Dear Friends...

Wanted to tell all, about a Jyotish Internet course I am teaching.

Actually, there are 3 groups; a Basics Course, Intermediate

and Advanced one.

This course will last over the entire month of Sun in Leo,

in August, starting August 17th...

And will be completely over the Net.

We'll have lectures, and Weekly Themes, topics,

and book readings.

I've been teaching Jyotish for over 16 years...and love teaching

people Jyotish.

I'm trying to keep the course very small for personal attention.

They're almost filled up but still room especially in the Advanced

Group.

The cost is a small, $ 40.00 for the entire month and will include

a lot of special information about your Chart!

To Sign up or contact me for more info., feel free...

Re: Astrological Remedies & Many Devi forms

Wed, Aug 13, 2003, 10:20 PM

Dear All,

Namaste to all the stalwarts and enthusiasts of vedic astrology. I

see a very spirited exchange of ideas and constructive discussion

going on in this newsgroup.

I was fondly hoping (and I still do) that the fraternity might bestow

some advice after analyzing my horoscope. I would like to add a

couple of more points in this regard:

1. What is the effect of my yogakaraka Saturn (Lord of 4th and 5th)

in 4th (house of happiness) with Ketu and opposed by debilitated

Mars? Does it make the sasa yoga defunct? Are there any remedies?

2. What is the effect of Sun, Moon, Mercury in the 3rd house -

although Moon and Mercury are not combust and Sun in 3rd and

combination of 9th/10th Lords are generally perceived to be good?

3. Another important question on which I request some insights - I

lost my well-paying job on July 1, 2003 and my IT career looks

uncertain in this economic climate. I am at the fag end of Rahu Dasa -

Rahu Bhukti (Rahu Dasa/Jupiter Bhukti starts around 2nd week of

September 2003). Though my career was not going well for more than a

year, I am particularly interested in the reasons behind the timing

of the job loss - the generally Rahu Dasa/Rahu Bhukti ending, Jupiter

moving into the favorable 9th, Saturn in 7th, though bad, not

supposed to harm career/livelihood and Rahu in good position. What is

more interesting is that none of my astrology consultations predicted

job loss - all of them told my best times are ahead of me. Any

indication on my future career life?

I was advised to pray Shulini Durga and Lord Lakshmi Narasimha to

develop manobala which I have been doing for the past 2/3 months. But

I have also been doing elaborate Puja for almost 2 years in which I

include stotras on Lord Guru/Dakshinamurthy, Ganesha, Saraswati,

Hayagriva, Sudarshana, Hanuman, Subrahmanya and Durga.

Any help/suggestions in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Murali
