thank you so much for writing back. after i sent the mail i thought that i had

misunderstood it.sorry for my ignorance.it is clear now and i am relieved! but

since we are on this topic , i am told by the group members of talkbach that

the flower remedies have helped in situations where people lost have been found

and lost property has been retrieved.i just thought i would share it with the

group. when one is desperate, he/she is ready to try out any kind of method to

get results!! but i have learnt something from you today that the plant

remedies are mostly for the amavasya born....thank you and once again sorry for

the mistake i made.

I’d

better give you the reason. See Brhaspati’s blessings help us reach the

God through the temples in the ninth house, however it was on Amavasya tithi

that Brhaspati’s wife – Tara was ‘absent’, due to have

been kidnapped by Soma. Because of this, Brhaspati will not be inclined to

favor a person born on Amavasya, and hence also his karakatva’s are said

to be ruined in the chart. Since Brhaspati is karaka for the husband in the

chart of ladies, its usually indicated that such women have problems in marital

life, or trouble marrying. Also wealth (2nd and 11th), children (5th)

and Guru (9th) are hampered due to birth on this tithi.

Specifically

the karakatva of the ninth house is the biggest problem, as this is how the

native approaches God in their life, through Prayer, going to temples, etc. So

a person born on Amavasya has this fundamental problem, that God does not

reside in temples in their life, due to the obstruction of Rahu.

Then what

to do!

Analyzing

the Kala Chakra we see that the only planet who is able to overpower the

weaknesses of Rahu is Mercury (seated opposite in the kala chakra). Mercury

represents plants, trees, and everything green and growing in nature, and hence

a person under Amavasya dosha can find God in trees and plants, as there Rahu

will not reside.

Still, it

is advised that a person born under Amavasya Dosha attempts to overcome this

through the rituals prescribed by Parasara.

However,

since these rituals are quite elaborate and difficult, Sanjay Rath has luckily

given us some good pointers in his book ‘Vedic Remedies in Astrology’

– Page 72;

“..choose

a suitable place in the Southwest direction. Install a water vessel (kalash) containing Ganga

water (preferably water from a holy place) and the Panchapallava[1].

Install the idols of the Sun & Moon near it. Worship the idols with the

Mantra “Apyayasva” (AaPyaayasva) for the

Moon and the Mantra “Savita” (saivata) for the Sun.

Thereafter performing a Yagna

water from the vessel should be poured on the child and the parents. Donate

some gold, silver and a black cow. Be of service to the priests or make some

donations for their welfare. For those who cannot perform the elaborate

ritual, it is advisable to install a simple water pot and worship the Sun &

Moon near it with the mantra’s. They can also worship Goddess Kali the

deity of Amavasya Tithi. However, the Astami Tithi is also ruled by Rahu and

persons born in it should worship Sri Krishna for protection.”
