Dear Learner

Not only navamsa, there are many other divisionals as well. Drekkana

for co-borns and vitality, chaturthamsa for properties, Panchamsa for

fame, Shastamsa for health, saptamsa for children, ashtamsa for

disease, Dasamsa for career and status, Rudramsa for death and war,

Dwadasamsa for parents, Shodasamsa for luxuries,Vimsamsa for worship,

Chaturvimsamsa or siddhamsa for education and higher learning,

Nakshatramsa for strenghts and weaknesses, Trimsamsa for evils,

Khavedamsa for Auspiciousness and maternal lineage, Akshakhavedamsa

for paternal lineage, Shastyamsa for past life, Navamsa dwadasamsa

for varna and fame , Nadi etc.

Kalyan varma in Saravali the classical work says, that a jyotishi

cannot move forward if he doesnot know the divisionals.

Hi Partha,

Thanxs for the information.

Can you throw more light as to how are these charts

used in prediction.

As you said,Dasamsa stands for career and status

so while njudging the career of person we should

look at dasama also. But how is that read.

I will be greatful if you can explain that.

Thanxs

Om Namah shivaya

Dear Learner

The arthatrikonas in dasamsa are very important to determine the

profession. Look at the signs in 2nd , 6th and 10th in dasamsa. Look

at the planets there, this will give a clue as to the type of

profession a person may get into. apart from this one must also

consider 4th house. 7th house has to be seen for businessmen. if 7th

is stronger than 6th then the person is surely to get into business.

i mean not ashtakavarga , but the planets. say there are two planets

in 7th house in dasamsa, and none or one in 6th, then the person will

surely get into business. if both the houses are empty then, we have

to see which of the two lords are stronger, is it the 6th or the 7th

lord. this will give you a clue to determine profession.

navamsa chart is very important especially when we are timing luck,

fortune and marriage. there are too many rules which i cant spell out

here, you can contact me privately.
