Dear Usha, Namaskar

I only just arrived home Sunday night, so this is the first time i see your message.

 

I have the mantra for Soma. It is:

ä pyäyasva sometu te viçvataù soma våñëayam|

bhavä väjasya saìgathe||16||

 

There is a sloka just like this, following this verse, however it is not in

exact gayatri chandah, so i prefer the given one above.

 

I found this in the Rg Veda when i myself tried to find these mantras. However

the Savita mantra i could not find, as its occurences (in the begining of the

verse) are in many slokas.

I’m cc’ing this mail to Sanjay Rath, for clarification.
