Guest guest
Respected Vistiji, I recently read your article on parivartan yoga. I have a few doubts regarding the same and hope to clear them with your understanding. I am taking my chart as an example. Birth details: 10th feb 1979 3.50 - 4.00 A.M - approx. birth time Longitude: 77E22 Latitude: 28N25 time zone: 5.30 east - India. Rashi parivartan is there between Sun in capricorn - 2nd house and Saturn® in Leo - 9th house, both being in Grt. enemy signs. 1. "Rule 1 - The planet associated with the lagna, its lord or the ärüòha lagna will indicate the focus of the change." I am not clear about the meaning of association here - does this mean Drishti(graha or rashi) also, apart from placement in lagn or with lagn lord as shown in examples. Also it seems AL lord is not counted in Rule 1 as it is not mentioned. So here, should we take Sun as the focus of change( associated with lagn lord Jup by 7th aspect) or Sat as it is AL lord ? - i.e from tamasic to sattiv or vice versa? 2. Can we assume that Since Sat and sun have exchanged signs, Sat Mahasaha/antardasha will give results of sun and Sun of saturn 3. When considering yogas, should we replace the planets i.e Sat in 2nd house and sun in 9th house?. In this case Sun and mer are closely conjunct involved in Dharmakarmadhipathya yoga - how would exchange between Sun and sat affect this yoga or other yogas formed by placement of Sun in 2nd house. I saw this technique being applied in a few chart analysis given online. 4. please let me know what is overall effect in your opinion from the exchange. Both are in 6/8 axis from each other, although exchange between 2nd and 9th lord is given name of Maha parivartan yoga enriching the houses involved. Also Sat is AL lord here involved in exchange with 7th from AL any spl significance?. Sat in this case is also birth star lord. Thanks for your time. [Visti] Correct. font-family:"Courier New""> 1. [Visti] For parivartana, the association required is definitely conjunction. If there is no conjunction with either, then the parivartana is not changing the native themselves, but is a change occurring in another area of life. font-family:"Courier New""> So here, should we take Sun as the focus of change( associated with lagn lord Jup by 7th aspect) or Sat as it is AL lord ? - i.e from tamasic to sattiv or vice versa? [Visti] As clarified above, there is no focus in this case. I will specify the results below. font-family:"Courier New""> 2. Can we assume that Since Sat and sun have exchanged signs, Sat Mahasaha/antardasha will give results of sun and Sun of saturn [Visti] No, i have clarified that this is not the case when analyzing parivartana. Instead what will happen is that the Dasa will activate this transformation, otherwise it sits idle. See below for more. font-family:"Courier New""> 3. [Visti] No, this is important... We should not replace the planets. What is happening instead is that the parivartana is occurring between the second house and ninth houses. The parivartana is between two good houses and shows that the money is increasing (second house) and the father/employer is also benefiting (ninth house). This is the effect. During Saturn antara, the money goes to the superiors, whilst in Sun antara, the money comes from the superiors. Further the next step is to analyze the guna. Sun is well placed, but Saturn and Rahu are both in the ninth house, and this can cause dur-bhagya and delay marriage – so this parivartana does have its down sides as well. To avoid this, wear a Ruby to counter Saturns influence. For ladies we advise Red Garnet instead of Ruby. So how does all this affect your professional life?: Saturn is placed in the seventh from Arudha lagna, and actually will cause a blockage of the social life and cause problems in finances... However this can be removed because Saturn is itself the lord of arudha lagna, and based on your own decisions this Saturn will either benefit you or ruin you. Sun is placed in the twelfth from arudha lagna, and can give some tax-problems, and expenses on government institutions. font-family:"Courier New""> 4. please let me know what is overall effect in your opinion from the exchange. Both are in 6/8 axis from each other, although exchange between 2nd and 9th lord is given name of Maha parivartan yoga enriching the houses involved. Also Sat is AL lord here involved in exchange with 7th from AL any spl significance?. Sat in this case is also birth star lord. [Visti] See the analysis above. Yes it is mahä parivartana yoga. font-family:"Courier New""> Thanks for your time. Guest guest
According to Rule 1 in article, "Rule 1: The planet associated with the lagna, its lord or the ärüòha lagna will indicate the focus of the change" I have an exchange between 1st and 2nd house lords. So here the lagna lord Venus is in 2nd House ( Scorpio ) and 2d lord Mars is in 1st house ( Libra ). Since both are connected to 1st House which planet will indicate focus of the change. Is it right to say that tatva is falling from Rajas ( Venus ) to Tamas ( mars ).. what does this indicate!! More intrested in knowing this because I have entered Venus Mahadasha which is on for 20 yrs. I do understand that this parivartan is good and should give wealth, however please tell us about the fall in tatva and focus... Guest guest
