Namaste Gurus, Soumit and Learned Members,

I am sorry Soumit, I must have bothered you with few e-mails to get the details

of the launch date and time as I wanted to make sure I get the correct data,

prior to begin my analysis.

Let me attempt to cast the Space Shuttle launch chart and analyse it here. I

have learned this method from Sanjay Ji from his Atmakaraka and Chara karaka

replacement lectuere, he gave in 2003 West Coast conference at San Jose. It

would be my shortcoming if I have not applied the principles correctly than his

teachings. Having said that, let us start the analysis.

The launch details I got from Soumit and Michal form the

list/message/14501are and if these

details are not correct, then the analysis may not be correct as well.

The Lagna is Li and its lord Ven is placed in 10th house with 9th and 12th lord

Mer and also 4th and 5th lord Sat. This Lagna is a movable sign in Rasi and the

Navamsa Lagna is a Dual sign with Sun, Jup and Moon.

Based on the Muhurta Principles, no planet should be in 8th house, so luckily,

in this chart, there are no planets in 8th house in Rasi. That is good. Air and

space travel is an attempt by the man to emulate the birds, which are ruled by

the Sun (Karaka). So the karaka for this mission is Sun who is the Atma Karaka

and 11th lord in this chart and he is placed in 9th house.

Another important principles, we have to see based on the Muhurta priciples is

the good placement of Moon. In this chart Moon is 10th lord and also

AmatyaKaraka who is placed in 12th house along with Mrityu Pada and also Gulika

and Mandi. This Moon is with 3rd and 6th lord Jup and also 2nd co-lord Ketu. All

these are aspected by Rahu and Mars from Pi by Rasi and Graha Drishti.This

placement itself is telling many things, but let us go step by step.

Now for this mundane astrology purpose, I am using the seven Chara Karaka scheme

and let me do the analysis step by step.

1) Here you will notice that. Atmakaraka Sun and AmatyaKaraka Mar are in the

same (27)Degree indicating that Sun shall be eclipsed by Mars who shall become

the new Atmakaraka. The slot of the AmatyaKaraka becomes temporarily vacant

which is filled by Rahu. Thus, Rahu has come into the list of carakaraka now.

Whenever the Rahu comes into the picture then expect a problem, as Rahu will

have wrong desires and in this launch mission, some one has a wrong desires.

2) Rahu in Pi aspects the Sun in Ge by Rasi Drishti setting the stage for a

problem. Rahu is also conjoined the AmatyaKaraka Mar ( who is going to be the

new Atmakaraka, confirming that the spacecraft may not return in intact. Sat is

the lord of the 22nd drekkana and is classified as Kharesha for the chart. The

eclipsed and replaced planets are associated with the fifth and tenth houses

indicating that there may be a threat to the lives of the crew members too.

3) Malefic Mar, who is the newly replaced Atmakaraka, conjoins Rahu and adds to

the problem. The Moon is also aspected by Rahu and Mars by Graha and Rasi

Drishti, so the disaster cannot be averted. The third house from lagna is Sg,

which is afflicted by Rahu, Mars by Rasi Drishti. But one good thing is Jup is

placed in Vi and aspecting its own houses Sg (3rd) and Pi(6th) houses.

4) Now let us attempt to determine the date of the problem/disaster. Rahu is

placed in Pi and aspects Ar, Cn, Vi and Sc by Graha Drishti. So, when the Moon

transits either of these signs, the disaster shall happen. Of these signs, the

Arudha Lagna(AL) is in Cp and the most likely when Moon transit to Vi(July

13th) or Pi(July 24th).

5) Now let us attempt to determine the Lagna of the problem/disaster. The Lagna

rising at the time of the disaster will be related to the MrityuPada (A8). So,

the possible lagnas for the disaster are Vi, Cp, Pi or Ta apart from the Li

lagna itself. So the possible date and times are as follows:-

I . July 13th 2005:-=============1) Vi Lagna : 11:28:30 to 13:44:32 ( few hours

before the acutal launch)2) Li Lagna : 15:50:47 to 16:03:463) Cp Lagna :

20:26:31 to 22:09:094) Pi Lagna : 23:36:56 to 01:02:05 of July 14th.5) Ta Lagna

: 02:37:33 to 04:32:51

II. Similarly we can also find the appropriate Lagna times (as above 5) on July 24th too.

If I have more time, I will try to refine a bit more later, but it is not

possible now. I request Gurus and Learned members to go over my thoughts and

correct me wherever I am wrong.

Having done the analysis, I have recognized the event is not good and I will

pray to my Mother Mahalakshmi to make my analysis wrong and the shuttle's

missions is accomplished successfully as planned by the Planners. So, please

join with me in prayers to mother, for the crew's safety.

I was hoping to hear of some cancellations and you have listed two, if i read it correctly

1. no planets in the 8th house

2. jupiter's favourable aspect

Let's all pray, pray that those karaka replacements dont kick in,

Ragughunathji's and our combined, prayers to Ma Lakhsmi for cancellations are

answered, and that NASA lives to see another day, despite their delibereate

stupidity in choosing dates like July 13 for relaunch dates, having known to be

bitten once with such numbers like, Apollo 13 mission.

If this disaster happens, I will make it a sole mission of my life to knock on

NASA's doors to admit charakaraka replacement as a valid theory to avoid launch

times, substantiated with 3 positive proofs.

My gut feel is that nothing will happen, because whenever astrologers have

conggregated and predicted doom, It did not happen.

This is the Grand Uncertainity of Life. I love it!!!
