Guest guest
Dear Gurus and Members, Hare Rama Krsna! Guru Robert Koch In "The Spiritual Dimensions of Vedic Astrology" writes about a parivraja yoga described thus. Page 154 "The lord of the 10th house joins four other planets in a kendra" is the description of the yoga. Now this could be my case because I have Mars, Mercury, Ketu and Sun in Lagna, Cancer rising. There are a few doubts regarding the definition. 1)Does 10th lord join 4 planets, and thus we have five planets there in this kendra alltogether, or 10th lord with other planets amounts to 4 planets? 2)What is considered a planet here. There is a definition of a similar yoga in a work by Marina, a student of Guru Zoran Radosavljevich, which includes non-node planets, 4 or more in number, and 12th lord instead of 10th. This definition runs as follows: In Brihat Jataka 15.1 Varahamihira says "If four or more planets except Rahu and Ketu join one bhava, this is parivraja yoga" Marina goes on to say that this is more emphasized if the yoga is in a kendra, and specially if one of the planets joining is the lord of the 12th house. So if Marina is right, I don't have this yoga because I have Ketu there as the fourth planet. But I have 10th and 12th lords there, and Saturn, from 11th house, aspects lagna. If Guru Robert Koch meant any 4 planets in a kendra, including 10th lord, then I have this yoga. I would appreciate small clarification regarding this. Thank you Govinda das PS I have read out Guru Visti Larsen's new book and I have questions, but this new book came out so I was overpowered for a while.
