Maranakaraka Sthana - With better understanding

Dear Souravji/Vistiji,

 

Vistiji, I read your book 'Jyotish Fundamentals' & gained a new

foresight into the concept of Maranakaraka Sthana.

 

While Maranakaraka Sthana indicates death like suffering, the strength

of the planet plays a huge role, stronger a planet more is its ability

to fight back !

 

With this respect I am attempting to explain the placements below,

please do correct me if I am wrong:

 

Ju in 3rd in Cancer - Jupiter is exalted @ 15 degrees into Cancer,

hence strong indicating ability to overcome.

 

Ve in 6th in Libra - Own house placement, but retrograde indicating

delayed fightback. Birth is also on Friday lorded by Venus.

 

Ma in 7th Scorpio - Own house - strong

 

Me in 7th Scorpio - Birth @ twilight 5:51 PM, time at which mercury is

strong, therefore again strong.

 

Please do let me know if this thinking is correct..

Dear Ravish, Namaskar

Your logic is right.

But some small points need to be mentioned also. Usually incase of people

with Martian or Venusian lagnas, their lagnesh in their own sign in 6th/8th

is a big problem, as they constantly get themselves sick, and sometimes this

can be quite deadly.

 

Example: Taurus lagna, Venus in sixth - its marana karaka sthana and own

sign.

A student came to me with this placement and based on some calculations i

found he would be suffering from a disease in his lower-stomach area, and it

was due to his own wrong habbits (lagnesh).

The student said yes, but said he was 'doing something about it'. After a

few months of 'doing something about it', he became worse and had to take

medical treatment...

See the big predicament about this placement is, that Venus has to protect

the sixth house and lagna. So the sixth house placement was stronger and

making him think in ways to get him more sick.

If you find such placements in a chart, and that venus is afflicted by 2 or

more planets, then do warn the person not to take the disease lightly.

 

The predicament about these Martian and Venusian signs has also been

extolled in the formation of the Rudra Yoga, which is formed when either

Mars or Venus join the Moon.

Dear Vistiji,

 

I will bear that in mind. The very reaction shown by the student bears

semblance with how even I would react to someone's advice on my

health. Even my responses typically have been, 'I am doing something

about it' while truthfully I have half-heartedly followed remedies.

 

What are the indications can one use to understand if a native

stead-fastly follows remedies ? Logic would indicate that AK or even

Moon ?? would need to be associated with lagna or lagnesha in someway...

A good idea is to look at the ninth house. That will show how you treat

advise given to you. I have Atmakaraka there, so i've had to punish myself a

few times to get over the 'ahamkara' there. Still it pops up alot.

Dear Vistiji,

 

I will bear that in mind. The very reaction shown by the student bears

semblance with how even I would react to someone's advice on my

health. Even my responses typically have been, 'I am doing something

about it' while truthfully I have half-heartedly followed remedies.

 

What are the indications can one use to understand if a native

stead-fastly follows remedies ? Logic would indicate that AK or even

Moon ?? would need to be associated with lagna or lagnesha in someway...
