Guest guest
Dear Souravji/Vistiji, I am in obvious need of more guidance on this concept ! Keeping the rasi lagna constant & imposing D-9 grahas on the d-1 almost gives totally different indications ! How do we grasp with changes such as a graha which is well placed in own house in D-1 is now placed in a dusthana in D-1 after using this technique ! When seen independently from D-9 these grahas maybe well placed. I hope I was able to put across my confusion clearly, please do forgive any fundamental mistakes in understanding that I may have made, Warm regards, ravish

Guest guest
..Dear Ravish, Few Points from Gurudev (Sanjay Rath) "There are many rules correlatin the Rasi & Navamsa and I shall give you some for a start.. RULE 1) A planet, even if exalted in rasi chart, if debilitated in navamsa can cause rajabhanga Neecha Yoga. {Notes: a) If the said planet in the Kendra or trikona from Arudha Lagna and is a benefic, then the native himself has Rajabhanga Yoga. b) If the said planet is a benefic and is in a dusthana like 3 or 6 from arudha Lagna, then the natives enemies have Rajabhanga and the native actually enjoys Rajyoga. c) If the said planet is a malefic in Kendra or Trikona from Arudha Lagna then the native enjoys Rajyoga by the destruction of evil around him. d) If the said planet is a malefic and is placed in the 3 or 6 from AL, then the native although aspiring for rajyoga will lose to his enemies. RULE 2) The sign in the second house from the Navamsa Lagna as viewed in the rasi chart, shall be the focus for the past Karma of the native to fructify in this life. For example, if the Navamsa Lagna is in the 11th house from Natal Lagna, then the second from this is the sign in the 12th house from Natal lagna. this deals with Moksha and Jaimini accordingly prescribes spirituality and Moksha. RULE 3) The chara Karakas placed in kendra and trikona from the Navamsa Lagna shall prosper whereas those in dusthana shall suffer. For example even if the Atmakaraka is strong in the rasi chart, if it is in the 6th house the native shall be afflicted by diseases. I can just go on and on from my little grey memory left..." Guest guest
Dear Ravish. This is from Guruji Visti Larsen: "] Not everyone with a debilitated planet in d9, suffers after marriage. See the D9 when analyzed independently will reveal issues about our attitude, abilities, dharma, and how we share these with our spouses. But when analyzed in conjunction with the d1, then we are analyzing the bhägya which is waiting to manifest in our lives. This way we have d1 as our life and its overall indications whilst d9 is the luck we get in that same life. Example: If you have a strong malefic in the 6th from arudha lagna in d1, then we say that the native is fighter and may conquer his/her enemies. The native will also show this trait outwardly, and we will all think that he/she will conquer his enemies and win any wars. But! If in the d9, that malefic is debilitated then whilst everyone is expecting the native to win, they loose instead. we call this bad luck" Regards Rafal Gendarz - "Ravish" <smart_rapheal <> Thursday, March 23, 2006 4:38 PM [Om Krishna Guru] Rasi Tulya Navamsa > Dear Souravji/Vistiji, > > I am in obvious need of more guidance on this concept ! > > Keeping the rasi lagna constant & imposing D-9 grahas on the d-1 > almost gives totally different indications ! Guest guest
Dear Rafalji & Sumanthji, Thank you for providing me with pointers ! These have furthered my understanding of D-9 ! My confusion is with a particular Nadi technique called Rasi Tulya Navamsa (http://.org/jyotishlessons/lessons/rasi-tulya.htm), which relies on super-imposing graha positions in D-9 on to D-1 ! D-9 seen in conjunction with d-1 reveals the bhagya that awaits for us ! But the positions are always seen in respective divisions. If we are to see: Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's chart, Ve is exalted in 2nd house Pi in D-1, the same is debiliated in Vi in D-9. Using Rasi Tulya Navamsa technique, we arrive @ Ve debiliated in Vi, 8th house ! Of course continuing on this course we also do get Ju & Me in D-1 Aquarius Lagna as well, which accounts for Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga ! I hope you can see my confusion, am unable to grasp or understand this techniques premise & indications ! Guest guest
Shri Brahmadaru Smarami Dear Michal and Ravish, The only person who was selling the Puri CD was Lakshmi Kary from the US. Michal could not buy it from anywhere else, unless someone passed him a free copy, which usually do the rounds in SJC. This is because many participants record it and then they are distributed free. Even now, we have had a very low sale of Delhi CDs because of that. Ravish, however, Lakshmi has just handed me a copy of the Puri CD this January. So we are making copies and selling them. This should be available by the middle of April. Thanks. I will make the announcement. Guest guest
may fall into debt. I hope I am explaining this well enough to do it justice. The main point is that it does not take over from the original Rasi placement, but is an addition to it. I hope this helps.Respectfully,Michal[ Om Namo Narayanaya ]Ravish <smart_rapheal > wrote: Dear Sarbaniji & Michal, Thank you, I guess I will have to wait for mid-April for this ! Guest guest
