what a beautiful explanation you have given about the amavasya tithi and the

remedies thereafter.you do have a way with explaining things. i have always

enjoyed communicating with you and do miss the chats on the messenger!!

thanks once again.and by the way, if mercury helps being the green one, will

the plants help people who have mercury as 8th lord!??? hope i haven't asked a

silly question! but better to know than be silent and ignorant.

I like

email better, and if i have to chat, then it must be Skype where i can speak

and don’t have to type too much. Once in a while i’m on the

Messenger.

As for

lordships of Mercury – eighth lord will show where the primary dosha is

coming from to cause the disease. The eighth lord is responsible for our pranas

and if this prana is afflicted, then the planet which is eighth lord will show

the first dosha or cause of the disease. So if Mercury is eighth lord, then

skin problems, or even problems from excess prithvi can arise, causing the

native to fall sick. Mercury is tridoshic and can cause alot of hormonal

problems.

So Mercury

as eighth lord does not save through plants necessarily, but these can be the

cause of the problems. This is why Mercury in the third from arudha lagna can

cause death through natural accidents, i.e. landslides, earthquakes, etc or

just from falling of a tree.
