Guest guest
Dear Visti, Thank-you for so clearly explaining about the mantra for the suffering man,I appreciate it. Now in this case it is very different. It is a lady who is frustrated with her career and wants some mantras(she has faith in mantras) to help her reach success and recognition for her art work, she is also trying to get a book published unsuccessfully. Specifically, how do we go about giving a mantra that focuses on success at vocation?. Guest guest
Hare Krishna Dear Freedom, Thank-you! I have a question, Her 10th house etc is weak, I looked at strongest hope, I thought that would be Moon(significator of fame, recognition and the public etc, ) and Mercury as they are in a trine, in the 9th from the AL and also aspect the AL through rasi dristhi, showing the potential for some fame,... also I was thinking that there is more hope to gain recongnition through the book, because of merc and moons lordship , placement and aspect etc, Why wouldnt we want to strengthen mercury more than Sun as Mercury is 10th lord and LL and is conjoined Moon(fame).? Is it because AL is more important to strengthen for fame than the lagna,(if it were a physical things we'd go with Lagna lord etc.) When she enters Mercury Mahadasa, would be the time this will come. Venus , Sun are having argala on Moon and Mercury as well. Also that fame may come in an indirect way through students or teaching.etc However I wonder what degree/level of fame she can get as GL and SL is libra, whose lord is venus , who doesnt aspect the lagna or the LL. and is poorly placed in the 6th. If fame is to come , it is more likely to come in mercury. Saturn lord of the 5th and dispositor of Moon and mercury is in an enemies sign in the 12th and retrograde, can we say that , perhaps after some intial set back she can get some reputation through a showing in foreign places? rather than in her homeland? Curious what you think,. Thanks, again. Guest guest
I agree that Moon and Mercury are going to help her. In that way there is no problem, that is why I am not focusing on strengthening it. That combination will fructify of its own when the weak spots with Sun and Venus are removed. For Mercury-Moon combination one would do worship of Lalita (especially for an aspiring artist). That combination in the 5th gives attraction to beautiful and joyful deities and images. This is good for spirituality but if she wants fame and recognition she needs to touch her arudha which is the color of a terribly afflicted Venus. To reveal the suffering of Venus will help her recognition and fame. AL is in 9th house so it must have a dharma/spiritual component to it as well. The Moon-Mercury conjunction in the 9th from AL are protecting it, she would have a bad reputation if not for that combination, but kendras to AL show what you become known for. "Why wouldn't we want to strengthen mercury more than Sun as Mercury is 10th lord and LL and is conjoined Moon(fame)?" Mercury is not bad off. She is complaining of recognition (Sun 10th house karaka) not lack of skills (Mercury 10th karaka). If you really want to strengthen Mercury, for this chart, an emerald would do the job. Mercury is ruling good houses and is well placed, its lord of lagna, 9th from AL, and 11th lord from Varnada Lagna. Hare Rama Krsna She doesn't need to wait till Mercury Mahadasa if she just strengthens that Venus, which antar dasa starts in a few weeks (after you give her the remedy) and Venus is in the ninth house of the navamsa which is giving her artistic skills. And it is Saturn Venus, a suffering Venus. Shiva worship strengthens Sun and Jupiter. And worship in general strengthens Jupiter and the 9th house. Jupiter is aspecting Saturn and Rahu. If he is stronger he will keep the other two under check. " When do you use Lakshmi mantras, worship?" Venus is too malefic for Laksmi in this chart, it is in a tamasic sign with a tamasic planet that has tamasic aspect, it is weak and dying (MKS). Venus is second lord and in that way Laksmi can help with income, but not first choice for this chart. 6th and 8th house Venus has more of a Siva connection in general. Namah Sivaya [] On Behalf Of lakshmikary Saturday, November 05, 2005 10:15 PM Re: [Om Krishna Guru] mantra prescription, recommendation for artist Hare Krishna Dear Freedom, Thank-you! I have a question, Her 10th house etc is weak, I looked at strongest hope, I thought that would be Moon(significator of fame, recognition and the public etc, ) and Mercury as they are in a trine, in the 9th from the AL and also aspect the AL through rasi dristhi, showing the potential for some fame,... also I was thinking that there is more hope to gain recongnition through the book, because of merc and moons lordship , placement and aspect etc, Why wouldn't we want to strengthen mercury more than Sun as Mercury is 10th lord and LL and is conjoined Moon(fame).? Guest guest