Dear Michal/Ravish, Namaskar. Kindly permit me to add a little to this. Rasi Tulya Navamsa, for example, literally means Comparing Rasi with Navamsa. Now, think about the word "comparing". Comparing can be in many ways. Let us say, I am comparing a father and his son. I can compare them based on their physical traits like height, weight, etc. Or I can compare them based on their talents. Or I can compare them based on their status like money, houses etc they possess. Thus comparison can be done in many ways and similarly when we do Rasi Tulya Navamsa we openup many new possibilities of comparison of a person's Rasi Chart (physical level life) with Navamsa (Fruits coming from past life's karma). So just keep this idea in mind that comparison can be done from various angles. Now, in Nadi literature like Deva Keralam, Bhrigu Nadi etc., certain of these aspects are taken into account and elaborated. In order to understand them, let me suggest that one should get familiarity with the termilogy of this comparison process. Suppose Rasi chart has Kanya Lagna and Sun is in Tula in Rasi and Mithuna in Navamsa. Hence if you transpose Sun from Navamsa sign into his Rasi Chart position, Sun is placed in the 10th house in the rasi chart and hence Sun is in what is called as karma-amsa. (Sun's navamsa is in karma-bhava of the Rasi chart). Thus Sun indicates fruits (past life's fruits) that are fructifying in the karma-bhava of the person. So each amsa (i.e. Navamsa sign gets connected to a bhava of the Rasi Chart). So from first house through 12-th house, then names would be lagnamsa, vittamsa, vikramamsa, sukhamsa, putramsa, sashtamsa/ariamsa, Kalatraamsa, ashtamaamsa/nidhanaamsa, bhagyamsa/dharmaamsa, karmamsa, labhamsa and finally vyayamsa. There can be some variations of the names based on context. For example, for the 8th house, it can sometimes be refered to as nidhanamsa and 8th house is associated with death/transformation. Now, in the above example, Sun (say in Tula) will be called karmaamsa-yuktah (i.e. in karmaamsa). >From the terminology, it is clear that one method of comparison is seeing where the fruits of a karma is getting delivered. Another method is seeing Transits of Saturn and Jupiter in a particular sign in rasi chart and see which planets are delivering the results. I will explain this a little bit more but first lets see why Saturn and Jupiter transits are important. Saturn delivers sanchita paapa (sins) and Jupiter delivers Sanchita punya (blessings) of previous birth(s). Moreover, Saturn and Jupiter are the slow moving grahas and hence are more important to look at as they stay in a particular sign for a longer duration. Rahu and Ketu are also karmic planets and slow moving too and hence their transits are also important to consider. Now, again take the above example. Kanya lagna, Sun in 2nd house in Tula and in Mithuna Navamsa. Now Sun is lord of the 12-th house and that is 8th from the 5th house. Hence Sun potentially contains the ability to disturn 5H things (putra, mantra etc) and Shani is the deliverer of the sanchita paapa effects and so when Shani is transiting Sun's Navamsa (i.e. Mithuna) bad effects to the 5H gets delivered). This is how Shani's transits with navamsa and rasi charts are connected. Now, from the literature it is said that is Saturn transits trines of Mithuna then also the possibility of giving these results are there. Now I will give a a dictum from Deva Keralam which reflects this: "Saturn's transit in a sign identical with the Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 8th from a given Bhava or a trine thereof on the degree of that sign lord, will destroy the good effects due to that Bhava" (Deva Keralam, Book 3, Verse 3151-52) (Quoted from "Predicting through Navamsa and Nadi Astrology") Again, "Saturn trasits he sign represented by the navamsa occupied by the lord of the ascendant, or a trine thereof, on the degree of that sign lord, one's maternal uncle will face evils and maternal-grandmother will be mentally disturbed " Now, in my chart, I have seen this to happen. My lagna lord is in Meena Navamsa and when Saturn was transiting the Karka rasi which is trines to the Meena, my maternal uncle's wife suddenly expired. Why? Because 4th house is mother and 3rd from the 4th house is 6th house. Hence lagna is 8th from the 6th house and lagna lord being in Meena navamsa, Saturn's trinal transit to Meena causes difficulty to the 6th Bhava (mother's brothers). Thus there are many ways to look at Rasi and Navamsa combined and they are variously named Rasi Tulya Navamsa and Navamsa Tulya Rasi etc. which are mostly to be found in Nadi techniques and also in various traditions. You can review two short articles in Varahamihira.blogspot.com by Guru Sarajit Poddar: 1. http://varahamihira.blogspot.com/2005/11/rasi-tulya-navamsa.html 2. http://varahamihira.blogspot.com/2005/11/navamsa-tulya-rasi.html Hope this helps a little. Best wishes, Sourav ================================================================= , Michal Dziwulski <nearmichal wrote:>> [ Hare Rama Krsna ]> > Dear Ravish,> > I'll try to summarize the basic point. See the planets Navamsa Rasi, and transpose that position into the Rasi chart. During the dasa of the planet, it will give the results of its placement in Rasi, as well as the additional results of its transposed position. For example: if Moon is in Aries in Lagna in Rasi chart, and is placed in Scorpio Navamsa, then during the dasa of the Moon we can say that certain things will transpire due to Moon in Aries in Lagna ie. the person may be looking after themselves well, they may be experiencing popularity etc. On top of this however there will also be some adverse effects coming from the 8th house ie. the person may become sick, may fall into debt. I hope I am explaining this well enough to do it justice. The main point is that it does not take over from the original Rasi placement, but is an addition to it. I hope this helps.> > Respectfully,> Michal> > [ Om Namo Narayanaya ]> > Ravish smart_rapheal wrote: Dear Sarbaniji & Michal,> > Thank you, I guess I will have to wait for mid-April for this !> Meanwhile can anyone give me helpful pointers/hints to this concept ?> That would be really great !> > Warm Regards,> ravish> > --- In , "Sarbani Sarkar" sarbani@ wrote:> >> > Shri Brahmadaru Smarami> > > > Dear Michal and Ravish,> > > > The only person who was selling the Puri CD was Lakshmi Kary from> the US.> > Michal could not buy it from anywhere else, unless someone passed> him a free> > copy, which usually do the rounds in SJC. Guest guest
Dear Souravji/Michal, Thank you for getting me more than started on this concept ! Transits as per Deva Keralam have opened up many things for me. I have two recent incidents to further this. My maternal uncle suffered throughout the Sa's transit through Ge, this would make more sense if we see in my chart, that Rasi lagna lord, Ve which is in Libra (6th house) in D-1 is in Aq navamsa. Ge is in trine to Aq ! However it is not that his condition has totally improved with Sa's transit into Karaka. Another incident would be mothers recent diagnosis of breast cancer in an advanced stage (She is currently recuperating), Sa is currently in Cn & Ra in Pi, which is 9th & 5th from Sc which has Ju in my D-9. Ju in D-1 lords 8th & 11th, 11th being 8th from the 4th house, so 4th house indications are bound to suffer. It is no wonder that am having trouble with house construction as well ! But of course we cannot go overboard with transits as these are to be viewed only after seeing current dasas in progress. It is in this regard that my next question arises: Sa is currently transiting Cn which has Su & Ke in my D-9. Su is the 8th from 9th house, indidcating trouble to indications of 9th house. Moreover Ju-Ke-Su will start on Apr 4th, I fear for my fathers health as he is a heart patient as well. Are my fears unbiased ? These thoughts may no be well atriculated but only show a logical progression made while writing this response...So please do forgive any lack of clarity or incoherence in expressing these thoughts ! My birth details: Nov 17th 1978 17:51 Bangalore Warm Regards, ravish , "Sourav" <souravc108 wrote: > > > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Michal/Ravish, > > Namaskar. Guest guest
II Om Gurave Namah IIHari om , Friend, Dear Ravish,Namaskar , Just i wanted to tell you there is complte chapter named " Rasi Tulya Navamsa and Navamsa Tulya rasi " in the Book Navamsa in astrology by Sh.C.S.Patel. In case you need classical reference understanig can be expanded by going through the hints given there in. Transits as per Deva Keralam have opened up many things for me. I havetwo recent incidents to further this.My maternal uncle suffered throughout the Sa's transit through Ge,this would make more sense if we see in my chart, that Rasi lagnalord, Ve which is in Libra (6th house) in D-1 is in Aq navamsa. Ge isin trine to Aq ! However it is not that his condition has totallyimproved with Sa's transit into Karaka.Another incident would be mothers recent diagnosis of breast cancer inan advanced stage (She is currently recuperating), Sa is currently inCn & Ra in Pi, which is 9th & 5th from Sc which has Ju in my D-9. Juin D-1 lords 8th & 11th, 11th being 8th from the 4th house, so 4thhouse indications are bound to suffer. It is no wonder that am havingtrouble with house construction as well !But of course we cannot go overboard with transits as these are to beviewed only after seeing current dasas in progress. It is in thisregard that my next question arises:Sa is currently transiting Cn which has Su & Ke in my D-9. Su is the8th from 9th house, indidcating trouble to indications of 9th house. Moreover Ju-Ke-Su will start on Apr 4th, I fear for my fathers healthas he is a heart patient as well. Are my fears unbiased ? These thoughts may no be well atriculated but only show a logicalprogression made while writing this response...So please do forgiveany lack of clarity or incoherence in expressing these thoughts !My birth details:Nov 17th 197817:51BangaloreWarm Regards, ravish, "Sourav" <souravc108 wrote:>> > || Hare Rama Krishna ||> > Dear Michal/Ravish,> > Namaskar.
