I also understand that there is kala sarpa dosha ion my horoscope. Though well qualified(MBA) I have not been able to settle down in my career, and face financial problems from time tto time, Again I am facing a crisis. The company I am working with is in a financial crunch and I have not received slary for last 3 mths. I am looking out for other openings, but there is not a glimmer of hope. I am in the IT industry. According to this, the moon is in Dhanu Rasi, Moola Nakshatra. There is no Kala Sarpa yog, which means that all of the plants are on one side of the Moon's nodes. It is easy to see, however, where the financial problems are coming from -- the Mercury-Ketu in the third when Mercury rules the tenth, and the Saturn final dispositor in the second with the lord of the ascendant (Jupiter), and the Atmakaraka (the Sun). With a dark moon ruling the eighth in the first, you definitly are suffering from a karmic affliction brought forward from a previous life. Very briefly, You are running Mars-Ketu dasa, which is particularly difficult for career. with the beginning of Mars-Venus, on or about Aug. 13 next, there will be a focus on relationships and the home. I forgot this habit of former British Empire dominions -- putting the day before the month. So now here are the calculations below for that date, and I've also left the Ashtakavarga tables. So we still have the chart ruler, now Venus, in the second house, and now with three other graha. Income is very important to this native. Saturn is still with Jupiter, now in the fourth, and Jupiter is no longer Vargottama, while Saturn still is. Ketu is also in the fourth, a moksha karaka in a moksha house, but this chart isn't about moksha. With four planets in the second house, this chart is about how you continue to make money despite what's going on in your home. Jupiter is a source of trouble in the home, since it rules the third and sixth. Fourth-house Saturn swakshetra and Vargottama, ruling a kendra and a kona (the fourth and fifth), is the yoga karaka, and gives drishti to the first house. The tenth house is still afflicted, now because it's ruled by a 12th-house Moon, still dark, and because it has in it Rahu in Ashlesha, currently being visited by the transiting Jupiter. There's a much greater emphasis on the home and the established order, and Saturn is stronger than Jupiter. And when we look at the Vimshottari, lo and behold, what we find is Saturn-Jupiter dasa, running to Jan. 2004. This brings the emphasis to the home, not the career. Since the fourth house contains Ketu, there is a lesson about letting go of what's happening in the home. The Atma Karaka is Mars, the ruler of the 2nd house, and Mars is famously unhappy about the home and the established order (fourth house), to which he happens to give drishti here. So there's a crunch. Mars just needs to get off it (Jupiter-Saturn stuff in the home) if he wants his career, and his bank account, to flourish. So my original suggestions about Ganapati and Shiva (Saturn) still have merit. But they work by indirection with respect to the career (but sometimes that's not a bad way to work, esp. with respect to Ganapati!). >From Ashtaka Varga, the strongest sign is Kanya, in the 12th. Moon in Kanya rules the 10th, the house of the career. Career is very important to this native, because it was the presenting issue.