Dear Freedom, Firstly, let me thank you for writing these posts. Quite like the work on Arudha and the Bhavas from the AL at your website, this too is inspiring for its 'linkedness', for want of a better word, and the depth of it. I want to discuss certain features from the view point of the Arudha in the chart: 11th June, 1972; 10:17AM; Cuttack, Orissa, India. Though, Guru is appreciated in the 2nd from the AL, does its retrogression there indicate something adverse apart from the effort and intensity to arrive at 'sustaining the image'? At your site, The 8th Bhava from AL is explained with reference to perceived health and accessing other people's resources. In this chart, the Lord of AL and Venus and Mercury are placed there. One can see that the benefit of resources is there and one can also see that the retrogression of Guru and Shukra makes for effort to do so. The crux thing is this: the Dwara of the AL has the Lagnesh Sun, Shani and a malefic Moon. I have experienced the high degree of testing that this migh entail, both in Rahu Dasha and in the following Sade-sati, though Rahu being in the 3rd from AL gave a lot of resilience and 'Rajayoga' results too. Legal career started almost with the end of Sade-Sati and with remedial measures for the Amavasya Dosha as suggested by Sanjay Ji. There is the Shani-Chandra Yoga in the 10th/ 7th from AL. Something of a Jyotish practice is there as well. With the 2-8 axis from the AL and the 7th having all the Grahas, save for the Nodes, which aspect the AL by Rashi Drishti, perhaps making for a perceived enigma, one can appreciate the existence of Jyotish and of Law but not really how and to what degree the Arudha will unfold, now that the process has begun. Are there factors that might be stressed to attain advantage. Admittedly, it is all going quite well, especially compared with the dread of what has already happened behind me. I find it engaging to try and maximise Arudha realities, because it is all quite clear how transient and destined it all is anyway. I wonder if you would write something on what is to follow and in what manner. One would like to exert some Yogas in the Rashi Chakra and see what else may come out of it, like writing, apart from the Jyotish Analysis that one writes and the litigation cases and articles. That sort of a thing. I would be grateful for your thougts. Anurag. , "freedom" <freedom@s...> wrote: > > I agree that Moon and Mercury are going to help her. Guest guest
Dear Freedom, I am impressed by this mail. Thank You. Regards Rafal Gendarz - freedom Sunday, November 06, 2005 6:27 AM RE: [Om Krishna Guru] mantra prescription, recommendation for artist Hare Rama Krsna Her lagna and tenth house are ruled by Mercury which is not afflicted, but the 10th lord is placed in the 8th from its own bhava causing lack of happiness in her experience of career, even if it goes well (10th lord in 5th). The karaka of the 10th (for recognition in career) is the Sun which is not well placed in the 6th house. The AL is ruled by Venus which is maranakaraka Sthana in the 6th. It is also weak by zero degrees. The other sign of Venus contains a maranakaraka Ketu. A3 (books/artworks) is conj the MKS Venus. Venus is cursed with the aspect of Saturn and conjunction of Mars (while Mars and Rahu are Parivartana- tying together the 6th and 8th house). Venus is 10th from AL and wanting attention but not strong enough to get it. Sun and Saturn are Parivartana and flavoring the fame of the AL instead (tying together the 6th and 12th houses). AL/9th house is also aspected/afflicted by Saturn and Mars. Therefore the Sun in 6th house should be uplifted with the sadakshari mantra ‘Aum Namah Shivaya’. Sun is also the Dharma Devata and with a weak 9th house/lord this will bring multiple benefits. AL lord should be removed of maranakaraka status by worship/abhishek of Libra Jyotir lingam with the mantra ‘Aum Namah Sivaya Kaleshwaraya HauM JuM sah’. Ketu as Ishta shows importance of Ganesh mantra. Prescribe a practice of first Ganesh worship, then Jyotir lingam abhishek and then japa of ‘Aum Namah Sivaya’. The Art work should also involve some strife/suffering/insanity/dying/death related to Venus for her to get more recognition. Namah Sivaya [] On Behalf Of Lakshmi KarySaturday, November 05, 2005 8:03 PMTo: Subject: [Om Krishna Guru] mantra prescription, recommendation for artist Hare Krishna Dear Visti, Thank-you for so clearly explaining about the mantra for the suffering man,I appreciate it.