color:#FF0080">||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Ashish, Namaskar When both lagna and its lord are involved in a parivartana, the focus is always the lagna, as it came first (before the lord). Similarly the lord comes before the arudha, because its only based on your actions that your arudha is made. You mean fall in Guna. It means you are becoming less materialistic due to a need to become more protective and defensive about you, your home, spouse and your health. Tamasic problems tend to cause worries, and a need for protection. Yes it will give wealth. Guest guest
Respected VistiJi, Thanks for your kind attention and response. >From your answer to point 3., it seems that DKPY yoga is there in the chart and is not affected by the exahange between Sun and sat. Sun is very closely conjunct Mer giving rise to this yoga. Both are in same degrees i.e 27 deg. However Mer is getting deeply combust due to the Sun only. Mer is AK. Sun is AmK. How this would affect Mer?. Also I read that planets in same degree( as in this case) is also considered a type of parivartan. Is this true?. Mer dasha should have given good results( it is exalted in navamsha) but I am still waiting:)- Maybe due to Mer is AK and being bhadaka. I am not still clear how an exchange between Sun and Sat in this case can be Maha parivartan yoga as 6/8 relationship is there between the planets involved and also both sun and sat are in Grt. enemy signs. would this not make the planets weak?, since they are not well placed sign wise. should we assume that both planets get strength due to exchange? Regarding Sat and Rahu being placed in ninth house, even I am worried. More so because Rah is in Maran karka sthan and is also debilitated in Navamsa ( it is also forming KSY in navamsha). Sat which is AL lord as well as birth star lord is conjunct this rahu. You are right on spot when you point to problems in bhagya and social life( I feel I am misunderstood often). Any suggestion how to overcome this- for rahu and sat. will praying to Ishta devata help- planet being moon so pray to Krishana?. Shani I think is my palan devata planet. Interestingly, going through past transits of my life, I found whenever Sat is in own or exalted signs, those periods were very good both academically( brilliant) and otherwise, and worst when it was debiliated!!. One thing I forgot to mention in the previous email- there is also Karka parivatana between Jup 9th and Sat 8th house karka. How would one correlate the two parivartans, I mean would this parivartan affect the results of Sun-Sat parivartan. Thanks once again for your time. Sun is very closely conjunct Mer giving rise to this yoga. Both are in same degrees i.e 27 deg. However Mer is getting deeply combust due to the Sun only. Mer is AK. Sun is AmK. [Visti] All yogas affect the parivartana, but its hard for me to type out everything i see in a chart, or answer everything in detail. I can get abit disappointed with peoples lack of consideration when they type out long mails with analysis and expect one to read it all and answer... just too much sometimes. But then again i used to do the same to my Guruji so i do understand the willingness to learn. The yoga helps get a better picture of what is happening in the parivartana. In your case the dharmakarmaadhipati yoga in the second house is between Sun and Mercury also causing Nipuna yoga, so the yoga is specifically aimed at establishing some knowledge in the world and that too at a very high level of expertise. Since this is involved in the parivartana and is in the second house, then the elders (ninth) are helping establish this in a group or family of people. Or this could be your prime earning. This is like establishing an organization for some great purpose. Your work must surround this alot. font-family:"Courier New""> How this would affect Mer?. Also I read that planets in same degree( as in this case) is also considered a type of parivartan. Is this true?. [Visti] No, planets in same degree do not cause parivartana. I’m not sure what you are referring to... chara karaka replacement? font-family:"Courier New""> Mer dasha should have given good results( it is exalted in navamsha) but I am still waiting:)- Maybe due to Mer is AK and being bhadaka. I would expect you to be spending a lot during this period. font-family:"Courier New""> I am not still clear how an exchange between Sun and Sat in this case can be Maha parivartan yoga as 6/8 relationship is there between the planets involved and also both sun and sat are in Grt. enemy signs. would this not make the planets weak?, since they are not well placed sign wise. should we assume that both planets get strength due to exchange? [Visti] Their strength/weakness is not affected by their mutual ill-disposition. See as far as you are concerned, from the lagna these are both good houses, but that doesn’t mean that your father/elders/employers (ninth) or your group/family/community (second) sees things the same way that you do. The placement in inimical signs shows strife to attain the objective, and that both these planets will not feel better off after the change has taken place. See the example of Queen Victoria in my article. font-family:"Courier New""> Regarding Sat and Rahu being placed in ninth house, even I am worried. [Visti] ok, interesting. font-family:"Courier New""> One thing I forgot to mention in the previous email- there is also Karka parivatana between Jup 9th and Sat 8th house karka.
