Any planet in eigthth will influence the occult matters related to the native

and also hidden parts..brain for intuition and other sexual parts.I am saying

from the various texts and books read from the past.Ofcourse,I am sorry to say

that I cannot give you exactly anything to refer for now.

 

Mars is a violent planet..aggressive in any matters...very much active when in

8th bhava.when in 8th it also absorbs the nature of the rashi/sign it is and

reflects the same in your chart depends upon other influence from its

environment.It is a sexually aggressive planet and karaka for rape and animal

way of having sex.So we should be beware when a person having mars and saturn

in 8th..if going to be the partner.Thats why rishis and anscestors told to

match kuja dosha with kuja dosha.

 

Its a very detailed subject cannot be left as easy and cannot say very easily by

just looking the chart.Systematically we should see all and everything before

matching the chart..even if dosha if seems to be found.

 

Mars with mercury in 8....good for intuition and knowledge...not highly sexual

physically but mentally.

 

Mars with Jupiter and sun not that much bad....Good in intellectual habits.

but very dominant and highly egoistic.

Apart from the topic of kuja dosha, its logic,reasoning and explanation via

various placements of mangal, which we can get into a lengthy discussion some

other time ( I have taken it up in VA group sometime back), my query was

directly at mangal being a positive effect for intuition in the eighth house.

 

Eighth house among other things is used to see knowledge of occult. That which

is hidden, Scorpio is the natural eighth house. Mercury rules intelligence (not

knowledge per say) and Jupiter rules the Dhi. Mars and mercury may not be such a

desirable combination since mercury damages Nerves that is ruled by mars.

Guru-Mangal could be blessing in such instance for occult studies. However, if

considered in isolation, Mangal in 8th will Not highten Intuition, in fact on

the opposite it will ruin it by hasty actions resulting in lack of formidable

intuition.

You are exactly right in all words but I want to add one more thing on the

combination of mars and mercury.You cannot take it as totally bad when mars and

mercury conjoins.Mars in 8th is like a high-voltage bulb having 1000 watts of

energy.Mercury with it will make the knowledge with rashness attitude.Thirst

for knowledge and intuition power will be very high.Mars and mercury are

enemies but if they are conjoined in 8th bhava they fight for the best of the

bhava..8th is good for mercury as well as mars.If its mercury sign..it results

in foolish attitude in learning things or wrong attitude in taking things in a

very rash way.Mars in its sign will make the person a rowdy or ruffian.

 

As I told other aspects should make it good or bad accordingly.

tendencies and malefics here give such tendencies. Malefics in eighth

house tend to use force against their sexual partners.

aspects too. I recently came across a middle aged lady who was raped. I

cannot share her data with you for privacy reasons but it has both

Saturn and Rahu in 12th house and 7th house and lord is badly afflicted

too.

I consider myself to be far from learned, specially in comparison to the vast

knowledge and blessings that you two are endowed with. However, I write to

share my understanding.

We start with the 7th house since it rules sex and marital happiness and passion

resulting out of that. Some affliction to this house via malefics specially

rahu/sat/mars (sun is generally not a malefic for marriage since it tends to

protect dharma).

The 8th house is 2nd from 7th indicating phalam. It rules, among other things,

secrets, genitals, evils. Malefics severely aspecting or positioned in 8th

bhava will not only be terrible for marriage, but also indicate the cause being

hyper-sexuality. This when coupled with the 12th house which rules bed pleasures

one enjoys, when it is afflicted would cause the fall of dharma or marriage

resulting in excessive sexuality leading to forceful attainment of bed

pleasures.

 

The role of mangal is to be noted here as while rahu/saturn also cause the same,

the reasoning is different. They both cause indifference in choosing ones sexual

partner, or being unconventional about social boundaries. On the other hand,

mangal is the karka for bhramcharya. That is why it rules the natural 1st and

the 8th. Also, note the presence of Jala Tattwa in 8th or 12th houses if mars

is present there.

 

Causes and potential for forceful sexual gratification are to be understood in

this manner in combination of the three bhavas.

 

Having said that, I request the learned to shape my understanding.

bhava.

 

Rape is a restriction or compulsion shown on a person over somebody for sexual

desires.8th bhava deals with all these compulsion/forced

activities,threat,etc.All troubles or worries are seen from 8th bhava only.

