Hare Krsna --

Does Mokshakaraka means 'the one who ensures no more birth / death'?

Then how does a chaya graha like Ketu be a mokshakaraka?

Also, would Ketu in the 12th house from lagna / moon give moksha for sure?

Why would Jupiter not to be a mokshakaraka ?

For that matter why not other planets? Lord Krsna says ' YadgattvA

nani Vartante taddhAma paramam mama'.

If moon represents Lord Krsna, why not moon?

Pls give me some pointers where to get the info, if possible.

Thanks in advance,

Moksha - liberation.

Karaka - one who signifies (in free translation)

> > Then how does a chaya graha like Ketu be a mokshakaraka?

Ketu is without head, You must give up MATERIAL desires to get Moksha.

> > Also, would Ketu in the 12th house from lagna / moon give moksha for sure?

No. Ketu should be in forth or twelfth from Karakamsa.

> > Why would Jupiter not to be a mokshakaraka ?

Jupiter gives knowledge which guide one to Moksha.

Jupiter gives the process (Saggitarius - temples, Pisces - Caves)

> For that matter why not other planets? Lord Krsna says ' YadgattvA> nani

Vartante taddhAma paramam mama'. > If moon represents Lord Krsna, why not moon?

We have to be strict with Shastra's not with our "why not".

Sun represents Siva, so why not Sun ?

Venus represents Radha so why not Radha ?

Parasara and Jaimini are strict. Ketu is for moksha, and every serious Jyotisha

will follow ¶astra and parampara to attain success.

Hare Krsna Rafal --

Thanks for your time and comments.

1. So does a ketu in 4th or 12th from karakamsa liberate for sure? or

he would only provide an opportunity for the respective human to get

liberated (cuz the human's karma has to play a role too)

2. Could you pls give me some pointers or links that give in detail

why only ketu and not other planets. True that Parasara / jaimini

mentioned it, but I am just trying to look into more details.

Thanks again,

Dear Gurus,

I want to ask that:-

1.Ketu is in 4'th or 12'th from Karakamsa "gives

Moksha" or "gives 'chance' to get Moksha" to the

Native?

2.Also do we have to look only in Navamsha(D-9)? Not

in Rashi Chart(D-1) or Dharmangsa(D-20) for "Moksha

yoga"?

Sourav

Dear Sourav

1. where we go after death should be seen in Upapada from Moon.

2. rasi is about material manifestation, while Upasanamsa is about Your

sadhana and spiritual aspiration & attitude, soul matters are seen in

Dharmamsa(d-9) and Shastyamsa (d-30), while our past birth is also seen in

Drekkana per Varahamihira & Parasara.

I was taught to look at 4 from Karakamsa for Way of soul, if benefics are

there then You are on good way. 12 from Karakamsa indicate if You will

liberate & who will liberate You hence Ishta !

What if Ketu is aspecting the 12th house from Karakmsa can this also be

taken a Mokshakaraka? Also what if the 12th lord for Karakmsa is fallen in

Dear Rafalji,

Though you have answered my queries clearly, but I

have only one doubt -

1.You have said "...4 from Karakamsa for Way of soul,

if benefics are there then You are on good way..".

Ketu in 4'th from Karakamsa makes Moksha yoga - so

here Ketu acts as a benefic or a malefic planet?

Is not Ketu a natural malefic planet?

Also which is good for Moksha - Only Ketu in 4'th from

Karakamsa or Ketu+Ju/Ve in 4'th from karakamsa?

2.You have said "where we go after death should be

seen in Upapada from Moon" - Could you give any simple

example? What is the combination for which after death

one's Atma becomes a "Ghost" on the Earth - neither

gets "Moksha" nor takes "rebirth"?

Sourav

Ketu is for Moksha, I think Jaimini lists Ketu between benefics.

Mars, Rahu & Saturn are problematic in these place.

Rahu as Atmakaraka can also be problematic depends on position.

>

> Also which is good for Moksha - Only Ketu in 4'th from

Ketu is sufficient for this Yoga, Venus & Jupiter gives good direction.

Rahu in Punya Lagna indicate birth as a ghost If my rememberance is good.

See the planet which lording the Upapada from Moon, Mercury and Saturn gives

hell, this is from Deva Keralam and this I think is not sufficient. Guruji

Dear Rafal, Namaskar

Sorry, I'm confused. When I asked if you used the upapada from the

Moon of the natal rasi chart, you said yes (I asked because it

seemed a bit strange to use the natal chart for that).

Did you mean punya rasi chart, like you've done below?

Best wishes,

Samir

Ketu is for Moksha, I think Jaimini lists Ketu between benefics.

Mars, Rahu & Saturn are problematic in these place.

Rahu as Atmakaraka can also be problematic depends on position.

Ketu is sufficient for this Yoga, Venus & Jupiter gives good

direction.

Rahu in Punya Lagna indicate birth as a ghost If my rememberance is

good.

Dear

Rafal, Namaskar

Ketu is the

only one who takes one out of the ‘wheel of time’ also known as the

Kala Chakra, hence he gives moksha.

As

for Upapada and punya chakra, upasana, etc.

color:navy">Sri Krishna states that one who is a jeevan-mukti in this birth

will surely get moksha. So if one has performed serious upasana and become a

jeevanmukti through this, then one can get moksha.

An

indication of the natural direction of the mind can be seen from the

Chandra-upapada of the Janma-Jataka (birth chart). A Prasna Jataka will reveal

what is the current direction so far, and the Punya Chakra (death chart), will

reveal where the mind was at the time of death, and hence which loka one will

go to. From the janma-jataka we suggest remedies to make the direction better,

and we can check this direction with time using the prasna jataka.

Jaimini

also talks about the adhana chakra in this regard, which is the chart for

conception.

Best

wishes,

Dear Gurus,

I want to ask that:-

1.Ketu is in 4'th or 12'th from Karakamsa

"gives

Moksha" or "gives 'chance' to get

Moksha" to the

Native?

2.Also do we have to look only in Navamsha(D-9)?

Not

in Rashi Chart(D-1) or Dharmangsa(D-20) for

"Moksha

yoga"?

Dear Vistiji, Namaskar

1.It will be very helpful to me as well as other group

members if you give some notes on how to judge "punya

chakra".

Like, what combinations in one's punya chakra make

his/her atma to get "Moksha" or exist as a "Ghost".

(Rafalji already have said that Rahu in Asc of punya

chakra is the cause of "birth as a ghost".)

2.Also it will be great if you give your valuable

conception on what happens on the Atma after the death

of physical body. (Like concept of

"Hell","Heaven","Rebirth","Ghost")

After death (their is no "Moksha yoga") if one has to

take rebirth according to his past karma then what is

the concept of "Hell" or "Heaven"?

3.Is it possible to find the Lagna of the Rashi chart

in next birth from someone's natal chart? (I learned

that Arudha lagna(AL) in D-60 presents the Asc.of the

Rashi chart of last birth of the native)

Regards,

Sourav.

Dear Sourav,

Namaskar

All this

has been explained in the SJC-USA West Coast 2003 cd’s. I recommend that

you get these cd’s. The principles for judging the same originate from

Parasara himself in the chapter on maraka or end of life.

wishes,
