Jupiter is the lord of the natural 9th house (Dhanu) and so he is the "Natural 9th lord" for people. But lordship due to ascendants will modify or change it. Still, you an expect that Jupiter would be less malefic while in same case other planets would be more malefic in the same position. 3. Whatever Jupiter's lordship is, he will have a lot to tell about honesty and such things. 4. See affliction and aspects on Jupiter, they will have potential effect. 5. Dhanu or Meena native have good chances of being honest unless otherwise indicated by other matters. 6. Strong Jupiter, or strong Jupiter aspecting lagna causes honestly. 7. Saturn is also honesty, but not like Jupiter. He is very mean, and can cause both honesty and dishonesty. 8. See also the 9th house and Lord, esp if the lord is a natural benefic. 9. Honesty is different at home, different at work place, different with friends, different with spouse, different with partners, different with Gurus, different while making a transaction, different with relatives, different with children, different with enemies, different with parents etc. Each kind of honesty is ruled by a particular house, lord & its karaka planet. Per Rajesh, Jupiter's aspect has to be good on the 4th house so that one is honest in one's own country and with mother. To aspect the 4th house, Jupiter has to be either in the 8th house, in the 10th house or in the 12th house; and one will be dishonest in terms of its bad aspect on a particular house or its bad position in a particular sign. If you have to take into account that it has to do something with the culture, environs etc. then that doesn't make sense then astrology doesn't make any sense. If one is able to analyze a horoscope with perfection & knowledge then one can even tell the kind of environs, culture etc. one is going to have in one's life. I also used to believe it however it is general because here we are not going to discuss defination of honesty. I want to add few things. 1. Surprisingly Jupiter in Cancer does not reflect this tendency though it is considered 'Uchha' and powerful. 2. If Jupiter aspects Asc. and/or Moon, it boost this tedency. 3. As many planets aspected by Jup. it increse this tedency 4.
