Dear friends,

I am new here and it is my posting.I am not an astrologer nor have I made any

serious study of the classical texts.But though a layman,I have a keen interest

in the subject and have read a few books writen by BV.Raman and others.In the

earlier phase when I had a burning interest in astrology I used to collect a lot

of charts of my relatives,friends and collegues and try to match them with the

principles and ideas I have picked up from those books.Slowly I have made the

following general observations.So please go through them with a smile.

 

My observations are in the context of Kaliyuga when all want to have

materialistic achievements to feel success and happiness in life.

 

In the Rasi chart,if the 9th Lord is weak then he is not going to go far in

life.His achievments in life will be far below his hopes,ambitions and the

expectations of his loved ones.

 

Same way if the 5th house/Lord is afflicted,then serious trouble is ahead.It can

be a mental breakdown,personal trajedies or even worse if not compensated by a

strong Jupiter in the 1st,5th or the 9th.It is a red flag that says'the pay back

time is here for all the bad karma of your past life'.So if you see a really

afflicted 5th house,start praying!

 

For a good thing to happen,all the rules regarding the orbes of aspect and

conjuctons matter but for a bad thing to happen a mere sign to sign aspect or

the planets in the same sign is enough even if the distance between them is

almost 30 degrees.This is especially true of the death inflicting qualities of

Saturn.

 

Exalted planets in a chart adds to the dignity of the person but it is not a

guarantee for noble character.

 

Saturn and Moon together in the 11th house makes the person very tenacious and

obstinate.

 

A mutual aspect between the Moon and Jupiter makes him/her a nice person.

 

Mars aspecting Moon makes the person hard,haughty,arrogant or even cruel

depending upon the signs and other aspects and afflictions.

 

A mutual aspect between Moon and Mars involving the signs owned by Venus and

Mars in a Man's chart indicates the possibility that he may physically abuse his

wife/women.

 

A combust venus indicates the possiblilty of a low interest in sex.In fact even

the mere placement of Venus and Sun in the same sign is a warning signal.

 

An exalted Venus is not a guarantee for a passionate nature but only of a

positive mindset.

 

Usually people with Scorpio lagna are very passionate.

 

Because of birth control,it is no longer possible to predict the number of

children one will have.

 

The rules regarding charts matching for marriage are not relevant any more.

 

Same is the case with those applied for checking the chastity,morals and loyalty

between spouses.Sex is now becoming more and more an activity for pleasure

without any link to his/her character.

 

I will stop here now.These are only my observations and I cannot substantiate

them with any quotes from the texts.

I have noted the principles described by you and will try to apply them to the

charts I will see from now on, if I remember. I already agree to some of them I

am mentioning here... ...

True, but 10th lord can give professional success (even in low kind of

profession if other houses are weak) and 2nd house can give good money. But yes

it is the 9th house which is the real success / prosperity / position etc.

It can make one lustulf I guess. Other things to be considered too.

Never agree :-) There might be correction to the process one uses / needs more

practice and experience :-)

Sex became a tool for pleasure but it depends on the person's character which

will give him pleasure- having sex, going to brothel, or helping others, reading

religious books, or practicing astrology? It will be hinted in the chart as

well.
