January 2003 2. June 2004 What caused these promotions? Both promotions came when I left my current company for another i.e. I haven't got a promotion in the same company as yet. Why has that been the case? I am expecting a promotion in the same job in the next 6 months or so. Is it feasible and what will bring it about? Promotions can be timed using Narayana dasa, in particular during Antardasas of signs aspected by GL which is indicative of power, ie. promotion means more authority and money, which equals more say and spending power. Narayana dasa of Leo is very good for you professionaly, as it is 10th house and contains AL. You recieved promotions during antardasas of Cancer (aspected by GL rashi drsti), and Taurus which contains both lords of GL and is seventh therefrom. You can definetely expect another bonus during Aries antardasa (aspected by GL). There is no involvement of GL but Virgo contains HL. I started my Leo dasa from 27 July'04 and Leo contains HL. So was this promotion the result of Leo dasa or Pi dasa ? But in your case it is interesting to look at divisional chart also. Though the GL and HL are very sensitive in your D10 chart. With regards to your question I would guess it depends on whether it was a promotion that gave you more power - association of GL, or was it more just a pay rise - involvement of HL. In Rasi chart Narayana dasa was of 5th house which could show working with subordinates, and the antardasa is aspected by HL, which would indicate to me that you were gaining authority throughout Scorpio dasa (it is also aspected by AL showing a rise in image), but with your promotion in July 2004 you recieved monetary benefit. A lot more monetary gains at work were received during Dec'04. Arent we suppose to look at D-10 for ups and downs in one's career ? I was using only a simple hint from Narasimhas book on interpreting Narayana dasa which states that promotion can occur during the antardasas of signs aspected by GL. During Dec '04 you were running Virgo antardasa, which contains GL, so from an objective point of view one could guess you had a favourable experience at your work at that time, and indeed you recieved monetary promotion. All details from D10 chart need first and foremost an accurate birth time and then also many other hints that will lead to prediction. Respectfully, Michal. For example, are the aspects of AL used in prediction? Before, I always thought that aspects (rasi also) can only be cast by grahas. I guess that was wrong . I was using only a simple hint from Narasimhas book on interpreting Narayana dasa which states that promotion can occur during the antardasas of signs aspected by GL. During Dec '04 you were running Virgo antardasa, which contains GL, so from an objective point of view one could guess you had a favourable experience at your work at that time, and indeed you recieved monetary promotion.
