Parasara on Chara Karaka Replacement

A couple of queries on this:

1. Do we determine the sthira karaka in the normal way, e.g., for

Matri karaka find the strongest between Moon and Mars?

2. If the planet replacing another is itself the sthira karaka,

what do we do? (e.g., if the chara Matrikaraka is Jupiter, and it

replaces the bhratrikaraka, then which planet takes on the role of

matrikaraka, given that Moon itself is the sthira matrikaraka?)

3. At a more fundamental level - why do we use sthira karakas? - it

seems odd given that otherwise they are only used for mrtyu.

usually take Moon for mother, and then Mars for brother (bhratrikaraka).

example is not clear, i assume you mean that Moon was chara matrikaraka. In

this case analyze the Moon carefully.

the atma leaves an individual, all there is left is body. If the body is

strong, the native survives.
