This is mentioned in page 361 of How To Judge A Horoscope,Part II by Dr. B.V. Raman. It is also mentioned in page 359 of Samboorna jadhaka Ganitham by Dr. P.S.Nair (Malayalam version). Guest guest Posted July 23, 2005 Report Share Posted July 23, 2005 || Hare Rama Krsna || Dear Venkatesh, Namaskar Neechabhanga is attained if: - The lord of the sign of exaltation of the planet is in a kendra to Lagna or the Moon - The lord of the sign of debililtation of the planet is in a kendra to Lagna or the Moon - The debilitated planet is exalted in the Navamsa Neechabhanga can also happen (though with difficulty) if: - The debilitated planet is joined an exalted planet - The debilitated planet is retrograde My understanding is that Neechabhanga Rajayoga is attained if the planet is otherwise a yogakaraka (e.g., a kendra lord associated with a trikona lord). However it is not sufficient for just one of the above conditions to be fulfilled - the more the better.