In a person's life all disappointments,humiliations,worries,sudden losses and

accidents should be seen from 8th bhava which is called "Vipat" and

"Ashtama".It is second bhava to seventh bhava.So,7th bhava deals with sexual

desires..kamasthana..all ways of having sex..your other person who comes for

having contacts..both on bed as well as business.So,8th deals with the

acquisition or in flow related to seventh bhava.

Yoga. Many Graha's in Kendra's gives passion, but this passion is bad when

there is malefic influence. Now if Lagnesh is involved in this Malefic

community then person can be cruel, if Lagnesh is benefic and breaks community

of Malefics then one is innocent but desires clouded his inteligence and

reasoning - especially when Pisaca Yoga is involved.

Let me make it clear again:

 

For a rapist see the 8th house, but for one who is raped see 12th house. 12th

house shows bed activities and malefics there cause the same. Alongwith 7th

house and its lord must be badly afflicted too. Furthermore if there is

papakartari yoga on lagna, then, it is also of great consequence.

 

You are free to disagree with me and I also hold myself to correction as I am

basing these combinations on two charts only:

1. One of a female who was raped by a family member

2. Female who was raped by her husband repeatedly.

 

Having said that I pray we DO NOT get more of such charts. I wouldn't want to

study such combinations borne out of such horrific misery of people.

Yes you are right.Every planet supports its own house if not afflicted by other

elements by conjunction,aspect.If Mars,Saturn conjoins or aspects the effect

will be many times high.

 

Jupiter in 8th in sagittarius will definitely give good intuition and many

peculiar incidents in life.He will have a different attitude on religion and

traditional matters.

(chapter 30), to aid this lively discussion (Itrans):

vyAdhiprAyo.alpAyu kushArIro nIcakarmakartaa

ca .

nidhanasye xititanaye bhavate pumAn shokasantapta .33.

The translation in the book reads:

If Mars occupies the 8th, the native will suffer

from diseases, be short-lived, will have an ugly/deformed body, will do

base acts and suffer grief.

Meanwhile for Mars in the 12th it says:

nayanavikArI patito jAyAghnaH sUcakashca

raudrashca .

dvAdashage paribhUto bandhanabhAk bhavati bhUputre .37.

where patita (Monier-Williams) can mean morally fallen,

wicked

and jAyAghna translates to wife-murderer.

It would appear from this that the 12th house certainly does have a role

to play in issues such as rape. Of course this is only one

aspect. Any thoughts?

Why would you say 12th house cannot show use of force?

 

12th is 6th(problems/obstacles) from 7th(kama). 7th shows kama/desire and

8th(2nd

from 7th) shows the sustenance of desire(s). Malefics(Mars,Sani,Rahu) planets in

the

12th show the can the follwing means adopted to during rape

 

Mars - can show use of weapons like knife, gun etc

 

Sani - can show use of rope/chains or other forms of bandhana

 

Rahu - can show use of deceit, maybe even drugs to sedate

Now coming to jupiter in Sagittarius or Pisces in 8th house. 8th house rules

longevity, morals, occult studies etc. Jupiter in 8th in any of these two signs

shall make the person very learned in vedas and shastras, shall make the person

of very saintly nature and high moral structure, and but ofcourse, the native

shall enjoy a long life.

Dont forget that Jupiter form 8th house will aspect the 12th, 2nd, and the 4th house also.

unearned wealth since that is also one of the prime significations of 8th

Raksasa, why Prahlad ? This Jupiter will be in sixth from Arudha Lagna. All

depends on specific factors.But if it is not in third or sixth then Asura Yoga

is generated, when one doesnt respect peace (see COVA p.321)

If neither Moon & Sun are strong in the chart then Jupiter should be strong to

protect child from Balarista. Jupiter doesnt decrease longevity when placed in

eight house, it does if it is Lording the Lagna, as Lagna Lord always take

energy from houses placed. Jupiter as Lord of dushtana will make Vipareet Raja

Yoga if weak and conjoin other Dushtana lord. Jupiter as Lord of Trikona will

make life less prosperous, while lord of second house can make person earn from

other's death (if strong). Jupiter worst house is third....
