Guest guest
Respected Visti ji and learned members, I was reading about the conditions for celibacy in Visti ji's book. It is mentioned that 6th lord in Trines or Quadrants is indicative of this. This does not seem to hold good in all cases. e.g., in Swami Vivekananda's chart the 6th lord is not in Trines. What is the conditions to be seen for ascertaining celibacy ? A relative of mine (birth details given below) has got the 6th lord in a trine placement. Does it indicate celibacy ? So far he has not shown any inclination towards Married life. He prefers to devote most of his time to professional advancement. Guest guest
color:#FF0080">||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Saimohan, Namaskar You are referring to the dictums in the seventh house chapter. Let me clarify. The principles in that chapter are not related to ‘choosing celibacy’. Instead they are causing one to abstinate through force, i.e. obstructing physical liasons and marriage also. i.e. if sixth lord is in the fourth house, then job and occupation tend to obstruct marriage. I have shown a few examples of this where the natives were put into situations which almost made them break their marriage. In the past an example was given on the list of a woman who was without job, and spent all her time at home with her mother. The parrents were wondering why she was having a delayed marriage, and in the particular chart, the sixth lord was in the fourth house, causing the marriage to be delayed due to being in the home situation. In one case the sixth lord in the fourth house made the natives mother encourage the native to be a nun. So to be more explicit, this principle does not make one take vows of celibacy. Instead for this, please read the chapter on arudha lagna, and read about Venus’ placement from arudha lagna. As for your friends chart. When the sixth lord is in trines (qouting my book), the native considers it a good thing to be a strong and independant person, and this can delay marriage. Here the trines are the self, hence they can influence the natives personal choices. Its all there in the book, i promiss to go deeper into these principles in future releases. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Visti-ji, Pranam. Thanks for the clarification or else it was confusing me. In my Rasi chart,I see AK-dispositor/Pakehsa/6th Lord Ke in the 10-th house in Moolatrikona Rashi and celibacy has become valuable to me, especially with the advent of Ke Antardasha (Vim). Infact the discussions my friends have about their would-be marriages are very painful to me and I keep quiet as much as possible when such discussions come up. Ke happens to be the lagnesha in Shashtyamsa Chart (D-60) and is cojoining retrograde 6th Lord (Ma) in the UL in that chart, in Dhanur Rasi which is its exaltation. Guest guest
color:#FF0080">||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Saraswathy, Namaskar The planets placement from arudha lagna shows how we enjoy the various elements of soceity. This enjoyment in soceity is linked to the rajas guna, and the two rajasic planets are; Mercury (the karaka for profession and business) and venus (the karaka for partners and entertainment). So if venus or mercury is badly placed from the arudha lagna, these parts of life could be lacking in enjoyment. This is why in the charts of Srila Prabhupada, Svami Vivekananda, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta, and others who underwent celibacy, venus is placed in the sixth house from arudha lagna.
