Thanxs Dear Friend, I don't know how your letter wound up in my mailbox, and I didn't get the attached chart. You have got the Rasi rulers right, but when I put this data (July 9, 1976, 7:10 AM) into my copy of JHL, I got these planets in these houses, with Cancer rising; 1. Venus, Saturn2. Mars3. -- 4. Rahu 5. --6. Moon 7. --8. --9. --10. Ketu 11. Guru12. Mercury, Sun. Please, I'm not a guru, but the JHL lite program is quite trustworthy. This is an interesting case. I believe this native just had their 37th solar return, just before the full moon in Sagittarius that occured yesterday. The natal moon (the chart ruler) is almost full but in sandhya, with its Nakshatra ruler (Ketu) in the 10th, and it's Rasi ruler (Jupiter) in the 11th. So there is both the interest in astrology, and the confusion, of Ketu, appearing in public, and the guru is a personal friend. But the guru has to watch out, because he/she is in sandhya and in Krittika, with its capacity for lethal divsion. This natal Jupiter is also recieving the current transit of Ketu in Krittika; the person could be in quite a stew. With Mercury-Sun in the 12th, and Venus-Saturn in the first, one would also foresee some confusion. Even though Mercury is Swakshetra (own sign), it works against accurate communication as the ruler of the third in the 12th. With respect to dasas, this native entered their Sun dasa at the end of March this year, which is difficult in this birth, and the Moon antardasa is due to start on the day after tomorrow, which will bring all these Ketu issues (what to give up?) to a head. Please re-check your data. If you try to interpret this birth with the planets you've given, I believe you could wind up with a lot more confusion. Guest guest
Hi Friend, Kundali Chart that you have posted is not what I had got. I had got that from astrospeak.indiatimes.com link. As per that, 1 -> KETU ® 2 -> JUPITER 3 -> SUN,MER and VENUS 4 -> SAT 5 -> MARS 6 -> - 7 -> RAHU ® 8 -> MOON 9 -> - 10 -> - 11 -> - 12 -> - PLEASE CHECK if the place of birth was put correctly in your software. I think that first we should check the validity of the chart before going further. If some other member has some valid software to find out then please join the thread. Guest guest
The differences between these two sets of planets cannot be caused by a difference in rising sign resulting from location. There must be a time difference, combined with a different house system, to create these kinds of differences. If the rising sign is Cancer, there's no way you can have Ketu in the first. Ketu is clearly in Aries, in the Nakshatra of Bharani, Nakshatra-ruled by a 12th-house Sun, kendra (four signs away) from Cancer. Again, just as another example, Venus is very clearly on the cusp of Cancer. Venus must be in the first house if Cancer is rising, it cannot be in the third. You could get the relative positions of the planets that you've got if you used another house system than the whole sign-house system, which puts the whole sign of the ascendant in the first house, etc. This is the only system that allows you to write, as you did originally, that the first house is ruled by the Moon, etc. With other systems, you're going to have two, or even three, signs in one house, and therefore a collection of rulers for each house. Wierdly, again, to make this particular mistake - to use Ketu lagna for the birth - is vibrationally accurate. If you knew how to interpret this, you could give a useful current reading of the chart. Ketu is the whole current issue for this native. Tryambakam Yajamahe Horaku SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month!
