Guest guest
Dear Kelly & Group, A Graha aspecting into its own Rashi (or Nakshatra) is a stabilizing and beneficial aspect. It causes those matters indicated to flourish. The power of the Graha does need to be taken into account though... This is similar to a Graha in its own Rashi always being a 1st tier strength...then you look at Navamsa, Shad Bala, etc. for more details. Guest guest
If you are a Virgo Lagna with exalted Mars(in the 5th), then it does aspect into its own 8th B of Aries, but not the third. I would say that Mars in your 6th B of daily routine, aspected by SU/JU/VE and of course ME retro, might be the culprits... ....and in your chart the 8th Bhava of occult knowledge/Jyotish/etc. seems to be a big part of your life, and flourishing!!! being aspected by its lord. (prob in communication starting from exalted 3L bhukti???????) Why so? Because Mars is my 8L too, and so even though it is the house owner, it will harm some of it being the 8th lord... If a planet aspects it's own house, is this harmful or helpful to the indications of that house ansd would it depend on whether the planet is benefic/malefic and what house it's aspecting and what house it's sitting in? I had assumed it would be helpful; has anyone heard anything about this? And would a direct aspect(Opposite sign) be any different in effect than a non-direct aspect? again, thanks for the help, kelly ~! Guest guest
My Mars aspects 8H with graha aspect but for sign aspect it aspects the 3H and Ju. I know people do not agree about sign aspect like this but I am sure about sign aspect should has to be considered as it is - it is very important, and I am sure (from experience) about my Mars aspecting 3H and Ju there in, and Ju aspecting 5H and mars... some may not agree but I am sure of it so this goes my personal opinion :-) And actually the main fact is not 8L aspecting 8H here (As per me) but 8L is 1. exalted and 2. in 5H (knowledge)... 8L exal in 5H aspectrf by well placed Ju will give me huge inheritance of landed property and all unexpected gaibns I did not work/give laour for... I knew this and is confirmed by normal experiences and alsmo mantra experience... mars 108 names gives me unexpected gains from others... May be in Ve-Ju or Ve-Ma I will get the properties or even lottery or gambling winning (A good amount of money) is indicated... I wrote details on this in my 'astro biogaphy' of my own... am not finding the time to finsh it, almost done though. in last Me-Ma my astro knowledge got new birth and I started to understand karma, free will, spirituality, started mantras... (5 n 8 significations...) PS - 6B means what? second half of 6th house? PS2 - "I would say that Mars in your 6th B of daily routine, aspected by SU/JU/VE and of course ME retro, might be the culprits..." - are you talking about TR of that time? Guest guest
I am not sure what is sign aspects as per Jaimini? I mean, so far I know about only one kind of rashi aspect and that is like fixed rashis aspect movable rashis excepting the one adjacent to it... and vice versa and all dual signs aspect each other... isn't this all same in Parasara and jaimini... is there any other kind of sign aspect, just wondering. If there is, please let me know. I am not sure what you meant by, "I would say that Mars in your 6th B of daily routine, aspected by SU/JU/VE and of course ME retro, might be the culprits..." Mars is in my 6H (6th house) and not aspected by any of Su/Ve (If I consider full aspect, not partials) and also Merc isnt retro... What can not happen, can never happen. Guest guest
Is it applicable even if graha is melific? Like Saturn aspecting 7th house in Leo Asc. ? or Mars aspecting 7th house in Libra Asc.? regards, Tushar --- Ashwin Sun <ashwinjlsun wrote: > > Dear Kelly & Group, > > A Graha aspecting into its own Rashi (or Nakshatra) > is a stabilizing and beneficial aspect. Guest guest
The basic principle is this: A Graha aspecting into its own Rashi or Nakshatra (whether a Natural Benefic or Malefic)is a beneficial aspect. It causes those matters indicated in the chart to flourish, or be protected. These matters usually 'turn out in the end.' ***The power of the Graha does need to be taken into account, as well as other aspects, functional and temporal.*** The Nature of the Graha still exists, SA is still Stern, etc., but as for a Libra and Taurus Lagna, SA is the Raja Yoga Karaka, a giver of beneficial and desirable outcomes. So in the end it is very relative how things can work out, AND all of the Natural and Temporal significations still come through! Guest guest
The Strength will either raise or lower the level of beneficience for the Graha aspecting into its own Rashi or Nakshatra. SA in Aries will not have as much power to give to the 10th Bhava/Capricorn due to its debilitation. Likewise, a SA aspecting into Capricorn from Scorpio(an enemies sign), won't be much better, especially if SA is also under influence by other Malefics. There is a scale of Power: (at the extremes are) Purity/Desirable-------------------------------\ -------Undesirable/Disaster Amala Yoga Daridra Yogas then there is everything in between...all of the world's people have unique signatures. out of us all, only some are extremely rich and famous, some starving...but no one has a 'perfect life', the malefics/benefics all play out their parts! So the challenge seems to be reading how the same planets are uniquely combining in each individuals chart so as to express themselves as that person. Thanks Ashwin Tushar <tushar_9 wrote: Is it applicable even if graha is melific? Guest guest
Dear Mr. Ashwin, Thanks for the explaination. I always wonder every jyotish rule ends with sentences like "There are exceptions" , "Other factors needs to be considered etc." I'm just trying to get some more clarity by asking you follow up question. You are saying that ... >A Graha aspecting into its own Rashi or Nakshatra > (whether a Natural Benefic or Malefic)is a > beneficial aspect. It causes > those matters indicated in the chart to flourish, or > be protected. then after immedietly you are saying that > The Nature of the Graha still exists, SA is still > Stern, etc., Now these two are not conflicting each other? For example in my case... I have Leo Asc., Saturn is placed in 10th. No other aspect on 7th. So 7th house is 100% driven by Saturn only as it is the lord and aspecting too. But I never get any good thing regarding marriage issue. I face lots of hurdles and even after getting married at the age of 29th within 6 month we seperated and I had to face lots of loses in terms of money , social prestige, mental and family. So it does not seem to work that way. I have seen similar thing in my friend's chart where difference is Mars in Libra Asc.? regards, Tushar --- Ashwin Sun <ashwinjlsun wrote: > The basic principle is this: > > A Graha aspecting into its own Rashi or Nakshatra > (whether a Natural Benefic or Malefic)is a > beneficial aspect.
