Guest guest
Dear Saimohan and Visti, Hare Rama Krsna. >According to Sanjayji in his article on Saptamsa Chakra > >"Generally, a female child is born in the remaining six Rasi i.e. >2nd, 3rd, 6th, 8th, 11th, or 12th from the saptamsa moon of the >father. " I have checked this in some charts, and have found that in 5-6 cases on the 15 this rule doesn't hold true. I suppose to argue that all these people have wrong birthcharts which are so much wrong as to put the Moon in the wrong Saptamsa, isn't very valid. And as I remember in Sanjay Rath's book "Crux of Vedic Astrology" he wrote that birth Rasi (Moon sign) of a son has to be in trines or kendra to Saptamsa Moon of both parents. Nothing mentioned about daughters. However, I had this one checked too and it didn't prove valid either. Or there are more exceptions than the rule... Guest guest
color:#FF0080">||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Dhira, Namaskar I fully agree that this rule doesn’t hold true in all cases. Infact the problem is in understanding. See the Moon is all about community, so the bhavas from the Moon indicate support or lack of support in the family/community. See, girls have a tradition of joining the new family which they marry into, thus not supporting their birth family. Boys on the other hand, have a tradition of supporting their birth-family, and thus they are born in a kendra to the fathers moon. This doesn’t always hold true in todays world, nor did it always hold true in the old days, but through comparisen it will give you an idea of whether the child will support their birth family or not.
