Guest guest
II Om Gurave Namah IIHari om , Friend, Dear Ramesh ji Nameste. No software is written the way It should be.We have done hundreds of example by hand in 70-95.We invariablly casted full bhava chakra sandhi and cusp longitude and placedplanetsinside those longitudes while woking with eighty year panchanga published by Janmabhumi and calculator. We used only Chittra paksh and using KP only KP ayanamsa. We never used any other Ayanamsa. So our understanding is limited to only the method we worked. If you happen to go through in Ramans tradition, a time when expert readings were given in personal section handled by Utpal around 65 to 70,they make highly enlightening examples through which we learnd abc of application. No body taught So much as Sanjayji has given .It was only Shesyadri Iyer who taked about phalit chart( division around 1970) Even Special issues of Astrological Magazines were wanting. I will surely share more Of example highlighting the technique if you are fascinated. Thank you ,at the moment i may beoff for sometime as i am on move. Thank you once again for your interest. Gangaramani Sunday, April 02, 2006 6:17 PM RE: [Om Krishna Guru] Re: Chalit chakra. || Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat || Dear Shri Srivastava, Learning a bit more about Chalita chakra, I realized that my understanding was incorrect and house lordships could be different too. JH software gives the co-ordinates of Bhava lagna, which I understand is calculated based on 'linear' movement of signs by the time elapsed, not exactly the same as normal lagna. Hence the bhava madhyas in some cases could shift to another sign. Wish the software could do it all....Sanjayji in a lecture that I heard recently calls Bhava Lagna as 'illusion of self'. Do write more about it when you get a chance. Best Wishes, Ramesh [] On Behalf Of Ramesh F. I see that bhava madhyas of houses remain in the same sign and hence lords remain unchanged. Positions of planets however change and say 5L, Jupiter in one case is 5H and in 6H in another case. II Om Gurave Namah IIHari om , Friend, Dear Ramesh ji Nameste, Sorry i can not attach the chart. I am qouting ASc and long of Tenth house which i took for illustration as an example perhaps i had in mind when writing mail. i pulled out old hand made chart at random from some twenty year old cases file. I do not remeber whose chart it was I noted on scrappaper only this data.hope manually you can easily check in 5 minutes. AsC was 27 degree 20 Minutes of Capricorn. M.C. Was 19 Degree 4 Minutes or so of Scor. You may check up as many charts you like that are near 30 + - 5 degrees . "My understanding is house lordships will remain unchanged in rashi and chalita charts, only placements can change" I can only request you to remain open if you are a student and just apply the pricipals of technique under exploration unless you have reached to stage of Expert OR RISI. I am only a humble student i work on all the methods taught by ancients and modern. I do not form any opinion and do not mix up basics of one system with others. If you can tolerate my small note , i humbly submit DO not apply jaimini or system analysis principles to chalit / Bhava nor there is need to apply Astak Varga unless you are doing Research. I frequently use Prasna, KP , System analysis , Jemini and couple of nadi principle and am hardly confused ever. Hope i am not preaching ,and you will kindly not traet my note offencing. May divine light bless us all. hope it helps. HARI OM TATSAT------------------------R.C.SrivastavaConsulting AstrologerE-mail : swami_rcs 199,MMIG "Guru Kripa"Shaheed Nagar. Best Wishes, Ramesh [] On Behalf Of Swami DaivyagaTuesday, March 14, 2006 8:04 AMTo: Subject: Re: [Om Krishna Guru] Re: Chalit chakra. II Om Gurave Namah IIHari om , Friend, Recent two mails on subject of chalit chakra between sh visti and Rafal are enlightening. How chalit chakra was used three decade ago is what is quoted By Shri Chugh who was disciple of Sh. Madan Editor of Babaji. In astrological Magazine calledBABAJI still cases are analysed taking chalit chakra into consideration. In northerntraitionally hand written charts carried longitudes of House cusp and sndhi both.sometimes bhava chakra was given but not always. No software these days displays bhava chakra as was tradionally done.In those days in hand written Chalit chkra sign rising on cusp was written by numerals. Therefore in many cases lordship reckoning was based on sign at cusp so calculated. Pdt Raghubir Vyas of Ahmedabad was very particular and in his book he had demonstrated utility by worked out examples. Old practise is summarised by Sh Chugh as below. In hindu or vedic astrology the following should be studied. (i) Sign position as in Rasi Chart (ii) House position as in chalit chakra. (1) the lord of a house is the lord of the sign where its bhava madhya ( house middle) falls. For example Bhava madhya of x th house is scorpio, therefore actual tenth lord is mars and shall not be venus as seen in rasi chart. (2) the functional malefics and Benefics for a nativity is always reconed from the rasi chart. For example , for a Saggaitariuos ascendent fifth and sixth house Bhava Madhya is in Taurus. Here , venus will not become a benefic by owning the fifth house. It remain a malefic for Saggitarius nativity as it owns 6 th and eleventh house in rasi chart. this is correct Hindu way. (3) In hindu astrology Rasi chart has itsown importance. But it is studied keeping house positions as per Chalit Chakra in Mind. suppose two planets form a Rajayoga in Rasi chart, but are not in combination in chalit chart. This means that Raja Yoga gets nullified. Hope information is relevent. HARI OM TATSAT------------------------R.C.SrivastavaConsulting AstrologerE-mail : swami_rcs 199,MMIG "Guru Kripa"Shaheed Nagar. Om Krishna GuruNamaste Tarun,Let me attempt to give my understanding. Both Rasi Chart and Bhava / Chalita Charts are important. However their scope of influence in determining results are different. I would say, calculate the bhava madhya for all the houses and see how close a planet is placed near a bhava madhya. The closer it is placed to the bhava madhya, then it would influence that house that much strongly. At the same time, if a planet is placed in bhava sandhi then it will become ineffective in giving any result of placement in a house. A planet changing houses in bhava chart, represents confusion in those area of placement. I always read both the charts for accurate assesment of the chart. Even I am finding more accurate results using Bhava / Chalita based Astakavarga points, but my study is still incomplete and can not say for sure yet.I have found some interesting points mentioned about Chalita Chakra in a book "Timing of Events" by Sumeet Chugh. See if you can get hold of this book.Hope the above may give you a bit more insight and request Visti Ji to correct me if I am wrong.RegardsRaghunatha Rao--- In , ~Tarun~ <tarun.virgo wrote:Hello Rafel ji,what is the role of chalit chakra in horoscopes.Sometims the chalit is different from Lagna chart , then what is the wayto read the chart. Thanks and RegardsTarun
