy dharma like Rahu, nor it promotes dharma like Jupiter. That is why 9th is not a headache of Mars and Mars does not aspect 9th. Thus if we understand the logics behind aspects and all the things, it all becomes very clear! Now there are dipada and tripada aspects they are not full and the results will be also negligibale and a lot of other facts will be there to change it a lot, that is why NO ONE in my life was seen to use them. I doubt who did !!! If anyone uses a very subtle matter like dipada aspect, then he has to use a lot of other subtle things that comes before of this. The wise one's common sense should be respectfully questioned who avoids such a core/major things like dasha, while using such most negligible facts like partial aspect. Actually once (some of us) make a mistake, then we try most remotest logics to prove it true. It takes almost nothing to say, "Oh, sorry... I was wrong :-)" but many of us do not go that way... On the other hand BPHS and Jaimini Sutras are the most authoritative texts of the Jyotish. Parasara is the father of Vyasadeva who wrote many of the Scriptures - gave them a writen form. Even the beginners do know what to put emphasis on when a confusion comes... BPHS is doubtedly accepted by all the mosr brilliant and reputed astrologers as the most authoritative astrologers all over the world - no need to mention, really! Best wishes, Tanvir What can not happen, can never happen.Which is mine, is forever mine. Guest guest
Dear all, Here is what I found from diff classics about Mars aspects - 1. Brihat Jataka Saturn, Mars and Jupiter have special sights and are powerful in aspecting 3rd and 10th, 4th and 8th and 5th and 9th respectively. Here it's clearly mentioned that Mars aspects ONLY 4th and 8th in addition to 7th. Again, in previous line - Planets aspect ¼,1/2, ¾ and full in the 3rd and 10th, in the 5th and 9th, in the 4th and 8th and in the 7th respectively. So again it clears that in 9th planets aspect half... (as I already talked on partial pasect) 2. Horasara It again makes clear that on 9th, the aspect is partial... 3. Saravali It again makes clear that on 9th, the aspect is only partial and not full. Now say if we consider all the partial aspect, it becomes that 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 - all the places he aspects! Now with sign aspect he might aspect some more houses, too!!! That is why these are subtle/negligible matters as mentioned in classics so no one uses them. But to fit own ways someone might give reference to them that is MISLEADING. The fact is that, someone uses a wrong way, then when it was focussed, try to misinterprete classics to support it. If one uses partial aspect of 4th, then he will, naturally use all other partial aspects like 3, 5, 8, 9, 10 etc., and also the full 7th aspect. But he does not do so, that proves the partial aspect was not really in his mind. But now once it was questioned, try to support it with classical reference, but it will MISLEAD beginners since partial aspect is a very negligible matter and other strong facts change these. Now, when the present of malefics can not afflict/influence a planet, only partial aspect will influence? How is that possible? And how can one use the most subtle and negligible matters like partial aspect while avoiding the most vital facts like dasha? It all proves the way to support own statement with classical reference in a way to misinterprete them. Namaste, Tanvir What can not happen, can never happen.Which is mine, is forever mine. Guest guest
Hello Tanvir, I was away on a holiday and on return,I found it very exciting to go through all your postings especially those on your own chart. Will it be possible for you to clear my doubts on a few things you have written? You have stated that Mars and Jup aspects mutually. Is it the partial aspect that you have written about? If so it is only 1/4th for Jup to Mars (and Nil for Mars to Jup as it is on the 11th from Mars) and how significant it is? The Moon is the 11th Lord and I thought the 11th Lord is a functional benefic and supports any house where he is deposited. He is not a Badhaka for Virgo. Is it not necessary for D1 analysis to do it from the Moon Rasi also? I thought that the 9th house and its lord stand for father. Is it wrong? In many charts I have seen, early death of father takes place if Sun is in the 9th aspected by Saturn. My own mother's chart is a typical example. In the chart, there are A1,A2,A3 etc written in many of the signs.I do not understand them. Can you kindly enlighten me on this as you have not mentioned anything about them in the analysis. I think there are many yogas present in the chart which will counter many of your pessimistic notes on your life? Regards Kaimal
Guest guest
~ Namaste ~ I am answering your questions below :-) 1. The aspect between mars and jupiter, I was considering sign aspect, as scorpio aspcts capricorn and vice versa. To me sign aspect is a very important matter like planetary aspect, I get good result with it so I use it :-) 2. BPHS states Moon for Virgo is a malefic. I think 11L is considered a malefic, unless he rules a good hosue also. 3. Actually I do not consider that even a benefic planet will support anything where he is. Because what if he is very ill placed like fallen? He will be negative. Moon, malefic for me, being in the star of Saturn (6L) and being heavily afflicted (sign aspect) is too bad for me and all my past confirms this :-( 4. Yes, some consider Moon rashi as first, but that always comes after asc I guess? I tested this and I always get a lot good result from asc than moon rashi, so I use asc :-) 5. Both 9th and 10th are considered for father, as both are supported by classics. BPHS states both 9th and 10th (while stressing little more on 10th I guess) while Jaimini states only 9th. I personally strongly suggest to take 10th because it has so many logical reasons, I wanted to write an article on it but never found enough time. I get good and perfect result with 10th always, not with 9th. However, I should also mention that many of the most brilliant astrologers and Gurus use 9th, so it is a personal choice :-) 6. A1, A2, A3 are the Arudha Padas of the bhavas - they are very advanced phenomenas which I do not have much knowledge for to judge. They are also very subtle facts. There were a few posts on me on Arudhas a few days back. Also Gurus like PVR jee and Sanjay Jee use Arudhas with excellent brilliancy. 7. I consider yogas from a logical sense rather then just applying them unconditionally. I had a post on this a few days back. Where exalted Sat and own house Venus in 10th did nothing to make the native a brilliant person though there are double Maha Purusha yogas there :-) Regards, Tanvir What can not happen, can never happen. Guest guest
Hello, Thanks for your patient reply.I have read that Virgo people have usually a thin line on their forehead and the chin in the middle and that their blue veins stand out so that they are visible.Do you have them? Where can I read more about the sign aspect?Have we anything in our files? So Moon is a malefic for Virgo.Moon is an enemy of Mercury. Is it the reason or is it because of the fact that it is in the constellation of Saturn? But Saturn is exalted and also the 5th Lord and a friend of Mercury.Eventhough its MT house falls on the 6th,he also owns a trine and does it not make him a functional benefic for you? My younger brother is Virgo and he has entered into the MD of Saturn from 1998.His Saturn is also in the 2nd house exalted! On the one side,he has gone up in his career,he commands great respect in the professional field, won the admiration and respect of his superiors and improved his financial situation steadily. At the same time, his health is also not all that good now and he is no more the cheerful person that he was.He is moody, irritable, tense, worried and snaps at people and very much stressed out both at home and office. He has Moon and Sun in the Asc but I am not able to see anything bad happening to him because of that except that he has a tendency to spend more than what he earns! But that is changing slowly. It is very interesting that you prefer 10th house to stand for father. My DOB is 16th May 1944 at 11.53PM IST (not war time)and place of birth is Quilon.(Long 76E38 and Lat8N54) Can you tell me anything about my father?
