Mantra for Gods

 

Mantra for Planets

 

Mantra for propitiation .

 

Under Mantra for Planets you have mentioned that mantra only

for "Benefic planet " should be picked up .Why can't we recite mantra

for "Malefic also " .In my views by saying these mantras we are

simply bowing our head in front of them so it should bring only good

effect .

 

Please explain it more for the benifit of members .

 

(In fact I have been reciting 2 times beej mantra for all planets -

benefic as well as malefic since last about 3 months . In case it is

to be changed I need to correct my understanding )

Well mantras for planets should also be listed in 'Mantras for Gods' since

planets are Gods too. But it is for the convenience actually.

 

Under 'Mantras of planets' three kinds of mantras are given, i.e., Beeja,

Puranic and Samanya. All these kinds of mantras strengthen the planet. That is

why I have suggested to pick up only the benefic's one. You would not like to

strengthen a malefic, would you?A lot of people differ and say that puranic

etc., mantras would pacify it. While others opine that they will strengthen it.

I have received the same question privately. The logic is very good that if I

bow down to a malefic, he should be appeased, then why will he be much stronger

and harm me more?The simple answer lies on the truth, 'Jyotish is the eye of

Vedas'. Without eye, you can see nothing. A man well versed in Mantras if knows

nothing about jyotish then he will bow down to all these planets by beeja

mantras and call in danger. That is why to understand how we proceed we must

understand Jyotish. Jyotish reveals the map of our karma and indicates which

deity we should worship and also how and when. That is why it is indeed the eye

of Vedas.

 

One simple solution you can find that recite the beeja/puranic of only your 12th

lord and see if it increases or dicreases your expenditure? If is causes losses

or not? Also recite 8th lords beeja/puranic mantra and see what happens??? You

will get the answer by yourself.

 

NB. Do these at your own risk/liability. However, reciting all 9 planets puranic

mantra (That sums up as 'Vyasa's Nava Grah Stotra') is better than only one

malefic's puranic mantra. Still, only benefics puranic/beeja/samanya should be

picked.
