Dear Visti,

1.If parivarthna between Lagna and other planet(LL),then the Paka

lagna becomes first house to give indications of intelligence instead

of lagna and to study health then Lagna is taken into account.The

question is in parivarthna what are all the other factors are to be

decided by Paka lagna other than intelligence and what are all the

other factors are to be decided by Lagna other than health?

2.If lagna has parivarthna with other house(LL),then the houses is to

be taken for calculating dosas,curses is from Lagna or from Paka

Lagna?

3. In parivarthna if two planets exchange their results during dasa

periods,then the remedy is for which planet? For example if Mars and

Rahu exchange their results then in Mars dasa Rahu will give its

result and vice versa.Then the remedy is for the planets dasa or its

results(the planet which gives the result)?

my point for asking this is simple , in my lagna i have sun, mer, and jup , and

my 5th house has sat and ketu,

now what i dont understand is if i take saturn to my lagna , and mecury to the

5th house , then , what is the scenario???

Dear Prashu,

I am no expert, but I would guess that the Lagna having such beneficial

placements would make a person extremely amicable, that is, very guiding and

brotherly. Whereas Saturn and Ketu scenario would set a person apart from most

others - being more recluse and withdrawn. So which of these two categories

fits best? For it will describe in the chart which is dominate - the lagna or

paka lagna.

thanks for ur reply , oh yes , i am very social and try to guide the person to

the best of my knowledge , i dont known i cannot guide any one wrong , it comes

from inside.

but i dont understand one thing,

1)can u any tell me is saturn good for me , becuase some one told me it is very

goood , and that what i want to see , if so , then sat and ketu combination in

the 5th house would give difficulties in childrens.???, and education .

Yes i had breaks in education , so what do we concluded from this???

Dear Parsu, Pranaam,

Please allow me to share my understanding.

As gurudev says...

Important: One should not change the placement of the planet to judge

the effect as you have mentioned below...

Parivartan causes a change between the two planets on various levels.

· Guna – this indicates the essence of the change

· Tattva – the type of activity

· Bhäva – the activities surrounding the change

Rule says "When both lagna and its lord are involved in a Parivartan,

the focus is always the lagna, as it came first (before the lord).

In your case focus point is the lagna, means the change will result

in change in personality. Here the Parivartan is happening from

Saturn to Mercury. Two planets involved are airy and earthly in

nature respectively; hence intensive thought process and

materialistic energy are required for this to happen. And this

activity will change the Tamas guna (sat) to the Rajas (mer) the

materialistic one.

Now since the 5th house is involved this could happen because of some

ability, knowledge, followers, or children etc. any of the 5th house

activity. In your case I will also include marriage or love marriage

because Mercury is DK joined by 7th lord Sun, as you know 5th house

also shows love affairs. Chara Karak shows the people involved in the

Parivartan. BTW do you have some mystery related to your marriage?

Activities could also surround third house significations as A3 also

joins the 5th house.

Since this is happening in the lagna and 5th house, both the houses

are good. So this will eventually prove to be beneficial to you. Now

see the various influences on Lagna and 5th house.

The influences on the 5th from lagna show if the person is

intelligent and capable. I would say Sat and Ketu here are not in the

desirable position. Moreover Ketu is in debilitation. They could have

destroyed the signification of 5th house if Jupiter aspect from Lagna

was not there.

Your lagna is 5th from AL. AL is in 9/5 relations with lagna (focus

point) which is welcome. The influences on the 5th from Arudha Lagna

show if the person is perceived by the world to be intelligent. The

point to note here is that benefics here will promote the good

perception and make a person more of a leader and good in leadership

roles (positions of authority).

Add to this, AL is lorded by Venus a benefic planet will promote

gentle nature. Even though Venus is Badhekesh but it has gone to 12th

house means it will lose its malefic influence and give you the good

result. It is also in quadrant from AL, which are good for attaining

luxuries.

Finally, The influences on A5 show if the person materially achieves

things that are supposed to come from intelligence (e.g. awards,

prizes, special recognition etc)." In your case A5 joins AL and

Jupiter's aspect is also there on the Arudha Lagna.

So this we have seen from the Parivartan between Sat and Mer. Now I

will give you another point. Lagan Co-lord is Rahu who is also in

Parivartan with Jupiter. Rahu is the king of the horoscope. He cannot

be ignored. See how this Parivartan is taking place for you? Your

My god , this is one of the best explanation i have got for Py , it had clear

alot of doubts , now i understand what is PY, can i touch your feet pls.

OK now let me come to the topic,

Yes , i had a very bad love affair , lasted for nearly 4-5 years, I lost , alot

of things due to this love affair including money , name , fame, my preious

years of my carrer, and got just insults , rejection and worries.

I have never been lucky in love affairs.

Secondly,Yes i am a very deep thinker , and i just got married on 19th may 2005

, yes after marraige , i feel i have had major changes in my out look and have

started thinking with more resposible manner , and have completely changed my

focus on my carrier.

mY AIM IS TO become one of the prominent IT person in the industry , and people

and top company should come and look for me and say "that we want prahsant Doshi

in our company"

I known i have yet to break the ice , and i am still struggleing for a break in

my area ,as i am still giving interviews , and no reply becuase i dont have

much experence in the area which i want to go(database administration). i am

sorry i may feel egoist but it is not ego it is my goal , i hope u understand.

OK , one more question which make me think deep , yes i understand PY , but ,

if saturn is the lagna lord , and it is interchanging with fifth lord Mer , it

is fine , but in the lagna there is sun, mer and jup , so if we use the

principle of PY then it is sat, sun ,and jup ,that also in sat house ,what

about this???, what about sat and sun effect ???

Secondly , yes rahu is the king of Horo , and it is also nearly the most

powerful .its effect can make or break the person in no time .

but in this case jup is in rahu nakashatra and jup in lagn , and lord of the

2nd house , how does this work , actually my knoweldge tells me that rahu is

11th is powerful and good , becuase malefic in 3,6,11 are considered to be very

goood

Dear Ajay and Prashu,

Thanks for your interpretation, I have just one question though... Is it useful

to see the relationship of the lagna and the arudha lagna from each other, as

the only relationships this allows are 3/11, 4/10, or 5/9. If this is the case

then could we infer that no one has a negative relationship with their image?

Also, the benefic planets in the 5th from Arudha lagna are also in exchange with

Saturn and Ketu in the 9th from Arudha lagna, so the reputation is not always

clean, and as has been pointed out was marred by a love affair (as they are in

the 5th from lagna). Venus and Mars are in the 2nd from Navamsa lagna - a

combination for an extremely passionate person, love affairs included, and Rahu

the Atmakaraka is also placed there.
